Antisemitic ‘Pro-Palestinian’ Mob Targets Famous Philadelphia Jewish Restaurant

Antisemitic ‘Pro-Palestinian’ Mob Targets Famous Philadelphia Jewish Restaurant

Gov. Shapiro: “Tonight in Philly, we saw a blatant act of antisemitism — not a peaceful protest.”

When they show you who they are, then you better believe them.

It’s not about Palestine. It’s not just about Israel. It’s about Jews.

An antisemitic mob targeted Goldie, an award-winning restaurant run by Michael Solomonov, in Philadelphia, PA.

The mob shouted antisemitic chants at the Jewish and Israeli-owned falafel restaurant.

David Frum, who has been outspoken about the antisemitism plaguing the country, wrote:

An antisemitic mob has descended on Michael Solomonov’s falafel restaurant in Philadelphia. They demand a boycott of Jewish goods. Michael Solomonov is a James Beard Award-winning chef. He makes some of the best hummus outside Israel, as well as outstanding lamb and other dishes. It all ships via Goldbelly. If you want to send a message of your own to the boycotters, you can do so here.

Alex Zeldin, author at The Forward, stated the obvious:

A “Jewish and Israeli owned falafel restaurant” in Philadelphia cannot do a single thing about Israel’s military campaign against Hamas.

What you’re looking at is people normalizing antisemitic incitement against their Jewish neighbors.

Middle east analyst Eli Kowaz wrote:

In Philadelphia, protestors outside falafel restaurant “Goldie” chant:

“Goldie, Goldie you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide.”

Goldie is owned by American-Israeli Chef Mike Solomonov, an outspoken advocate of Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro also condemned the mob:

Tonight in Philly, we saw a blatant act of antisemitism — not a peaceful protest.

A restaurant was targeted and mobbed because its owner is Jewish and Israeli. This hate and bigotry is reminiscent of a dark time in history.

The Left: THATS COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT (Israel killing Hamas who deliberately uses civilians as shields which ends up killing some palestinians).

When Arabs in Palestine willingly offer their children as cannon fodder, should we be surprised that some of them are willing to sacrifice their fellows?

Considering this, why shouldn’t we consider all of them expendable?

      broomhandle in reply to JohnSmith100. | December 4, 2023 at 1:46 pm

I understand that sentiment completely, but I think the best and only reason not to is because the Arabs who some call “Palestinians” did get screwed over royally – by ARAB countries, not by Israel. Their situation and their descent into savagery was nurtured every step of the way by Arab states as a terror weapon against Israel that they can keep an arm’s length from. As guilty as the Arabs in Gaza and Judea and Samaria are, it is the Arab countries that should be forced to deal with the horror they have created by taking on these people. Wiping them out is not totally unjustified but it would still play directly into Arab’s bogus narrative of “genocide.”

        JohnSmith100 in reply to broomhandle. | December 5, 2023 at 8:01 pm

Arabs in Palestine started a civil war in Jordan, Jordan expelled them to Palestine, and revoked their citizenship. As I recall, Jordan also killed about 15,000 of them at that time. So while other countries do use them, to say they were screwed ignores the fact that they are bad players, both then a now. They have a great deal of justice coming to them.

          Milhouse in reply to JohnSmith100. | December 5, 2023 at 11:12 pm

Jordan did not expel anyone to “Palestine”, because there was no “Palestine” at the time. It certainly didn’t expel anyone to Israel, or to Israeli-controlled territory, because the Israelis would not have allowed them in. After “Black September” the PLO and its supporters moved from Jordan to Lebanon. Most of their children and grandchildren are still in “refugee camps” there.

Not just in America; all over the world.

    The logic of Harvard alright.

I’d have guessed Golda Meir.

How’s obama 3rd term working out for you, dems? No safe spaces for jews anymore, anywhere in the world?

Dementia Joe can’t remember what ice cream he ate last week.

There’s no cure for stupid. I’d’ve taken it a long time ago if there was.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to Concise. | December 4, 2023 at 10:20 am

In the case of Pales in America, there is a cure, the only question is how long before it is used. They are too dumb to understand, as shown by their conduct since the late 1800s. I’d say give them an attitude adjustment, but in spite many, they still have learned nothing.

Thad Jarvis in reply to JohnSmith100. | December 4, 2023 at 11:25 am

“there is a cure, the only question is how long before it is used.”

Still wondering what exactly you mean, and what exactly you’re waiting for if you’re really that committed to the cause, tough guy.

JohnSmith100 in reply to Thad Jarvis. | December 5, 2023 at 8:15 pm

As more information come to light those loser Jordanians, stateless because of their conduct when they were citizens of Jordan and their current actions, look more expendable every day.

Their actions all over the world, does make it clear that they are undesirables.

Rather than tossing out “tough guy” as an insult, offer reasoned responses. I thing the reason that you do not is that you know I will shred your arguments.

“Tonight in Philly, we saw a blatant act of antisemitism — not a peaceful protest.”
No, what you saw was an act of terrorism.
It should be dealt with appropriately.

The point of protest organization is the reaction, which equals coverage. You get an automatically bigger reaction the more antisemitic you can make it look.

Unfortunately it’s also what works as clickbait.

Pro-Palestinian protesters are not truly anti-semitic; they’re simply dramatic actors working from clickbait scripts.

Fortunately, the SAG•AFTRA strike ended, and Hamas script writers and actors could get back to work at Goldie Studios.

You still pushing the “Jews imagine antisemitism” BS, rhhardin?

