Capitol Police: Anti-Israel DNC Protesters “moved dumpsters in front of the exits, pepper sprayed our officers and attempted to pick up the bike rack”

Mostly peaceful? “24-year old Ruben Arthur Camacho of Woodbridge, NY, was arrested for Assault on a Police Officer after an officer witnessed Camacho slam another officer into a garage door and then punch the female officer in the face.”

After unhinged leftists attempted to breach the DNC headquarters in Washington, DC on Wednesday night, lots of people are wondering if we’re going to see any sort of investigation on par with what came after January 6th. No one is holding their breath, however.

The Capitol Police released this statement:

USCP Statement on the Unlawful Demonstration outside the DNC

Last night approximately 200 people gathered in front of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters to protest the conflict in the Middle East.

We have handled hundreds of peaceful protests, but last night’s group was not peaceful. The crowd failed to obey our lawful orders to move back from the DNC, where Members of Congress were in the building.

When the group moved dumpsters in front of the exits, pepper sprayed our officers and attempted to pick up the bike rack, our teams quickly introduced consequences – pulling people off the building, pushing them back, and clearing them from the area, so we could safely evacuate the Members and staff.

Six officers were treated for injuries, from minor cuts to being pepper sprayed to being punched.

24-year old Ruben Arthur Camacho of Woodbridge, NY, was arrested for Assault on a Police Officer after an officer witnessed Camacho slam another officer into a garage door and then punch the female officer in the face.

Last night our team was quick, decisive, courageous and in control.

When demonstrations cross the line into illegal activity it is our responsibility to maintain order and ensure people’s safety.

Bonchie of RedState says what many of us are thinking:

Let’s go over what’s admitted in that statement and then the final result. The USCP admits that the entire group of protesters helped foment of a violent riot in which numbers of them attempted to illegally block the exit of the DNC while members of Congress were trapped inside. The USCP also admits that the rioters refused to disperse when given a lawful command to do so. Lastly, the USCP admits that six officers were injured.

With all that in mind, the USCP made one arrest.

Keep in mind, this is the same law enforcement agency that helped track down every single person who was present on January 6th, including those who did nothing but meander around on the balcony taking selfies, not even knowing what was really happening. But when it comes to left-wing rioters endangering members of Congress, trespassing, and trying to storm a building as part of an attempt at political terrorism, only one person gets arrested.

Is there any better illustration of the two-tiered justice system?

One Democrat lawmaker said it was scarier than January 6th.

Breitbart News reported:

Lawmakers were evacuated from the headquarters and U.S. House office buildings were locked down due to the event, with one Democrat lawmaker telling Axios it “scared me more than January 6,” recounting that they were about to leave and return to the Capitol when police told them not to exit.

“Someone sent out word for people to come [back] and police said it’s not safe,” the lawmaker said. “Police were wearing gas masks … this was not peaceful.”

How many more times do ‘Democrats’ get a pass?

Unless Sandy O’Cortex was hiding under a desk in an adjacent building, crying crocodile tears and screaming INSURRECTION!!!, INSURRECTION!!!, it didn’t happen, no one will be prosecuted, no houses busted into in the dark of night, no wheelchair bound septuagenarian veteran will be shot, no children frightened by black clad gangbusters wielding those horrid black assault rifles.

Instead, a pat on the head, a slap on the wrist, and a sincere, “don’t slap our misgendered “female” officers where someone can see it.

Then.a hearty “THANKS” to the DNC brown shirts for putting on their DNC stage play.

Seriously, this goes on until young “Democrats” as a mob begin to take casualties. It took 4 dead at Kent State in 1970 to pretty much mark the ending of riots by Democrats then. Things began to seem more calm as the visual performances went underground, which can be more dangerous..

The Guardsmen were in the same predicament as the Boston Redcoats… including bricks being thrown at them. This was a time of arson and seizure of buildings (Eric Holder was one of them). The Left fashioned that beautifully… just like J6. Harsh? Yes… but not unexpected.

We see innocents being severely abused with civil or criminal prosecution, the process being the punishment.

Apply the same to rioters or groups blocking bridges, where the response is punishment. They need to suffer some pain in in order to learn how to conduct themselves.

Civil disobedience or insurrection ??

Double standards much ??

Our system of “justice” is truly one-sided. It makes me madder than sh*t.

The violence that occurred at Lafayette Square in 2021 and this latest crap from the radical left is far, far worse than anything that happened on January 6th — except, of course, for the murder of Ashli Babbitt.

