This is a speedy trial, not as speedy as the prosecution wanted (January 2), but much sooner than Trump wanted (April 2026). Trump lawyer: “We will not be able to provide adequate representation…. [The] trial date will deny President Trump the opportunity to have effective assistance of counsel.”

Donald Trump’s trial in the D.C. District Court on the indictment for attempting to overturn the 2020 election has been set by the Judge after a hearing this morning for March 4, 2024, the day before Super Tuesday.

The railroad must run on time. Judge Chutkan is really pushing for a spot on the Supreme Court. We should really purchase the judge an engineer hat or perhaps thirteen of them so the jury has some to wear also.

The jury has likely already been told how to vote, at risk of being doxxed at the very least, or a SWAT raid on “the wrong house” that ends in smashed possessions, killed pets, and terrorized children.

“trial date will deny President Trump the opportunity to have effective assistance of counsel.”

another appealable issue for Trump

Will an appeal in progress delay the trial, or can Chutkan start in March?

The defense has more of a say than the Star Chamber. Yes, I work the system for years.

Not political at all

The left apparently has zero problems going full steam ahead even though they know that any decision they get will be overturned long after it matters.

It sounds good for Trump, as far as the primary election goes.

Transparently transparent the judge is.

She pointed out that lawyers would be reviewing available materials even before the charges were brought. Mr. Lauro explained that he wasn’t yet President Trump’s lawyer back then

well, at least this makes the Stewart Swinton wing of the GOP happy

What happened to the motion for a new judge? She has a bit of history on record showing bias. Is his counsel going to do nothing?

I find it puzzling for anyone to call this a trial. It’s just as ridiculous as stating that Trump is involved in “Legal Battles”.

Any reason the Trial cannot be slated for the week after the Super Tuesday primaries? I thought so.

People say we shouldn’t litigate the last election. That’s okay if one wants to accept that we no longer have elections.

The last election was stolen, to let the stealing go is to let the stealing continue and increase.

If you don’t believe the last election was stolen, please consider the following bare-bones outline

Certain

–Russia Collusion Investigation
—-DOJ/Obama Admin/CIA/ (Rice, McCabe, Comey, BruceNellie Ohr, Stroczk, Obama, Biden and too many others)
—-Hillary/Perkins Coie/Fusion GPS/CrowdStrike

–DOJ/Admin lying about Biden Family Corruption/Biden Laptop
—-DOJ suppression on media, amplifying fake Russia Disinfo with media
—-DOJ slow walk buries hunter+biden family corruption

–Fauci/CDC/NIAAH Lying about covid origins
—-Lying about evidence of lab origin
—-Lying about gain of function research
—-Democrat Governors changing rules – mail in ballots, no ballot verification
—-Perkins Coie lawsuits with DNC and Democrat officials collusion

–Biden Ukraine Corruption inverted to Trump impeachment
—-CIA (Eric Ciarmello/State Department (Nuland/Chalupa)/Pentagon

Highly Likely (significant compelling evidence)

–Illegal major Ballot harvesting inner city – Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Detroit, Atlanta
–Ballot registration fraud, multiple cities

One can ignore the ballot machines/Dominion jibber-jabber and still understand that this was a massive election theft by cheating

Yay, I got two downvotes — one from DOJ, one from FBI

I LOVE PEOPLE WHO DOWNVOTE THE TRUTH!

    We have 2 doors here:

    Door 1
    Don’t litigate the last election
Say goodbye to free and fair elections, hello one party rule

    Door 2
    Litigate the last election
Stand a chance of future free/fair elections

You may wish we had different choices, but reality doesn’t care what you wish.

Hey you downvoters, why don’t you try to refute ANYTHING I wrote above? C’mon man!

I hate to tell you downvoters, downvoting doesn’t alter reality.

Downvoting reality makes you look silly and childish. Your argument isn’t with me, it is with reality.

Nice Kangaroo Court she has going, she is on the side of the prosecution and out to screw DJT out of a real trial.

will deny President Trump the opportunity to have effective assistance of counsel

Exactly the point, isn’t it? As was the mass arrests of his former lawyers. No lawyer thinking about representing Trump can be unaware of the message being sent.

The message being sent by the timing of the trial opening date is as bright as a supernova.

Kind of scaring off other lawyers for him and his co-defendants

How is it that this obviously biased so-called Judge is not already disqualified?

Hey, ‘professor’, are you still going to be running articles telling us how much the left WANTS Trump to be the nominee?

Telling us that their going after him, his lawyers, anyone who defends him and his ability to be on the ballot is because they know they can beat him?

Or are you finally going to admit that you were wrong?