Good writing though i am sure you could have found plenty of quotes condemning this evil w o quoting idiot frum

Went through Philadelphia twice, once deploying and second returning, could not get through fast enough.

The Gentle Grizzly | December 4, 2023 at 12:05 pm

It’s more than time for there to be Rooftop Jews .

I predict an American kristalnacht at, say, Fairfax and Beverly in Los Angeles or similar in another city. It will be soon.

The Left is out of control. It seems thery are building up to something awful. If Philadelphia (the City of Love) doesn’t crack down on this type of mass bullying demonstration, things will just get worse. They need to return to the broken windows police theory that made NYC safe under Giuliani.

The Left is not just out of control in. the US. Pro-Palestinian demonstrations are happening in every western nation, which is incredible given the open savagery of October 7. Muslims and their supporters are not looking very good right now. So much for open borders and mass migration. of an opposite culture. A rhetorical question; Is Afghanistan better off today or are we worse off?

Gotta wonder what exactly have they been smoking in Davos that this is what the elite world leaders have created. Are they trying to recreate the civil unrest of 1848??? WIll the western world fall into chaos and civil war???

Should we all be looking for some kind of escape from the coming Dark Ages?

WIll the western world fall into chaos and civil war???
That is what they desire. Only once you have “deconstructed” the west can you then build utopia in its place. Breaking eggs is part of the plan.

Should we all be looking for some kind of escape from the coming Dark Ages?
The only place will be the same as it was the first time through: deep within the Christian church.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to CincyJan. | December 6, 2023 at 7:38 am

Muslims most certainly have the potential to cause a new dark age. They stagnated while the west evolved. As a matter of policy, no more Arabs should be admitted, and law should be changed to allow easier expulsion of those already here, including naturalized citizens.

The authorities have now signaled that it is OK to be anti-semitic. With the invasion of Gaza and totally forgetting if not applauding what happened in Israel, the Left has given the green light for its latest peak intersectional “victim” to retaliate. To win (buy) back the Pro-Islamic vote, small Jewish businesses are targeted just like minority businesses were wiped out during the Summer of St. George of Floyd.

It’s Philly…. a Leftist stronghold that helped steal the 2020 election.

MY GOD! This is like a picture of prewar Germany! Next, they will have to paint six-point stars on all of the Jewish-owned places! The wimpy governor of PA should resign over his tepid statement. He should have had the entire police force of Philadelphia there and arrested every single “Protestor”. This must be stopped now and those involved must be deported if they are not American citizens. If they are citizens they must be prosecuted for hate crimes. This cannot be allowed to continue in our country. We should all shout, “Never again” and remember the slimy Germans who all stated that they were not Nazis after they were defeated. Silence is not a choice.

Crawford in reply to inspectorudy. | December 4, 2023 at 5:54 pm

The “paint stars on Jewish-owned businesses and homes” has already happened in France.

Milhouse in reply to inspectorudy. | December 5, 2023 at 11:31 pm

Those who put stickers on the restaurant should have been arrested, if they could be identified. But almost everyone there didn’t break any laws. They just stood on a public street showing the world that they are disgusting pigs. That isn’t and can’t be against the law.

      JohnSmith100 in reply to Milhouse. | December 6, 2023 at 7:44 am

It is vandalism, racial intimidation, and inference with the business. If Dems can find ways to keep charging Trump, then surely we can find ways to hang those people.

Imagine the vile Dhimmi-crats’ and Dhimmi-crat media’s reaction if American Jews (or, any other group) directed a belligerent, bullying and intimidation display outside of a Muslim-owned halal and/or middle eastern restaurant. We’d never hear the end of their outraged howls.

But, it’s totally okay for mobs of Muslim supremacists and thugs to protest outside a restaurant owned by an American Jew, because.

Can’t wait to spend four years at Temple.

Or Penn.

Or Haverford Bryn Mawr Swarthmore

Lol lolol

Can’t wait to take a job in Philadelphia lololololol

““This is Genocide” (serving falafel?)”
“Visualized Whirled Peas.”

Wait till the mob learns that the Governor of PA is a jew

Also a Democrat. And George Soros is a Jew.

The Real Truth in reply to henrybowman. | December 5, 2023 at 9:57 pm

I don’t know anything about the Governor of Pa. but George Soros although born into a Jewish family has NEVER been a Jew. He has been an Atheist since he was a child. Maybe that is why he does the terrible things that he does because he thinks there is no God so he can be as evil as he wants to be !

He’s still a Jew. What he believes, or doesn’t, has nothing to do with it. Anyone born to a Jewish mother is a Jew regardless of what he or his mother might believe.

JohnSmith100 in reply to The Real Truth. | December 6, 2023 at 7:58 am

A significant % of humanity lack an inner moral-ethical compass. Some groups more so that others. We know that 75% or more of Gazans lack either. Muslims in general seem to deficient. Development of church and state law was meant to reign in those people.

Brownshirt thugs running rampant without any consequence, and constant uncontrolled inflation reeks of 1936 Germany.

I bought one bag of groceries today. Nothing special, just the basics. It cost me $73.00. The same bag of goods cost less than half of that just 3 years ago.

alaskabob in reply to SField. | December 5, 2023 at 12:15 pm

Food is not figured into the wonderful news about inflation under control…. spoiler alert to Dems… it doesn’t end well.

The Real Truth | December 5, 2023 at 10:01 pm

This display of TERROR against that restaurant was truly revolting ! Those ignorant and antisemitic fools should have been arrested. We will NOT go back to Nazi Germany’s horrific ways so we have to put a stop to this NOW !
