Palestinian Authority President Abbas Ends China Visit After Backing Beijing’s Crackdown on Muslim Uyghurs

Abbas: China’s treatment of Muslims has “nothing to do with human rights and are aimed at excising extremism and opposing terrorism and separatism.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who made a career inciting Muslim countries against Israel, ended his visit to China on Friday after backing Beijing’s crackdown on Muslim minorities.

In a joint statement with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Abbas declared that Palestinians “resolutely opposes using the Xinjiang problem as a way of interfering in China’s internal affairs.” China’s treatment of Muslims has “nothing to do with human rights and are aimed at excising extremism and opposing terrorism and separatism,” statement added.

Mahmoud Abbas, serving his 18th year of a four-year presidential term, had no problem ignoring the plight of Chinese Muslims in return for Beijing’s economic and diplomatic support. During Abba’s visit, China announced the establishment of “strategic partnership” with the PLO-controlled Palestinian Authority. “We have always firmly supported the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights,” Xi told Abbas.

China’s communist regime runs a network of gulag-like forced labor and ‘re-education’ camps, holding millions of dissenters, Christians, Buddhists and Muslims in inhuman conditions. Out of the total population of 12 million, “China has detained more than one million Uyghurs against their will over the past few years in a large network of what the state calls ‘re-education camps,’ and sentenced hundreds of thousands to prison terms,” the BBC reported last year, citing human rights groups.

The Associated Press reported Abbas’s stance:

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas wrapped up a trip to China Friday after seeking economic aid and voicing support for Beijing’s repressive policies toward Muslim minorities in the northwestern region of Xinjiang.

During his four-day visit, Abbas met with Chinese President and head of the ruling Communist Party Xi Jinping. The leaders then issued a joint statement endorsing Beijing’s domestic and foreign policies and repudiating Western concepts of human rights.

In the statement, the Palestinian Authority said issues regarding China’s policy toward Muslims in Xinjiang have “nothing to do with human rights and are aimed at excising extremism and opposing terrorism and separatism.”

“Palestine resolutely opposes using the Xinjiang problem as a way of interfering in China’s internal affairs,” the joint statement said.

That echoes Chinese propaganda surrounding the detention of more than 1 million Uyghurs, Kazakhs and other Muslim minorities in prison-like detention centers on little or no legal grounds — often merely for having a relative studying abroad or downloading the Koran onto their phones.

Abbas’s Checkered Red Past

Abbas’s PLO and allied Palestinian terrorist groups have a history of collaborating with communist regimes and Marxist terrorist organizations.

Abbas, who studies in the Soviet Union, is himself suspected of being a KGB informant. Based on the documents from the Mitrokhin Archives, named after KGB’s chief-archivist who defected to the U.S. shortly after the fall of Soviet Union, Abbas is reported to have been identified as a KGB spy.

“According to a document from the famous Mitrokhin archive, . . . Abbas was code-named Krotov (mole) while he worked as a spy,” the Israel i24News TV channel reported in 2016 citing Hebrew media reports. “Abbas was a KGB agent and worked under Mikhail Bodganov, who was at the time posted in Damascus and is now a top Russian diplomat in the Middle East,” the broadcaster added.

After Rejecting Trump Peace Plan, Abbas Seeks Chinese “Mediation”

After vehemently rejecting President Donald Trump’s Middle East Peace Plan in early 2020, Abbas is now seeking China’s “mediation.” It is worth noting that neither Abbas nor his terrorist mentor Yasser Arafat ever sought real peace with Israel.

Rejecting President Trump’s peace initiative, Abbas joined forces with Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. They jointly vowed to incite mass rioting in Gaza and the West Bank in a bid to scuttle the plan. Unimpressed with Palestinian rejectionism, President Trump stopped PA’s funding and brokered the landmark Abraham Accords normalizing relations between Israel and key Arab states.

Thus continuing the Palestinian grift. They do not want peace with Israel.

Rriigghhttt !!!

Why in heck does Israel continue granting human rights to Abbas and his supporters?

Muslim supremacist/terrorist hustlers are gonna hustle. Nothing new under the Sun. And, the vile Dhimmi-crats will still treat this transparently corrupt and vile charlatan, Abba, with totally undeserved deference and legitimacy.

To Abbas, it’s all about the Benjamins.

The Chinese communists past, present, and progressive are renowned for their diversity schemes. The PLO… PLA… PA, too. Some, Select [Black] Lives Matter

America has no problem ignoring its hand in gross crimes against nature when it comes to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and across the Muslim world in order to point fingers at China. Palestine was not going to play that game
