Astroturfed “Doctors Against Genocide” Cancels Planned Disruption of U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum After Outcry

In a new low for the anti-Israel pro-Hamas antisemitic protest movement, an astroturfed recently-formed group called “Doctors Against Genocide” organized an infiltration and disruption of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in D.C. scheduled for December 28. After an outcry, the group has cancelled the event, claiming it was misunderstood and not really intended as “an anti-semetic [sic] gathering.”

In a new low for the anti-Israel pro-Hamas antisemitic protest movement, an astroturfed recently-formed group called “Doctors Against Genocide” (DAG) organized an infiltration and disruption of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in D.C. scheduled for December 28.

DAG was recently organized, with the domain reserved on November 6, 2023. The exact date it became active is unclear, but Medea Benjamin of Code Pink was touting the group at the outset. That Code Pink was in on the act early is a clue to who is behind it, as Code Pink’s funders fund many anti-Israel groups.

On December 7, DAG participated in a press conference with Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush:

DAG is a program of JetPac, as reflected on DAG’s donation page.

JetPac is a self-described Muslim political activism group.

Jetpac’s website lists its founder as Nadeem Mazen:

Clearly, DAG is not just a group of medical providers who spontaneously got together in reaction to Israel attacking Hamas in Gaza after October 7. It’s astroturf.

There was outrage at the plan to distrupt and target the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

On its Instagram page, DAG has just announced that it is calling off the attack on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, claiming the effort was misunderstood and was not really “an anti-semetic [sic] gathering.”

There was no misunderstanding. To the contrary, everyone understood exactly why you were going to infiltrate and disrupt the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

I’d like the names of all of these “medical” people so I know who not to see.

    I’d like to know all the names of those “medical” people so that complaints can be filed against them at their respective licensing boards so that appropriate discipline can be met out. (Yeah I know, not likely to happen but all the same . . . )

    I will bet the vast majority of them are not even Doctors.

Someone should tell these people to chill out. The side that supports genocide appears to be losing the war. This should be good news to them, yes?

Should be named, “Clinically Insane Doctors Against Fake Genocide.”

We need to follow Argentina’s examples and start billing these groups AND individuals for security cost

Wait, they’re planning on holding that during the holy Twelve Days of Kwanzaa?

This is the way the Left rolls; it’s a psy-op intended to make you question reality and accept the opposite so that you become easier to control. For example:

— the practitioners of racism are now the victims of racism;
— the insurrectionist rioters destroying property are peaceful protestors;
— peaceful protestors escorted by Capitol Police are insurrectionists;

and now:

— the victims of genocide are now the perpetrators of genocide;

See how that works?

    Until recently, American blacks were the worst racists, Muslims have now taken the lead.

      Just until recently? You’ll have to give us a timeline on how and when this changed, genius.

      I ask you: Can’t you be more racist on LI blog? You post that all Blacks are all racists. That all Muslims are all racists. You need to look in the mirror. You are the most racist commentator here on Legal Insurrection, and I have been here when LI stared. You are pathetic. And you detract from everything that LI has gained over the decades.

        JR legal argument summation: how can you be so raaaaaaaaaacist?

        lol

        Milhouse in reply to JR. | December 27, 2023 at 12:15 am

        Chill. He didn’t say all blacks (lower case b) are racist, just that a greater proportion of black Americans were racist than is the case for any other demographic trait. And that now Moslem has become the trait most predictive of racism, overtaking blackness. Now he didn’t offer any proof for this, but it’s hardly implausible. It’s easily observed that there are a lot of black racists, and there are also a lot of Moslem racists. Further than that lies plausible speculation.

In other news, Rashida Tlaib nominated for Terrorist Apologist of the Year Award.

    Rashida Tlaib and her people would love to commit genocide, but are mad that they are so dumb that they cannot make the grade, what they do not understand is that their adversaries are competent enough to exterminate them, but so far too civilized to do so.

    Fun fact: she IS one of the three finalists in a poll to name the top antisemite of 2023.

Today’s shocking headline;

Lying liars lie.

Glad to see someone local is raising pluperfect Hell over these “events.” This is the Democrat Party. I got an earful from family members, Jewish no less, about how “Yeah, Hamas is horrible but Netanyahu is evil and Israel has been oppressing these poor people” — and these people are Jewish (the pertinent term really is “Democrats.”

We should take up the task of educating everyone in the US under 40 about the history of the Muslim Brotherhood, its philosophy, and offshoots. Apparently reading and listening to the MSM has left them woefully uninformed. The MSM is carrying Hamas propaganda with no perspective whatsoever. It’s ugly.

Dr Gay a member?

“Useful idiot ‘Doctors’ for Islamofascism.”

Disgusting ! Glad that they were for ed to cancel !

How completely effed in the head did they have to be to ever think that this was a good idea?

I often say that Liberals are evil, not stupid. This proves that there are exceptions to that – these evil a$$clowns are incredibly stupid.

I no longer trust doctors at all. This makes me even more leery of them. They don’t even follow the original Hippocratic oath as this clearly brought terror and fear to millions of Americans. Every single one of them should immediately lose their license for causing mental damage to people. I am watching what the Pro-HAMAS/Pro-Muslim crowd is doing to people of Jewish ancestry in my city and at Syracuse University and it’s time we all stand up and cancel them.

William Downey | December 27, 2023 at 9:56 am

Of course, it was anti-Semitic. Most of us aren’t as stupid as some presume.

The only genocide in sight was initiated by Hamas. Everything in response is self-defense. Any Gaza civilians caught in the crossfire are the fault of the Hamas filth that made sure to put them there. Plus, plenty of Gaza “civilians” were wildly cheering the baby killing, raping, murdering terrorists, as well as eagerly spitting on Israel hostages and the dead bodies of Israelis murdered or gang raped by Hamas filth. So all decent people don’t care how many of these Hamas uses as (sub)human shields.

And these anti-Semitic MDs are so foolish as to expect clear-thinking people to believe they do not seek the destruction of Israel and the elimination of all Jewish people? I don’t believe I want any of its members caring for me.

So when did “astroturfed” become a word? I never heard it before, so I had to search to see how old and uninformed I’d become. Stop using words like that. I don’t like to be reminded of how out of touch I am.
