Trump Responds to Indictment: ‘The Whole World is Laughing at the United States’

“And what about those Indictment Documents put out today, long before the Grand Jury even voted, and then quickly withdrawn? Sounds Rigged to me! Why didn’t they Indict 2.5 years ago? Because they wanted to do it right in the middle of my political campaign. Witch Hunt!”

Fulton County, GA, officials dropped and unsealed the indictment against President Donald Trump on Monday night.

Trump faces 13 charges. There were 18 others indicted as well, with 41 counts in all.

Trump told Fox News Digital:

“Nineteen people were indicted, and the whole world is laughing at the United States as they see how corrupt and horrible a place it has turned out to be under the leadership of Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump told Fox News Digital during an exclusive interview late Monday night.

“The racist and corrupt district attorney of Fulton County, which has turned out to be a murder capital of the world with among the highest violent crime levels anywhere in our country, just opened a fundraising site in order to benefit off the things she most campaigned on, ‘I will get Donald Trump,’” he said, slamming Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Trump told Fox News Digital that this “is a continuation of the greatest and longest-running Witch Hunt in American history.”

“This politically-inspired indictment, which could have been brought close to three years ago, was tailored for placement right smack in the middle of my political campaign, where I am leading all Republicans—by a lot—and beating Joe Biden soundly in almost all polls,” he said.

Trump blasted Willis, saying that it is “not even conceivable that a person with such a record of failure could be allowed to interrupt perhaps the most important election in the history of our country.

“Just like she has allowed Atlanta to go to hell with all of its crime and violence, so too has Joe Biden allowed the United States of America to go to the same place with millions of people invading our country, inflation, bad economy, no energy, and lack of respect all over the world,” he said.

Trump said that Willis “should focus on the people that rigged the 2020 presidential election, not those who demand an answer as to what happened.”

Trump also responded on Truth Social:

So, the Witch Hunt continues! 19 people Indicated tonight, including the former President of the United States, me, by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, “I will get Trump.” And what about those Indictment Documents put out today, long before the Grand Jury even voted, and then quickly withdrawn? Sounds Rigged to me! Why didn’t they Indict 2.5 years ago? Because they wanted to do it right in the middle of my political campaign. Witch Hunt!

We are lost as a nation, with the demonic mainstream press only accelerating our demise. China approves, not a shot fired.

Never mind Crooked Joe, what about the man with a clouded past? The one with a questionable birth certificate? Sealed college records? And more. You know, the one who promised to transform America? Maybe that guy is just a puppet, too, but his fingerprints are on this as well. The Globalists, Marxists, and their useful idiots the media and half the hypnotized (thanks to Big Pharma) voters are all complicit in this authoritarian-led coup that is taking place in slow motion.

What is the end game here? Is a judge going to sentence the presidential nominee of one of the two major parties to prison during a presidential campaign? What if the election has already occurred? What if he lost? What if he won? Is there a judge who will sentence the president to jail?

I cannot conceive of any way in which all of the cases against Trump proceed at the same time and before the election. I really can’t figure out the resolution.

With all due respect, I don’t think you have been paying attention. There are many, many judges that will sentence Trump to jail. It is a foregone conclusion that Trump will be found guilty in one, if not more, of these indictments and he will be sentenced to jail Bank on it.

It’s up to SCOTUS to save him from jail time. There’s a very good chance they will, but it’s not totally certain.

A judge need not wait for a guilty verdict and can send Trump to jail while waiting trial (aka denying bail). Is that “legal”? Sure is, all the judge needs to say is I think he’s a flight risk since he has his own 757 and can go anywhere in the world. Doesn’t matter if Trump has no intention of doing it.

How long can he be jailed? Well, some of the J6 political prisoners were in jail over a year.

Bail can be denied under two circumstances:

        1. Flight risk, which you mentioned, and the notion is absurd.
        2. Danger to society or himself, which is again, an absurd notion.

Did I not read an article, just last week, where the “flight risk” thing was actually deployed?

          1. is it absurd. Rich man on the hook for many crimes with overwhelming evidence. If anything the opposite is absurd
          2. He has already demonstrated he is dangerous whipping up morons to do stupid things

My point is that a judge is going to blink. Imagine a judge sentencing Trump to prison. Do you think he’s going to report? No, he’s going to go the Mar a Lago and 10,000 supporters are going to surround the place. Then what? Judges typically don’t issue orders they can’t enforce because it undermines their authority. So, who will blink? Trump or a judge? I just don’t see a judge actually telling Trump to report to prison.

If someone in the Judiciary doesn’t stand up, we will see a strong movement to defund the Judiciary just like the FBI.

While I like the concept of Trump supporters surrounding his Mar-A-Lago estate to protect him against a corrupt justice system, it will not happen.

I’d say that with Roberts in charge, there is zero chance that SCOTUS will do a thing,…remember The Chief Justice is afraid of lefty rioters

One numeral and one letter will put a stop to this tyranny, just as the founders intended.
The sad part is the actual threat having to be dragged out for the first time in 240 years.

America used to be the oasis of sanity and freedom to which the world looked to for leadership and help. Now our freedoms, wealth, principles, and sanity, are dissolving for all to see. Who does the world now turn to for help? Who do we turn to? If we don’t fix this, then no one will. Imagine the world if we should fail.

They are imagining it, and they’ve been telling us for how long now. That’s what “the great reset” is all about. “You’ll own nothing and be happy,” dammit, because with the US out of the way, the globalists will have free reign.

The never trumpers are blind to it all. They don’t care that there was fraud. They want him gone, so they can continue their corruption with the indoctrinated brainwashed nodding their heads in approval.

Trump is 100% right. And America, as we know it from a short while ago, hangs in the balance. The world may be laughing at us, but it’s no laughing matter for us.

They got a jury of liberal Trump haters to indict. BIG DEAl. the fan gets hit in the court.

Perhaps President Trump should change his name to “Ham Sandwich.”

Yes but for multiple reasons…that’s what Trump doesn’t get.

Kangaroo Court #4, totally set up by Marxists

@Trump Yes … they’re laughing at America … but they’re also laughing at you jack-off. You could have been better … and if you weren’t such a supreme jerk … you and us might not be in this mess.

What I find even more scary than Trump’s charges are all of his lawyers being charged. That is not a mistake, efforts to strip Trump of any legal representation by threatening disbarment of his lawyers has been happening for years, and major law firms have already responded to such threats by withdrawing existing representation or refusing future representation. I believe is a twofold attack: first, by sending a message to anyone else Trump might ask to represent him that they could be next, and by making it possible to break privilege.
