Whistleblower: CIA Tried to Bribe Analysts to Cover Up COVID Lab Leak Findings

“The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position.”

A senior-level CIA whistleblower claimed the agency tried to bribe him and other analysts to bury findings about COVID spreading from a Wuhan lab leak.

Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner told CIA Director William Burns:

A multi-decade, senior-level, current Agency officer has come forward to provide information to the Committees regarding the Agency’s analysis into the origins of COVID-19. According to the whistleblower, the Agency assigned seven officers to a COVID Discovery Team (Team). The Team consisted of multi-disciplinary and experienced officers with significant scientific expertise. According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. The seventh member of the Team, who also happened to be the most senior, was the lone officer to believe COVID-19 originated through zoonosis. The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position.

They want Burns to turn over:

1. All documents and communications regarding the establishment of all iterations of the COVID Discovery Team(s);

2. All documents and communications between or among the members of all iterations of the COVID Discovery Team(s) regarding the origins of COVID-19;

3. All documents and communications between or among members of all iterations of the COVID Discovery Team(s) and other employees or contractors of the Agency regarding the origins of COVID-19;

4. All documents and communications between or among members of all iterations of the COVID Discovery Team(s) and employees or contractors of other federal government agencies, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of State, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (to include the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases), and the U.S. Department of Energy regarding the origins of COVID-19; and

5. All documents and communications regarding the pay history, to include the awarding of any type of financial or performance-based incentive/financial bonus to members of all iterations of the COVID Discovery Team(s).

The congressmen also sent a letter to Andrew Makridis, the CIA’s former chief operating officer.

Wenstrup identified Makridis as someone who “played a central role in” the formation of the CIA’s COVID Discovery Team.

Wenstrup invited Makridis to “participate in a voluntary transcribed interview on September 26, 2023.”

I believe the whistleblower. A lab leak would get in the way of the leftist agenda to make COVID sound natural, giving them an upper hand to make a big deal about any other emerging virus.

Oh, who am I kidding?! Truth never stopped them!

Everything has always pointed to a lab leak as the cause of COVID. Who knows what goes on in any lab in the world? It was bound to happen.

The thing is, was it intentional or a legit accident?

The glorious Leslie has always been on top of COVID stories, including a lab leak. She was among the few who first suggested a lab leak as a possible cause.

Why are they so frantic to cover their tracks on this? Not a good look. One could conclude that they are in big trouble if the truth came out. You know you’re over the target when you’re getting lots of flak

    You know you’re over a target.

    “A lab leak would get in the way of the leftist agenda to make COVID sound natural”
    Nah, I’m thinking it’s time to change tinfoil hats.
    Sure, you could interpret this as the CIA trying to cover NIH’s ass.
    But isn’t it more likely at this point that this whole fiasco was CIA’s to begin with?
    Who was growing all those poppies and hauling all that cocaine? It wasn’t the DEA.

      I think as you do that this is the government covering its own derriere. Remember, it was Faux-xi’s own NIAID that ultimately financed the research that lead to the Wu-flu. Can you imagine the uproar that would have occurred at the time if that were public knowledge?

        Well, my observation was to obsolete that.
        We all got used to the scenario where Fauci was covering his own ass for contracting weaponization overseas that he was forbidden to conduct domestically. Now I’m beginning to suspect that the weaponization project was actually the CIA’s baby, and Fauci just handled the paperwork

I am shocked that those involved never thought that the truth would eventually come out – especially as it always does in science. Just another example of the arrogance present.

Tried?
There is no “try.” There is only “do” or “not do.”
And they definitely doed it. They got at least one guy to rewrite things.

Wow, I’m so surprised that the dishonest, corrupt government is doing these sort of dishonest, corrupt things.

Now do “inflation”.

We are lost as a nation.

This whole thing seems weird. Executive branch agencies do not typically offer financial bribes to employees. They threaten them with loss of employment and loss of pension, which is why I have been screaming for 401(k) instead of pensions for federal employees.

Getting back to the crux, if a Chinese laboratory released the COVID virus, which I think is pretty much indisputable at this point, and for which I have been saying for years, then there is a cause of action that can be brought against them in the Hague.

America lost $trillions. The planet lost much more. Bring them to trial and make them pay.

Erronius

The CIA has had plenty of practice to perfect the art of treason.
Kennedy wasn’t their first hit.

They’re probably laughing thinking if you only knew what we really did (do).

The question we ought to be asking the WH and the Biden Administration is where is the movie?

The truth about the origins of Covid to the present day masking mandated are dark. Millions of people died from COVID-19 worldwide and there is no documentary or film out yet to tell the story?

There were four or five movies made in record time slamming Trump. And released while he was still in office.

The absence of a movie about COVID-19 is telling. It’s about a cover-up

Axiom: When people, including scientists & “experts,” are paid to make a certain finding, they will find a way to keep finding what gets them paid.
