‘Just a Regular Guy’ – Meet NYC Construction Worker Who Confronted Man Tearing Down Israeli Hostage Posters

By now, you have probably seen the viral video of some men in New York confronting another man who was tearing down posters of missing Israelis, saying:

“You don’t have a f—ing right to touch that s—,” the man sporting a brown plaid shirt yelled in a thick New York City accent about halfway through the 43-second clip, which was first shared by the group StopAntisemitism. Someone can be heard calling him Paulie.

Someone tracked them down to thank them and they were incredibly gracious. The man identified as ‘Paulie’ says:

“I’m just a regular guy who didn’t like what I saw. It shouldn’t be celebrated, what I did, it should be normal. Every one should react like that. It shouldn’t be a news story that someone doesn’t like posters of murdered children, kidnapped children, being taken down. This should be the norm – not the exception. What that guy was doing should be the exception.”

Watch below:

These are real men and we need more real men in this country who are willing to stand up, speak out, and do what is right. He may claim he is not a hero, but in times like these, he is one and we could use more just like him.
