Furious Reaction To Ron DeSantis Pointing Out Biden Refuses To Acknowledge His Own Granddaughter
“The Harris-Biden administration is obsessed with Florida…yet they ignore the chaos at the border, crime-infested cities, economic malaise, and the military recruitment crisis. Maybe if Biden’s granddaughter moved to Florida he’d actually visit her.”
One of the most disturbing lines Joe Biden has ever uttered in his over 50+ years in public office has to be when he’s talked about how your children belong to everyone.
He (along with members of his cabinet) has said variations of the phrase multiple times, with one of the more recent examples being during a speech he gave in April:
“There is no such thing as someone else’s child. No such thing as someone else’s child. Our nation’s children are all our children,” Biden said, quoting a former teacher during a speech in the White House Rose Garden honoring the 2023 national and state teachers of the year.
And then there was this Biden White House messaging during Pride Month, tweeting a clip where Biden can be heard saying “these are our kids” and these are “not somebody else’s kids, they’re our kids.”

That Biden has been painting himself as a champion for children has not been lost on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who on the 2024 presidential campaign trail in Iowa last week opined that maybe Biden should instead focus on finally acknowledging his four-year-old granddaughter Navy Roberts, who is the daughter of Biden’s troubled son Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, a now ex-stripper he met in 2017:
“When Biden says they’re all of our kids, what I say is: why don’t you pay more attention to your granddaughter in Arkansas, or at least acknowledge that she exists?”

He made similar remarks at another Iowa event:
“You’re talking about all of our children; I have something to say to [Joe Biden],” DeSantis said. “Why don’t you focus on spending more time with your granddaughter in Arkansas, or at least acknowledge she exists, before you worry about our children?”
DeSantis then directed his attention to a group of protesters who were heckling him, displaying an LGBT pride flag.
“And they shouldn’t be worrying about our children either,” DeSantis continued, pointing to the protesters. “We don’t want you indoctrinating our children. Leave our kids alone!”

Even more recently, DeSantis responded accordingly on Friday to attacks the Biden-Harris administration has made on revised Florida education standards, pointing out that they have a history of being dishonest about what’s being taught there and seem to be “obsessed” with the Sunshine State. DeSantis went on to suggest that the obsession was so strong that “Maybe if Biden’s granddaughter moved to Florida he’d actually visit her.”

DeSantis’ pointed criticism of Biden on the granddaughter issue prompted Florida Politics publisher Peter Schorsch, a frequent critic of DeSantis, to claim DeSantis “went beyond the pale” in his remarks:

It’s a public display of virtue. The only little girl in the country that everybody cares about, in the sense of care that doesn’t require anything.

Believe it or not- THINGS HAVE CHANGED! Hunter is paying child support because the child is probably his. Even after DNA results were in he tried to deny it.
Before DNA we had things like my father having a daughter and going to his death bed unaware of it. If her son hadn’t taken a DNA test I wouldn’t know I had a half sister. Haven’t met her- every ancestry member with a family tree who I’ve contacted and who has read the message has no replied to me. Including my half nephew.
Along with that I have 4 people from 4 different families with an amount of DNA that corresponds to half 3rd cousin or half 3rd cousin 1X removed. In the same county. With the following things in common- 1. no listed ancestors in common with me within 4 generations. 3rd cousins come from second great grandfathers. 2. No listed ancestors in common with each other within 4 generations. 3. Multiple DNA matches in common with people who share my paternal heritage, including a 4th cousin 2X removed- going back to 3rd great grandparents.
This tells me my 2nd great-grandfather who lived in that area had a few extra children running around. One of the 4 could be proved with a Y-DNA test- and he’s reluctant to take it. He tried to explain the match by a common 10th great-grandparent…

My brother is all in on the family tree DNA stuff. A lot of odd stories have come out. My family is related to a family in the midwest, but we didn’t have any recent shared ancestors. Turns out her 2x great grandmother and 2x great grandfather worked on the farm of my 3x great grandfather. She had at least 3 kids that match my family.

Biden wants us to put him in office for a second term. The terrible way he treats his grand daughter shows he is an evil man. The fact that Quisling Biden has sold our country out for millions from Russia and China proves that he should be in prison.
This sound more like something Turmp would say then what DeSantis would say. I’ve heard that his staff is trying to get him to rebrand himself because of his poor polls. COuld this be a part of that.
I think hitting on basics like family values might be a good direction. We might not always agree with the directions our children choose, however, sometimes you just have to move past that and deal with the result. In this case, the result is a person who deserves opportunity as much as anybody else.
