Hunter Biden’s Lawyer Claims WhatsApp Message at Center of Investigation is Fake

“All the innuendo and bluster that Biden family lawyers can summon will not change the facts.”

A lawyer representing Hunter Biden is saying that the controversial WhatsApp message at the center of the House Republican investigation is not real.

Where have we heard this before? Didn’t they tell us that the laptop was a fake too?

NBC News reports:

Hunter Biden attorney says WhatsApp message cited by Republicans is fake

An attorney for Hunter Biden says purported screenshots of a text message from Hunter Biden to a potential Chinese business partner where he refers to Joe Biden — a message that has been the subject of intense scrutiny following statements made by an IRS whistleblower — are “not real and contain myriad of issues.”

Abbe Lowell, who is one of Hunter Biden’s attorneys, made the statement in a letter to Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has interviewed the whistleblowers. The letter was obtained by NBC News.

IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley told the committee under oath that, as an investigator for the IRS, he obtained messages Hunter Biden sent on the WhatsApp platform, including one in 2017 that he read demanding payment from a Chinese businessman named Henry Zhao.

In the message, Shapley said, Biden appeared to suggest that he was sitting with his father, then the former vice president, saying, “I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”

Gary Shapely’s legal team has fired back:

Read their full statement here.

This is the important part:

“All the innuendo and bluster that Biden family lawyers can summon will not change the facts. Lawful whistleblowing is the opposite of illegal leaking, and these bogus accusations against SSA Shapley by lawyers for the Biden family echo threatening emails sent by IRS leadership after the case agent also blew the whistle to the IRS Commissioner about favoritism in this case—as well as the chilling report that Biden attorneys have also lobbied the Biden Justice Department directly to target our client with criminal inquiry in further retaliation for blowing the whistle. These threats and intimidation have already been referred earlier this week to the inspectors general for DOJ and the IRS, and to Congress for further investigation as potential obstruction of their lawful inquiries as well as retaliation against our client.”

Alan Dershowitz calls the WhatsApp message “very incriminating.”

It looks like all of this is getting to old Joe.

From MSN:

‘Hands off my Family’: Joe Biden Refuses to Acknowledge Political Risk Stemming from Hunter’s Reputation

According to reports, White House aides attempting to address the “damning evidence” surrounding Hunter’s business deals, along with its political impact have done nothing but enrage Joe Biden.

The ongoing disagreement between President Biden and his aides regarding the “optics” of the situation is causing friction.

NBC News reports that those close to Biden have given up trying to explain the potential political consequences to him, even in the most delicate manner.

“This is the reality of their family ethos,” said a person allegedly close to the president.

Will this be what causes Biden to step away from the 2024 race?

HB’s message reads, “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.”

Is Lowell conceding then that his client is a liar when he said his father was with him but wasn’t in fact with him?

That of course impeaches HB’s credibility.

In any event there’s an exception to the hearsay rule that holds that records made in the course of business can be admitted into evidence along with the admissions against interests contained in those records (even if that business is shaking down the ChiComms).

Burden of dis-proof then shifts to the opposing party.

So if the message is fake, that removes one straw from the camel; not the whole load….

Liberal playbook: When you’re caught claim it’s Russian interference.

Hunter is an artist of international renown and a national treasure. His genius and sensitive temperament must be closely guarded, so we cannot hold him to ordinary standards. He transcends all that.

Joe Biden made his children what they are, both genetically and through an upbringing worse than Trayvon Martin’s. He ruined his children.

“‘Hands off my Family’: Joe Biden”

So, in the spirit of classic “Ginger or Maryann?” debate, I pose:
      “Hunter: Sonny or Fredo?”

Of course he says it’s fake. What else was he supposed to do?

What’s concerning is that anyone would take him seriously when he does so.

It’s a mistake to prosecute. The American public believes that
1. If you win an election by fraud not detected at once, you won.
2. If you’re a politician shaking people down for money, that’s normal business.

It’s believed as an unwritten rule, and violating the rule is one way to discover that it’s a rule. You lose support.

The reason that the rule comes into being is that it’s needed for stability of the system, and the system comes first, to take justification route.

You get more of the behavior you reward, not less. That’s how we got to having the failing system that we do now.

What needs to be done is to take them to the most public trial and harshest penalty possible under the law

    por encourager las autres.

The finality of the election is more important than who won. Trump found that out in 2020 when half his support on the right dropped away. Trump believed who won was more important.

No, the stability of the system depends on finality, that the vote outcome be the decision. Gore screwed that up in 2000 as well.

The only thing Democrats care about is control of power. They don’t give a rats ass how they hang on to it as long as they can hang on to it. Weaponising the Chinese death pox to keep people home, sure no problem. Getting the Executives to change election laws how ever they see fit, absolutely. Allowing people to vote without any form of control, why not. Resurrecting the dead, hallelujah. The ends justifies the means.

From my perspective, it looks like the Biden Clan has committed treason on a grand scale. The problem appears to be widespread.

        Once again:
Trump: All the investigations, none of the evidence.
Biden: All of the evidence, none of the investigations.

I’m assuming the downvotes are from the sarcasm impaired.

Nixon got it right in 1960, conceding an election that he knew he won.

Come on, it’s supposed to be a Russian Collusion hoax idiot, don’t you get the memos or are you gaslighting for a new meme?

What’s more probable, a of team IRS seasoned investigators cooking up a false Whatsapp message or Hunter Biden lying?
I think we heard this before, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”

Let me guess: The Russians under Zelensky’s bed did this in order to undermine democracy by causing people to question the Biden Crime Family.

Mitten Romney agrees!

Doubtless, that msg has all the hallmarks of Russian disinfo. Has anyone polled the hallmark 50?

Can Congress subpoena any private citizen they want and force them to appear before them? Sounds like a dictatorship to me. BTW: Hunter could show up and plead the 5th on everything remaining closed lipped but I’ve also read that when he got that plea deal, it’s settled so he can’t use the 5th to remain silent anymore. Not sure if this is true

If it is a hoax, and in this day and age that is not beyond the realm, it shows how easily it is to confirm bias. Until we can return to a semblance of being honest with ourselves, nothing much will change. And as most people firmly believe, it’s going in the wrong direction.

Impeach Biden already, for his corruption and his abuse of power. It’s the way for America to learn everything,
