Nothing To See Here: Fins To The Left, Fins To The Right, Corruption All Around

And other things the media under-reported last week.

The Democrat hacktivist media has had a tough week. They’ve worked their tiny little hearts and shriveled little souls hard to ignore, downplay, divert from, and employ every trick in their extensive anti-America playbook to try to keep The Narrative chugging along unhindered by reality.

Joe “I am the Democratic Party” Biden’s response to the catastrophic woke-caused fires in Hawaii is being downplayed and danced around by a drooling, fawning media who lambasted Trump for far less egregious responses to various crises.

It’s just what they do as an arm of the Democratic Party–it’s their job to bolster Democrats and bash Republicans.

The partisan corruption that permeates the DOJ was on full display last week; the Democrat hactivists averted their eyes. Of course.

The Washington Examiner reports:

A former FBI agent corroborated claims from two IRS whistleblowers about the advance notice Hunter Biden’s legal team was given of an upcoming attempt to get an interview with him in California.

That former agent said Joe Biden’s transition team was notified by someone at the Justice Department about plans to surprise witnesses across the country with simultaneous interviews on Dec. 8, 2020, just days after Hunter Biden received Secret Service protection as a result of his father winning the election.

High-level FBI officials also thwarted a plan to notify the local Los Angeles branch of the Secret Service at 8 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 8 that an IRS investigator and FBI agent would be coming by Hunter Biden’s home to speak with him later that morning. Instead, the former agent confirmed, Secret Service headquarters, not the local office, received an advance warning the evening of Dec. 7.

The DC judge overseeing Trump’s J6 trial appears to be a completely woke and very activist Democrat who has made statements that call her ability to rule without bias into serious question.

Rep. Matt Gaetz called on Congress to review her sentencing of the J6 political prisoners.

Fox News reports:

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., is calling on Congress to investigate Judge Tanya Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, accusing her of conducting her court with open bias and partisanship in handling the cases of people linked to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Chutkan is also the judge overseeing the U.S. government’s case against former President Trump for allegedly attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Before that, she made headlines for dealing out sentences to members of the Jan. 6 crowd that were higher than those recommended by federal prosecutors. In his resolution, Gaetz also accused her of supporting the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, some of which were violent, while at the same time openly criticizing the Capitol riot.

If a Republican wins the 2024 presidential election, he must immediately begin a review of every single J6 conviction and sentence and start handing out pardons like candy. This is all so far beyond the pale that it make me physically ill. It’s truly a shameful episode in our nation’s history and one of the most distressing signs of our country’s sharp decline.

Daily Mail: “ALAN DERSHOWITZ: Al Gore, his legal team and I tried to find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied officials and fought in the courts in 2000. The only difference now? The candidate’s name is Donald Trump…That’s why this prosecution is an outrage”

No one in Washington DC is doing anything about it, but in Georgia, a state senator is.

And Kristi Noem is not pleased.

This guy . . . ugh.

As you may have discerned from my post about the reaction mash-up to Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond,” I am obsessed with watching reaction videos to this song. There are, it seems, thousands of them on YouTube, and I’ve seen a good number of them (realistically probably about 50).

This one struck a chord with me, in particular, because this woman lives in Nigeria, and at one point, she says that she is devastated about what is happening in America because so many people are trying to leave her country to come here. But if there is no hope in America, there is none anywhere in the world. It’s poignant. I cued this video to that section, but watch the whole thing, she’s really passionate about the topics raised by this amazing song’s message.

Wait. So Hutchison signed the pledge and then reneged? How can he participate in the debate? Bad move, Fox.

Just tossing this out there in relation to the listed events over the last week or so: “What does it take to constitute government legitimacy? Societal legitimacy?”

The fact she was nominated tells you everything about this administration.

Oliver has a fine voice, but I’ve never really liked folk protest songs. That said, it’s amazing how many young people seem truly touched by the song – and that it crosses racial and ethnic boundaries. Young people are reacting to Vivek Ramaswamy in much the same way (no weeping). And a subset seem to be reviewing old videos of Thomas Sowell and Martin Friedman etc. All of it has led me to think there’s a New Centrist Mass Movement forming – genuine in nature – and not a astroturfed Marxist front.

Hope is Kindled.

Will anyof the debate participants demand that Asa be remived for violkating the pledge to support the nominee? Will any of them make a point of this flagrant violation and demand he be removed from the stage? I doubt it. They are ALL hypocrites and this debate will demonstrate that obvious fact.

I disagree. For the individual candidate to whine and complain about a rule that some haven’t endorsed with any enthusiasm, to me that would come across as petty. The rule makes no sense since it makes a person agree on who they will vote for. I’m surprised that more of them have not agreed to it out of principle. The villain here is McDaniels and she needs to be fired.
