Anti-Israel Protesters Conquer And Occupy U. Michigan Administration Building

Anti-Israel protesters were allowed to ‘occupy’ the Ruthven Building on the campus of the University of Michigan on Friday night. Isn’t it fascinating that these people claim to oppose colonization, yet their first instinct always seems to be to invade and take over spaces?

Police eventually removed them but not before they made a spectacle of themselves.

MLive reports:

Pro-Palestine protestors force their way into University of Michigan administration building

Multiple police agencies were called to the University of Michigan campus late Friday afternoon as hundreds of pro-Palestine protesters entered the building housing the university president’s office.

Starting around 4 p.m., Nov. 17, at least 200 protesters rallied inside and outside the Ruthven Administration Building, 1109 Geddes Ave., protesting for the university to divest from Israel.

A number of the protesters gained access to the locked building, said University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security Deputy Chief Melissa Overton. However, all workers had left the building prior to this, university spokesman Rick Fitzgerald. said.

As of 8 p.m., police still were in the process of restoring order, Fitzgerald said.

Law enforcement agencies from across the county joined university police at the scene, including the Ann Arbor Police Department, Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, Eastern Michigan University Police Department, Michigan State Police and Pittsfield Department of Public Safety, Overton said.

According to CBS News in Detroit, these were the usual suspects:

Student protestors take over Ruthven Building on University of Michigan campus

A Palestinian advocacy group protested Friday on the University of Michigan’s campus, entering the Ruthven Building.

Members of the Students Allied for Freedom and Equality (SAFE) and a coalition of 45 other student organizations rallied on campus beginning at 3 p.m., calling for the university to divest from companies they say contributed to the crisis in Gaza…

SAFE is the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at U of M.

This was a hostile takeover. See the video clips below:

They look very upset about being “ticketed” don’t they?

A lovely chant at the end here.

This is going to continue and spread to other schools until it is stopped.

Chanting “pigs go home”….good Lord, 1967 has come back again. The cops were “Israeli trained”? If so, you probably wouldn’t be there very long..

1967-style exhibitionism and commie indoctrination never went away. It simply festered, grew and adapted itself to today’s worldview.

Correct. Other things filled in the years since the USSR died. Environment was one item that could take many directions, especially anti capitalism.

With the Democrats having their convention in Chicago, I suspect it’s going to feel a lot like 1968 this summer.

Wonder if some enterprising individual will make up t-shirts to sell to the Chicage LEOs saying “My grandfather beat up your grandfather in ’68.”

We need a few Kent State incidents to educate these punks. Then the rest should be expelled. Maybe we should bring back chain gangs?

Ban them from campus. Only permit them to take internet courses. If they step foot on campus again, trespass them and expel them.

Check for student visas. Criminal activity is grounds for cancelling the visa and deportation

Do you seriously believe the Biden administration is going to move to deport anyone? They won’t even deport violent convicted criminals, much less their fellow travelers.

Florida legislators have a better solution (pending legislation): students supporting recognized international terrorist organizations like Hamas would be ineligible for any state aid or funding, and state schools would be prohibited from providing any to them.

So scholarships, stipends, employment on campus, student loan eligibility, in-state tuition rates, etc., at state schools would get yanked from these clowns.

Do that and radical chic starts to carry some serious financial costs.

How about accidentally deporting some citizens, I am trying to think like a Dem.

Non-negotiable demands are back!

Wayne Booth says his 60s job as dean at U Chicago was fund raising and riot control.

A coalition of 46 student organizations only managed to come up with “at least 200″activists and from the pics it looks like a lot less than 200.

Methinks someone is padding the stats.

If this had been conservative or Jewish or a combination of conservatives and Jews there would have been mass arrests.

So, a bunch of mindless leftist automatons with bullhorns make prize fools of themselves, and this helps “the cause” how? I’d bet a C note that the majority of these ignorant dipshits couldn’t even locate Gaza on a world map.

Anti-Israel Protesters Colonize U. Michigan Administration Building

Yeah, I’m inclined to let them keep U of M. Just wall it off like that terrorist welfare camp in Gaza.

Time to start calling them what they are, anti-Israel brown shirts or pro-Hamas brown shirts. Take your pick.

Just saw this: “Three in four Palestinians support Hamas’s massacre.”

https://www.jns.org/three-in-four-palestinians-support-hamass-massacre/

These people sure make it hard to feel sorry for them.

    I think it is higher

Remember Thad Jarvis, who appears to still lurk and down vote people over it’s hurt feelings? Muslims aren’t bad, …..until their numbers increase, as their % increases they become increasingly obnoxious, as we have been seeing with Gaza. There should not be relief or pause until they are begging for peace, unconditional surrender.

Students occupy headquarters. It’s a own goal.

Maher then added, “It’s so interesting, they did a poll of the people who live in the area [in the words of] the saying from the river to the sea, in other words, Israeli Arabs, they don’t want to live under Hamas. 77% of them said, no thanks. We’re living in Israel. It’s way better than living under a terrorist group. Why don’t you teach that at college?”

In California, my home state, me and my wife lived next to an Israeli Arab family that legally migrated to the USA. They still had family in Israel and said that Israel had Jews, Arabs, and Christians as citizens and they said there were no issues. Me and my wife later moved to the east coast due to business with our sons.

Marxist Seminaries are only to blame, hopefully a few faculty joined them.

Between their football program imploding and Hamas taking over a building that University is having a very bad week
