Gaza: IDF Closes in on Hamas Underground HQ Beneath Gaza City Shifa Hospital

IDF Chief of the General Staff: “We have been at war for a month now, we are inflicting severe damage to Hamas, damaging the leadership of Hamas, targeting the commanders, targeting the terrorists.”

As Israel’s ground offensive entered its eleventh day, the IDF is closing in on the Hamas headquarters located underneath the Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital.  “Israeli forces on Monday pushed further into the Gaza Strip and were reportedly nearing the enclave’s main Shifa Hospital — which Jerusalem says is located above Hamas’s command center — as they continued to target Hamas’s underground tunnel network and military capabilities, after launching intensive strikes against the terror group the night before,” The Times of Israel reported.

The advancing Israeli ground troops overran the first Hamas terrorist strong hold in Gaza. “IDF fighters from the 7th Brigade Combat Team took control of a military stronghold of the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip in the past day. Anti-tank launchers and missiles, various weapons and intelligence materials were located at the outpost,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in statement Tuesday morning.

A month after the mass-murder of Israelis, most of them unarmed civilians, by the terrorist intruders belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the Israeli ground forces have cut Gaza into half, dividing the terrorist-controlled territory into the combat zone in the north and safe zone for the civilian evacuation in the south. The city of Gaza in the northern part of the coastal territory is a Hamas stronghold, infested with terrorist tunnels, fortification and weapons depots.

The air, ground and naval forces were conducting a multi-pronged attacks against Hamas. “We have been at war for a month now, we are inflicting severe damage to Hamas, damaging the leadership of Hamas, targeting the commanders, targeting the terrorists, destroying Hamas’ infrastructure in Gaza, and we are also constantly ready for other areas,” Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi said on Tuesday.

The Israeli military on Tuesday morning disclosed the details of the nighttime operation:

IDF fighters from the 7th Brigade Combat Team took control of a military stronghold of the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip in the past day. Anti-tank launchers and missiles, various weapons and intelligence materials were located at the outpost.

A fighter jet attacked a squad of about 10 terrorists in cooperation with fighters in the Nahal Brigade combat team who identified the squad and directed the attack.

Later, the fighters identified an anti-tank squad that was operating near them and directed another aircraft that attacked the squad.

During the night, the IDF attacked dozens of positions for launching mortars.

Tonight the Navy forces attacked targets of the terrorist organization Hamas, which include positions for technological means, using precision weaponry.

In addition, the fire complex of Division 36 located a number of terrorists of the terrorist organization Hamas, who had barricaded themselves in a building near Al-Quds Hospital and from where they planned to launch an attack against our forces.

As Israeli soldiers flush out the terrorist enemy in house-to-house combat, they uncover Hamas tunnel network and weapons cache underneath residential building. The IDF is discovering terrorist tunnel shafts opening into houses, hospitals and mosques.

The house-to-house searches are also yielding more evidence of how Hamas has deeply penetrated Gaza society, training kind in terror camps and recruiting their parents for terrorist activities.

New evidence suggest that Hamas was using Israel’s work permit program to gather intelligence on Israeli border communities. Some of the terrorists who entered Israel on October 7 were holders of work-permits and intimate knowledge of the security measures in place.

Israel issued around 18,000 work-permits to Gazans seeking gainful employment in Israel.

As Israeli military sweeps deep into the terrorist-held area, they continue to find more and more evidence of Hamas using Gaza civilians as human shields in its war of jihad against Israel.

The Israeli broadcaster Arutz Sheva reported Tuesday:

During combat operations in the Gaza Strip, IDF forces located and uncovered additional evidence of Hamas’ use of civilian sites for terrorist purposes and especially for launching rockets at the State of Israel.

During activity by a team of soldiers of the 460th Brigade to locate terrorist infrastructure and clear the area, rocket launch pits found by the soldiers in a mosque were destroyed.

In addition, during several activities in the past day, the soldiers found over 50 rockets ready to be launched into Israel from inside a youth movement compound in Northern Gaza.

