Lukeville, AZ, Becomes ‘Epicenter of the Border Crisis’

Lukeville is part of the Tucson Sector, which had 17,500 illegal crossings last week.

The border patrol closed the Lukeville, AZ, port of entry after reassigning personnel to help process those illegally crossing the border.

That move has not stopped people from crossing into Lukeville. In fact, it has become the new epicenter of the border crisis.

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs is the latest Democrat governor to unleash anger on the Biden administration for not doing anything:

“We need the federal government to act and provide more resources. We’ve been very clear about that. This is a bad decision,” Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs said.

Governor Hobbs says she is extremely frustrated by the Biden administration’s decision to pull resources from the border to process migrants. But the governor is not considering, at this point anyway, sending the Arizona National Guard or DPS officers to help local law enforcement.

“We’re in communication with folks on the ground, looking at all our options. It’s not something they are asking for right now,” Hobbs said.

The migrants enter the country through holes through the walls.

Ali Bradley has been covering the border at Lukeville, posting videos and pictures. The smugglers on the Mexican side taunt her.

But Kyrsten Sinema called me several times the last few days to do Telephone Townhall on veterans healthcare.

This is ridiculous, we should completely close the border until the mess is cleaned up.

It won’t happen under Biden. Cloward and Pivening us to death is their plan, and the Republicans are complicit

Beyond ridiculous; as ludicrous and pathetic as it is, we must understand illegal border crossings are intentional, purposeful, and calculated.

The Republican Speaker must take whatever actions available to him now to stop this Administration. Stop talking about impeachment, just do it!

Open borders biden, bus them all to NYC.

And DC, and Delaware, and Marthas Vineyard and every other rich Progressive run area…. They want them, let them have them ALL.

I think the battle has been lost. Most everywhere people are calling them migrants.. When they cross the border illegally, they are illegal aliens. That seems a clear designation. But that horse is out of the barn and clear into the next state. Our national sovereignty is gone, the Biden administration has abrogated their primary responsibility.

As any military veteran can tell you, a fence without armed back-up is useless. The DC masterminds make sure the Border Patrol is helpless to stop the onslaught of illegal aliens (i.e., New Democrat voters), that is, when DC isn’t ordering Border Patrol to cut barb wire or open gates. Any rational country gets its military involved to guard its borders, but DC masterminds choose to insist guarding the borders is simply a police matter—the better to carry out their voter import scam on the American people.

Why has no one person or entity legally contested the Biden’s Administration failure and blatant disregard to uphold border security and defend existing US Immigration Laws?

I believe such a lawsuit would almost certainly be eventually dismissed by the Court as either nonjusticiable or dismissed for lack of standing. Ultimately, it seems that the only tool available to the other branches to compel an Executive to enforce a specific criminal statute is the threat of Impeachment in House and removal in the Senate. The Court simply doesn’t believe it has any mechanism available to it to compel an Executive to enforce criminal law. The Founders likely never really envisioned the prospect of an Executive who like this.

Last year, Texas and Louisiana did in fact sue Biden’s failure on the enforcement of CIVIL immigration law (there are both civil and criminal immigration statutes). That case was eventually heard by SCOTUS. In an 8-1 decision (with Alito as the lone dissenter), the Court held that Texas et al. do not have ‘standing’ to sue. They didn’t even get to the meat of the actual challenge.

This has been a problem in American Jurisprudence for decades now, often referred to as ‘sign and not enforce.’ Many originalist jurists believe that it’s wholly unconstitutional. But, as of yet, no court has ever really taken the issue up.

Thanks, TargaGTS, for your explanation. Then, the time is now to demand the SOH to move forward from the threat of Impeachment in the House and removal in the Senate to doing it.

Forget the Chinese payments. THIS is the indisputable reason Biden – and Mayorkas – should be Impeached and removed.

If AZ voters cared, they wouldn’t elect mushy, woke Dems. Evidently voters are more concerned with more important issues like pronoun usage, misgendering and global warming.

Oh — in a coda of typical stupidity, the Brandon Adinistration responded to the crisis by closing the LEGAL international crossing in Lukeville!

Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), issued the following statement after demanding answers to why the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) unnecessarily closed the Lukeville Port of Entry (POE) in Arizona:

“Lukeville is the fourth highest POE in Arizona for border crossings. Each day, thousands of people rely on moving through the Lukeville POE to work, vacation, study, visit family and receive medical care. Now Arizonans must go out their way and drive over 200 miles from Lukeville on routes deemed unsafe by the American Embassy in Mexico. Meanwhile, hundreds of illegal aliens continue to walk across the southern border near the Lukeville POE every single day.

While Biden coddles and welcomes hordes of illegal aliens, the administration is making it clear it prioritizes illegal aliens over American citizens by closing the Lukeville Port of Entry.

I would like answers from the CBP on the reasoning behind the decision of the closing including who made the disastrous decision and why was Lukeville closed instead of a less active port of entry? What is the plan to reopen the Lukeville POE? Why wasn’t more time given to warn citizens about the POE closure?
