Students Revolt Against LGBT Pride Event at Catholic School in Toronto

Earlier this week, people in Burlington, Massachusetts were shocked when middle school students rebelled against a planned LGBT pride event. Now something similar has unfolded in Toronto, Canada.
A Catholic school declined to raise the LGBT pride flag, so a group of pro-LGBT students staged a walkout. Then another group of students began a counter-protest against the walk-out.

A group of students is under fire after reacting negatively to a Pride protest in a suburban Toronto, Ontario school district. The protest was staged by students who were dismayed that the York Catholic School Board declined to fly the Progress Pide flag for Pride month after some students brought forth the proposal.
In response to that denial, students in Newmarket and across the York region staged a walkout in support of that flag. Those students say that they were subject to harassment by other students who were opposed to flying the flag, and antagonistic toward the all-encompassing Pride month as well.
The walkout was at the Saint Brother Andre in Markham, and as students carried their Pride banner, they were followed by a group of students making fun of them. Video shows one student stomping on the trans inclusive le[s]bian flag in orange, white, and pink colors…
The students who were hostile to the Pride walkout tore the banners and signs, and threw Pride paraphernalia in the streets. One student said they “threw water” and were “judging” the students who walked out in support of the Progress Pride flag.

It’s also fascinating how progressives love the idea of school kids protesting things until the kids start protesting something that progressives like and then, suddenly, it’s a big problem.
Lots of kids are done with this mess. Stop shoving sexuality and gender identity down their throats.

I don’t want to be anywhere near that repulsive transthing (I won’t dignify it by calling it a flag) if someone lights it up. Who knows what toxic trans particles it may emit?

Actually, in Canada I would not be surprised if the kids were arrested and placed in the Juvie system, subject to reeducation/reindoctrination. Opposing what the government wants is not tolerated.

I think you might be startled about how many people of any sexuality are pedophiles.
Are there any stats to support this? Any survey stats? I suspect that such would greatly understate the numbers.

Since homosexual men comprise only 6% of the population, this tiny fraction is responsible for a massive amount of abuse. Don’t kid yourself about “some” homo pedophiles. Not to mention that pederasty is firmly entrenched in the gay lifestyle.
Because everyone knows some nice gay people, normals prefer to pretend that the raw underside of homo sex doesn’t exist.
Worse, most child molesters aren’t paedophiles, that is children aren’t the subject of adult desire, simply an available means to an end for those who are drunk, stressed etc. Thus the homosexual paedophile share of the population is likely a majority of criminal paedophile cases.

How can a Catholic school fly a pride flag? The unalterable truths contained in the Magisterium explain that homosexuals have a disordered mind and that homosexual activity (or contemplation of such) is a grave sin.
Well, except that whole “seminaries are basically gay brothels” thing. The Catholic laity is in a tight spot. The hierarchy seems to be wholly engrossed in evil.

Yes. My wife’s three best friends are devout Catholic women who intensely love God and live a life of devotion to Him. I pretty thoroughly disagree with them theologically, but they are great people.
Exactly my first thought. It seems to me that the kids all in on the Trans Mafia stuff have no religious ties to the school and, in fact, believe things diametrically opposed to Church doctrine so I have to ask why are those kids there?
Did they revolt against celebration of the transgender spectrum disorder, or against albinophobia represented by the Rainbow (in human context) flag, or take umbrage to the exclusion of the polyamorous pride of lions, lionesses, and [unPlanned] cubs playing in a gay parade on the African savanna, but probably not on the Isle of Lesbos.
Perhaps they recall trans/homosexual males grooming young boys in churches, schools, scouts, etc. Under Critical Diversity Theory (CDT), the transgender community is a color bloc, where individuals are indivisible under the tenets of social justice.
Or the doctrine of political congruence (“=”). The “Respect for Marriage Act” is the culmination of secular dogma of ethical/religious bigotry.

Taxpayers didn’t fund public schools to teach kids sex. It wasn’t needed. This whole mess is on the teachers and administrators of the school.
Public schools are unsalvageable. Teacher certification is now a liability, in that it usually means brainwashed beyond redemption. There would have to be a clean sweep of staff in public & many private schools.
In Ontario, Catholic schools are funded with tax dollars.
With government control, the Catholic schools need to submit to the new LGBT religion.

Maybe it’s time decent people took to the streets, burned pride flags, heckled politicians and the like. When there are too many people to jail, liberals cave.
A woman I know is an elementary school teacher in Georgia. She told me recently that the atmosphere in her school has changed radically for the worse. She is harassed, threatened, cursed, and called the most vile names – by some of her students! Only a few years ago it didn’t happen but it’s happening now. We are witnessing the dissolution of our culture and nation. I fear for our future.