Yet NOTHING will happen to any of these miscreants; it will all be swept quietly under the rug. Move along folks; there’s nothing to see here.

The revolution will not be televised.

The Revolution has already occurred, and it was televised. The KGB had their show trials, and those show trials continue now with state show trials.

The brown shirts are already attacking our cities. Jews are being killed on the streets instead of being put in cattle cars and led to slaughter.

Elderly veterans are being killed in their homes. Conservatives are being arrested for being conservatives

I hope the FBI is identifying them by their cell phones, and camera shots. They should be getting ready to raid their homes to arrest them to throw them in the DC gulag for years before they get a trial.

And that was snark for anybody who wonders. We all know nothing will happen, and the 1 person the arrested is probably out already.

This screams for a RICO prosecution. Coordinated, intentional mob violence, squeeze them until they give up their funders

Hey, a guy can dream, right?

But, you know, not even a little bit “insurrection-y”. 🙄

A century ago: “You probe with bayonets: if you find mush, you push. If you find steel, you withdraw”
― Vladimir Ilich Lenin

Nothing new, it’s just now. Again.

There are parallels to J6 here and differences.
-J6 was a collection of several thousand protesters/onlookers/rally attendees and a handful of instigators (motives unknown). This was just the instigators. Nobody attended this event with the intentions of cheering speeches and rallying with like-minded individuals in a peaceful manner.
-At this point in time (say around J7 or J8) there had been about the same number of arrests per capita, minus one unjustified shooting. Nobody knew at that time that the J6 participants, from the few instigators to the vast majority of attendees, were going to be pursued for the next three years across the country in a massive manhunt with 3AM SWAT raids. It had never happened before. God willing, it will never happen again.
-This is where the two events diverge. If the Dems are really scared by their lunatic fringe (as they should be), they should act accordingly by excluding the nuts from their midst and seeing them prosecuted in a sane and reasonable fashion. They won’t. They’ll either ignore this event or go full Stalin on the organizers.

Be happy. They did arrest ONE.

Was this different from J6? It was not on Capitol grounds but it also seemed much more violent and far more aggressive both in intent and in actions of the participants. If, or really when IMO, the ‘authorities’ fail to use the same sort of tools to ID, locate, investigate, arrest, charge and sentence these folks with the same vigor applied to the J6 folks it will be another example where the ideology of the actors outweighs all else and prosecutors invoke a clearly partisan ‘discretion’ to avoid damage to their fellow travellers.

The continual erosion of trust in our institutions will at some point cause a loss of respect for the basic authority of those institutions. I don’t think the DC establishment and the laptop class understand just how dangerous that world would be. In that very bad societal place the ‘authorities’ can issue EO, pass statutes and issue CT rulings but if the institutions no longer have the respect of the public then the public will ignore them as they see fit. Like Canute they will seek to command the tide which will ignore them. We should avoid such a dangerous result but I am not at all convinced that the establishment agrees with me on this point.

“The continual erosion of trust in our institutions will at some point cause a loss of respect for the basic authority of those institutions.”

    As Iowahawk said:

    1. Identify a respected institution.
    2. Kill it.
    3. Gut it.
    4. Wear it’s carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.

They don’t realize they get away with their shenanigans out of deference to the institutions they’re in. They think they are really above the institutions, and there’s no deference because they’re right.

Neither do they realize how much they depend on people’s self-chosen, cooperation.

How is it that the Capitol Police were protecting DNC HQ? That’s not a Federal building. Shouldn’t that have been the problem for DC PD to solve? Gonna guess that RNC HQ wouldn’t get the same protection.

The Capitol Police has primary jurisdiction within buildings and grounds of the United States Capitol Complex. It also has concurrent jurisdiction with other law enforcement agencies, including the United States Park Police and the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia, in an area of approximately 200 blocks around the complex.

The DNC and RNC are both directly across the street from the Capitol complex.

Additionally, they are charged with the protection of members of Congress, officers of Congress, and their families throughout the entire United States, its territories and possessions, and the District of Columbia. While performing protective functions, the Capitol Police have jurisdiction throughout the entire United States.[3] It is informally considered as the sister agency of the United States Secret Service, which itself is responsible for the protection of the United States President and their Cabinet.

It’s not that the left gets a free pass, it’s that Trump supporters in particular are targeted by the federal government.

You can tell right off that this group is new at this stuff. They could have burned the building down and killed at least two people with no fear of punishment. All they had to do was contact the BLM to find out how to do it!