Jerusalem: Female terrorist wrapped in Hamas flag attacks police

Israeli police in the city of Jerusalem took out a woman wrapped in Hamas flag, who tried to carry out a stabbing attack.

“Female terrorist wrapped in Hamas flag attempted to carry out stabbing attack at Jerusalem checkpoint,” the i24News reported. “The terrorist was neutralized by a shot in the lower body, according to the police statement.”

Hamas has a green colored flag inscribed with Shahada, or the Muslim testament  of faith, proclaiming that “there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” The terrorist flag has been spotted at the recent pro-Hamas rallies in cities across the West, including New York.

There will be peace in the ME when the Muslims love their children more than they hate Jews…

I think Muslims need first to reform their religion before they can turn hatred to love.

Since the dawn of Islam, anyone who tries to reform has been murdered. It would take an extinction event to change Islam.

Muslims have had 1,400 years to institute meaningful reformation; it hasn’t happened and it’s not going to happen, because any attempt at doing so is viewed as heresy, punishable by death.

The popular and theological will simply don’t exist in the Muslim community for the implementation of substantive Islamic reformation, no matter how badly non-Muslims desire to see it occur.

The Sufi and Ahmadiyya Islamic sects represent laudable attempts at Islamic moderation, but, these sects hold no influence in the Islamic world, at-large, and, are viewed as heretics by the Sunni majority and Shia minority.

If they reformed it, it would no longer be Islam.

Gonna be interesting to see how the propaganda plays out from the woke/lefty side as the mounting evidence of Hamas co locating munitions, command/control centers in what are supposedly purely civilian facilities is released. Pretty sure it will follow the usual framework of:
1. It didn’t happen
2. Ok, it happened here in this particular case but this is an outlier and not reflective of normal ways of doing things
3. It happened across the board but its b/c of the mean folks in IDF who forced this course of action and not b/c Hamas wanted to violate the rules
4. It happened and its a good thing it happened

The folks who deny reality make all sorts of excuses and twist themselves into knots to avoid admitting the truth.

They will do what they have always done, ignore anything that goes against their religious belief that Jews are colonisers.

Hamas and too many ‘Palestinians’ look for Western news crews to do performance art. Especially Reuters news crews who will help the terrorists do retakes of staged ‘atrocities’ as needed.

US News isn’t much better. I know a American professor in Israel. Years ago when the Lebanon war started he was in Beirut filming an educational documentary. Obviously he could not continue with fighting going on everywhere,

CBS contracted with him to film footage of the fighting which he did. Dan Rather would report from Tel Aviv that here he was live in Beirut showing footage shot by the then young professor and his team. Dan Rather never even came close to the Lebanon border.

For those there it was indeed a terrible situation with rockets and mortar shells landing indiscriminately. He lost 40 pounds and had to come back to the states for a few months to recover. Dan Rather and CBS where about as honest and informed in their reporting as was Joe Biden’s account of his terrifying confrontation with Corn Pop.

Remember, various wire services, contractors, and UN personnel knew these sites were in these mosques and hospitals

Interesting, isn’t it, that all of these vile European dhimmis and American Dhimmi-crats whining about alleged Arab Muslim “Palestinian” casualties can’t acknowledge that if Hamas released its hostages and surrendered, the war in Gaza would be over.

Hamas will blow the hospital up when the IDF gets really close and blame it on Israel. I hope I’m wrong….

This must be true because the Hamas attacks have gotten more abundant today

Several hundred Christians murdered in Sudan yesterday by Muslims…. somehow not a big story anywhere

The Leftist/Dhimmi-crat media dutifully ignores and downplays Muslim supremacism and terrorism against non-Muslims, in line with standard practice to prevent the supremacist, totalitarian and belligerent ideology of “Submission,” and, its most fanatical adherents, from being cast in a negative light.

Muslims are alleged “victims” who can never be held responsible for their behavior and for their ideological choices.
