It Turns Out That America Is Much Harder To Destroy Than Our Enemies, Foreign and Domestic, Thought

America, the real America, is pushing back.

http://sisu.typepad.com/sisu/2009/03/it-looked-like-the-politician-had-figured-out-pretty-quickly-which-raised-hands-to-call-on.html

Like most of you, I am angered, frustrated, insulted, and discouraged by Democrats’ multi-pronged assault on our great nation.

It’s been creeping along for over a hundred years, of course, but it’s been particularly obvious (and obnoxious) in recent years. We all know it. I don’t really need to go through it all again, as we’ve covered extensively here at LI this war on America and on Americans, on all that is decent, good, and worthwhile about our beloved country.

But take heart. Things are shifting, you can feel it in the air, practically see it in the haze of panic that is emanating from our nation’s would-be destroyers. Democrats and their assorted gaggle of divisive, destructive, America-hating cohorts really thought they had it—America, that is—in the bag. They thought they had dealt the death blow, field-dressed the carcass, and were preparing to dance naked while spraying rainbow-colored silly string on our country’s grave.

A funny thing happened on the way to their long-held goal of our nation’s demise, however. Americans started paying attention. And what we saw was horrifying. And unAmerican. And just plain wrong.

The evil-doers made two very clear mistakes: they came for the children, and they tossed over two hundred years of America’s justice system into a dumpster and then lit the dried banana peel kindling on fire.

They Came For The Children

The great unraveling of the Democrats’ evil schemes started, of course, with covid tyranny, but it didn’t end there because parents started seeing the bizarre creatures teaching their children and seeing what they were being taught, and were—justly—enraged. This new (to most) awareness of what is going on in our nation’s classrooms motivated parents to push back and to push back hard. They ran for school boards and won due to other furious parents’ support.

Teaching little children to hate themselves and fear others (the core concept behind Critical Race Theory and “anti-racism” as ‘taught’ in K-12) was the first step the wanton destroyers took, but it didn’t end there. They also began championing child mutilation and pushing the bodily, chemical, and genital mutilation of healthy children in their bid to gain complete control over our nation’s future.

To call this sick, immoral, and depraved is to downplay this horrifying, soul-crushing ideology. Words really fail me (me!) in describing just how damaging and evil is this campaign to ensnare innocent children into a world of self-loathing and wanton sexual intercourse.  It’s not just straight and gay sex they push on toddlers, as if that weren’t bad enough; these people are trying to normalize adults raping children. It’s beyond sick and twisted; it may be beyond evil.

And Americans of every race, every religion, every sexual orientation are speaking out against this horror show. Heck, even some trans people are disgusted and pushing back, drawing the line at kids.

I’m a huge supporter of the LGB (without the TQ) community in the sense that I don’t think about them at all. I don’t care who sleeps with whom; it’s not my business and has zero to do with me. Practically no one these days cares about gay people and what they do or don’t do; in fact, most of us would prefer not to know anyone’s sexual preference unless it’s actually relevant in some way (i.e. if a lesbian wants to cuddle up with my fuzzy slippers, I have to tell her my slippers don’t fuzz that way; otherwise, I don’t care. At all. Ever.).

And we were told that’s all the LGB (before the TQ) cared about. Just being able to live their lives. They got that. They won. Yay! But that slippery slope we always knew was there suddenly has homosexuals well and truly ticked off . . . at the TQ. I’m good with that.

Welcome to the Banana Republic of America

Democrats’ second mistake was failing to understand that their politically-based persecution of and witch hunts against former president Donald Trump were rallying normal Americans not to defend Trump but to defend our country.

There is truth to Trump’s oft-quoted line that “they are coming for you, [he’s] just in the way.” The elites, the establishment, the deep state, Democrats and their enablers all gang up on Trump not because of who he is but because of whom he represents: normal Americans.

They had a hard time with the Tea Party because it was de-centered, there was no single “leader.” Remember the “I am  the Tea Party Leader” chorus that rang out after it was leaked that Bill Clinton and James Carville recommended finding out who the Tea Party leaders were, singling them out, isolating them, and then driving them into the ground? That Alinsky tactic didn’t work then because we were everyone and everywhere and no one and nowhere. We were all Spartacus.

With MAGA, they have that leader they can destroy, and his name is Donald Trump. They don’t seem to understand that we are all still here, still going to be here, no matter what they do, what “movement” we align with, or whom they destroy. Or maybe they do and somehow thought that turning American jurisprudence on its head would silence us?

Not so. Heck, I’m not even a Trump fan, but I am willing to vote for him if it means we finally send the message these extra-Constitutional would-be dictators and tyrants need to hear: This is America. America! We are not beaten, and we will not surrender.

Better crank up that “well-funded cabal of powerful people” against Trump because America has had enough, and we, the people, are far more powerful than they imagine. Just ask Bud Light.

It may take a while for it to sink in, but we’re done with this anti-American, unAmerican nonsense. Heck, even a California state legislator is done, ready to move out of Cali and “to America,” which he clearly recognizes as not the leftist-run dystopian nightmare much of California has become.

Watch to the end. He says that when he finishes his term he is moving from Gavin Newsom’s California “to America.”

America is freedom, it’s liberty, it’s free from forced speech and fake concern about “misinformation” (this is just Orwellian speak for the actual truth). It’s free from child genital mutilation and destructive ideology that pits Americans against one another as either oppressed or oppressor. It’s free from schoolchildren being taught in taxpayer-funded schools about oral sex, fisting, and BDSM kink before they can even write their name in cursive.

America, the real America, is pushing back. The result can be only one of two things: Democrats back off and denounce these overreaches as fringe subsets they’ll ostracize, or they do not, and we reject them, isolate them, and force them to live by their own rules. Alinsky-style.

