Jewish College Students Describe ‘Hostile Environment’ Created on Campus by Pro-Hamas Students and Faculty

“The biggest problem has really been the fact that student organizations have cropped up on campus that are largely spewing this antisemitic rhetoric.”

Jewish college students across the country are now having to witness acts of support for Hamas on campus. For years now, left-wing students have used claims of feeling ‘unsafe’ on campus to silence opinions they don’t like. In the case of these Jewish students, I believe them when they say they feel unsafe.

It is disgusting that this is being allowed to happen.

FOX News just interviewed three students about their experience and it’s maddening:

Jewish college students say they’re scared to go to class, blame universities for silence on antisemitism

As anti-Israel protests continue to erupt at colleges across the U.S., Jewish students are pushing back against universities allegedly turning a blind eye to antisemitism on their campuses.

“As soon as the terrorist attacks occurred, it became a hostile environment for Jewish students,” Julia Wax, a Georgetown University law student, told FOX News on Tuesday.

“People are scared to go to class. You have to sit next to classmates who are posting antisemitic rhetoric, who are promoting rallies that spew antisemitic rhetoric. People are scared, and the universities are not doing their part, and they’re not stepping up, and they’re staying silent.”

Responding to the upheaval, Wax founded a Zionist group on campus to give Jewish students a place to go and to understand their heritage. One of her best friends is on the front lines of the conflict, she said, and the Jewish students at the university are all tied to the conflict in the Holy Land in some way…

Michael Korvyakov, a freshman at Georgetown, told “FOX & Friends” host Lawrence Jones that he has been witnessing similar rhetoric, including claims that some Hamas-led atrocities, including the beheading of babies, never happened.

“The biggest problem has really been the fact that student organizations have cropped up on campus that are largely spewing this antisemitic rhetoric. We had a rally a week ago in favor of Hamas. It was a Palestinian martyrs basically rally,” he said.

Watch the video below:

Here are some examples of what these students are talking about.

This is the University of Washington.

This is UW-Madison.

UCLA.

Harvard.

Keep this in mind the next time left-wing students claim they need a safe space because a conservative is speaking on campus.

It is hard to believe how Jewish students are being treated. The mask has been pulled back and evil is on display for all to see.

Meanwhile Lawrence Jones, reporting for Fox News, strongly urges everyone in the US to unite behind Biden and support him.

Yes, that Biden—who is currently in Israel—where Hamas has just raped, murdered, burned alive women and children, cut heads off babies, including Americans—and Biden just cannot bring himself to call them terrorists. Or even the enemy. No. No. No. He calls them “the other team”..

Why do you find it hard to believe? We’ve know that the campuses are leftist trash heaps for a couple of decades now, and the problem has only accelerated with time. You can be a leftist, or you can be a good person. You cannot do both.

I find it hard to believe that leftists would treat their fellow Democrats in such a manner. As you say this has been going on for decades:

“American Jews tend to favor Democratic candidates, with 71% of Jewish voters choosing Democratic candidates on average and 26% choosing Republicans since 1968.”

They complain, but they probably won’t change. That’s what I find hard to believe.

The news is reporting that a large Jewish group (Democrats no doubt) is at the US Capitol calling for a ceasefire so that Hamas can regroup and attack Israel another day and kill even more Jews the next time.

      They never learn.

Peabody. Don’t you get it…. this is what Biden wants a war rally in the poles…Biden wants this war and wants USA right in the middle of it.

Its the only way he can win the election.

Well, Biden is doing his best to get us involved. Kamala is really excited because she’s next in line. Sometimes she sneaks into the Oval Office in the middle of the night and sits behind the desk and takes selfies.

The groups must be identified with names that accurately state their positions: Students for Justice in Palestine must be called by its real wish — Students for Pogroms in Israel. Jewish Voices for Peace should be called Lambs Hoping To Be Slaughtered Last.

