According to a recent tax lien docket, Ashley Biden, Joe’s daughter, owes $5,000 in back taxes.
Her brother Hunter also didn’t pay his taxes!
Swell bunch.
Ashley’s tax amount is nothing like Hunter, who owes a ton. But it still shows the family thinks they’re untouchable and don’t have to follow the same rules as the little people.

Liens are legal claims imposed by the government on a property or assets to secure unpaid taxes after repeated attempts to collect.
On Dec. 1, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in Philadelphia County notified Biden that the “amount of such unpaid tax, interest, additions or penalties is a lien in favor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania upon the taxpayer’s property – real, personal, or both – as the case may be,” according to the notice.

How many, if any, of the newly recruited 87,000 IRS agents will be directed to investigate Ashley for tax avoidance? Who within the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue allowed the lien to go uncollected or directed staffers not to enforce it?

There’s a school of thought that the reasons the Biden offspring didn’t pay taxes on certain income is that they would have to acknowledge income from illegal sources.
Probably not Ashley’s problem, as the issue isn’t that the IRS found large sources of unclaimed income, as they have for other family members — just taxes unpaid on claimed income.

Good point. I have always tried to file my tax returns accurately, and now I even pay an income tax accountant/lawyer to do it for me. But sometimes I owe more taxes. To make this out as some sort of major Biden scandal is pathetic. Grow up.
At a 3% tax rate in PA, owing $5,000 more looks like a rather lot of income you did not pay taxes on. Furthermore, if you owed extra, would you not pay, such that the state had to take out a lien?
Is the family in positions of public accountability? Are they preaching to us about fairness and being good citizens?