Sue the school. They let these groups exist on campus.

Tell the college administrators that all Jews are trans. See who they support then, or if their heads just explode.

I wonder if these woke Jewish students understand they are hoist on their own woke petard.

Arab money is funding these HAMAS students, along with other sources.

“Remember NORMAL?” (h/t Chris Plante) | October 18, 2023 at 11:56 am

Hey kiddies, welcome to the real world.

If you have any common sense at all, you will accept reality, you will withdraw from leave these colleges , and then you will reassess your life options.

Reminder: Many probably most of your grandparents or great grandparents came to America only because of changed realities in their home countries.

Consider working for a year or two or three.

Consider learning attending college in a country where they don’t have a history of slaughtering Jewish people. Yes you’ll need to learn their language. Yes it’s a challenge to learn say Korean or Japanese or Thai or Azerbaijani or IDK. However, others have done it: It can be done.

Consider asking Ronald Lauder to help fund you.

Consider spending a year or two in Israel making yourself part of the solution, instead of spending your time whining and complaining and complaining and whining. Jeeez.

But above all: Grow up.

When large gatherings of fellow Students and Faculty are calling for other Students to be killed based on their membership in a group and not on anything that particular Student has done the Students under the threats of death and/or harm shouldn’t speak up about it?

In a civil society we alert the ‘authorities’ instead of taking direct actions ourselves to remove the threat when possible. When you tell them not to do so you are in fact telling them that the basics of a functional civil society no longer apply. That in turn frees the Students to resolve the issue as they see fit which is going to result in anarchy.

      Are you trolling?

So what you’re advocating is for college students to continue to pay to attend a college where they are treated poorly — including physical intimidation?

CommoChief in reply to Hippo Squaw. | October 18, 2023 at 3:00 pm

Nah I’m advocating for the supposedly grown up administration to hold accountable those Students, Faculty and employees who advocate for violence against others and in particular those who align themselves with Hamas. Not for nothing but it is arguably illegal for any Visa holder or ‘DACA Dreamer’ to do this crap. You seem to want to give them a pass. Why?

Do you apply the same sort of moral cowardice logic to the rest of your life? Do you encourage people not to call the cops if criminals target them? Do you tell victims/potential victims that THEY are the problem and the only solution is to flee? Eff that.

Any University administration not doing so should be cut off from any public funding. The alumni should stop donations. Big Ed understands one thing power and money is definitely power.

It’s about time American Jews woke up to the anti-sematism on campuses, hiding behind pro-Palestinian groups. And these are leftist students, leftist groups operating on leftist college campuses. And anymore, seems all campuses are leftist strongholds. Today’s eager reaction to the bombing of a Palestinian hospital – surely it was israel! – reflects current attitudes amont the elite. You think Biden is supporting Israel??? I think the hypocrite is just responding to polls. He’s be just as happy if Israel disappeared from the face of the earth.

This is not a new development, you’d think they’d be used to it by now.

If these students are not US citizens they should have their visas revoked and be deported. Any non US citizen advocating for violence against Jews or Americans should have their residence status revoked and be deported as well.

Clearly our current administration would not carry out such an action but it would be worthwhile to shine a light on their priorities. It is insane that we as a nation would invite into our country and our elite universities people who celebrate murder, rape and terror of all types, A push back against the insanity will not stop it immediately but eventually it very likely will prevail.

The reality is there are all kinds of militants on college campuses today who feel enabled and empowered to shout-down people with whom they disagree. Try being a pro-life student on just about any college campus and participating in some kind of demonstration, presuming such a demonstration would even be allowed. You would be amazed at the behavior of the other side. It often turn very aggressive, sometimes even violent.

We have raised a generation who have never been told no, never been told they were wrong and rewarded them just for showing up. When that kind of entitlement meets cultural bigotry against a group of people that their parents and grandparents have told them are inhuman ‘colonizers’, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that this is the result.