If California is no longer America, so be it. We don’t need a formal secession to recognize this truth, and America will flourish as these regressive states embrace their anti-American doom loop.

Now, if we could just find a way to cut off “federal funding” for these unAmerican cities and states. “Federal funding,” of course, means that all of us who live in America have to pay for these unAmerican areas to exist.

The way things are going, though, that won’t last long because there is a huge, almost tangible, push back against Democrats and their disastrous vision of a “transformed” America.

Fuzzy, of all the fine articles you have placed here, I believe this one is your best. I especially like the ‘get to the root of it’ with the naming of Democrats as destroyers. Not libs, not ultra this or that, not ‘progressives’. Just Democrats..

Wow, thanks so much, Whitewall! I decided to change to “Democrats” because we were letting them off the hook by wish casting that Democrats are not 100% behind the destruction of our country. I’m not letting them off the hook anymore. They are the driving force and organizing ground zero of the anti-America “cabal” . . . . and they brag about it. I’ve had enough.

    dunce1239 in reply to Whitewall. | June 18, 2023 at 1:11 am

Now that the Dobbs decision has stooped them from slaughtering a million babies a year their blood lust has driven them over the edge.

(i.e. if a lesbian wants to cuddle up with my fuzzy slippers, I have to tell her my slippers don’t fuzz that way; otherwise, I don’t care. At all. Ever.).

You win the Internet today, girl.

guyjones in reply to Exiliado. | June 16, 2023 at 11:39 am

Didn’t Fuzzy see the memo from Johns Hopkins? We don’t use the term “lesbian,” anymore — these folks are properly referred to as “non-men attracted to non-men.”

Keep up with the Dumb-o-crats’ Orwellian lexicon, people!

MattMusson in reply to guyjones. | June 16, 2023 at 12:42 pm

Lesbians are now on the chopping block, literally.

Wokesters believe they should seek to be surgically reassigned. The letters at the end of LGB are turning on the L.

Dimsdale in reply to MattMusson. | June 16, 2023 at 1:38 pm

And the “G,” and they can’t explain the “B” part….

Lesbians and gays are just transgenders that were afraid to follow through with the mental and surgical mutilations, don’t cha’ know?

          dunce1239 in reply to Dimsdale. | June 18, 2023 at 1:06 am

My sister (perfectly normal wife and mother of three) let a doctor talk her into a hysterectomy that she found out had a lot of complications not previously warned about. It even affected her teeth. Who knew???? Many doctors will do anything for money.

Lausyl in reply to Exiliado. | June 16, 2023 at 3:37 pm

The LGB community of old respected the straight communities boundaries. The rest of the alphabet has no boundaries.

I don’t see eye-to-eye with Ms Slippers re DJT but we all agree that the injustice served to The Donald is but a mere percentage of what is in store for us.

{Q}. Democrats’ second mistake was failing to understand that their politically-based persecution of and witch hunts against former president Donald Trump were rallying normal Americans not to defend Trump but to defend our country. [/Q]

YES! Thats a truth I’ve kind of felt but could never explicitly define much less articulate.

Thank you, Ms Fuzzy!

Thanks, Brian. Americans are waking up to what the Democrats and their assorted “allies” are willing to do in their bid to grow their power and control, and we are not amused.

Steven Brizel | June 16, 2023 at 9:39 am

The Democrats have demonstrated that they stand with those who seek the destruction of the nuclear family and traditional family values

Jhnmilller84 | June 16, 2023 at 9:40 am

That’s not really all the LGB wanted either. That was just a way for the camel to get its nose under the tent. We’ve seen things on display that would land any heterosexual person in jail for years during the holy month of the sin of pride for years.
I’m all for leaving people alone to exercise their deviant desires in private, but I’m not on board with being forced to validate their deviant behavior as morally equivalent to normal sexual behavior. Falling for the lie that they just want to freely exist is what got us here, because in truth, they had freely existed for decades when keeping their sexual behavior to the same level of discretion that were imposed on normal sexual behavior.

Seriously, I respect and admire your optimism. I wish I could share on it.

It’s true that we see some push back, but the truth is that we are losing, and America is going down the toilet.

Has the war on family stopped?
Did the pedos and groomers slow down their attempts to get our children? Did the government stop protecting and normalizing them?

The 2020 election was stolen. IT. WAS. STOLEN.
But instead of making sure it does not happen again, we hear voices all over the place trying to deny it, move on, forget it. And worse, there is suppression and punishment against people for even speaking about it. And on top, there are calls from the GOP to normalize fraud via ballot harvesting. Horrible!!!!

Then we have the January 6 thing still going. Do I even have to say anything abut it? Political prisoners? Years in jail without trial, without bond?

And what about the justice department as a weapon?
The IRS?
The FBI?

I am sorry. I can’t be optimistic seeing what’s going on.

E Howard Hunt in reply to Exiliado. | June 16, 2023 at 9:53 am

I agree. We all wish Fuzzy’s prediction were true, but her hopefulness reminds me of Hitler’s fevered assurances of final victory, from his bunker in the spring of 1945.

CommoChief in reply to Exiliado. | June 16, 2023 at 11:29 am

It’s not so much ‘forget the 2020 election and move on’ as it is about willingness to learn the lessons of 2020 shenanigans deployed by the d/prog. Then the willingness to do the very difficult work to counter those from reoccurring. If along the way at a future point specific individuals can be ID who committed specific crimes/fraud in the election of 2020 and there’s a local DA or State AG who will vigorously prosecute those crimes then I am all for that. Frankly I don’t know who isn’t.

The cry of 2020 is insufficient. We have to clean up the local county voter registration rolls. Remove the ghost registration of folks who moved, died or have an otherwise invalid registration and the universe of ballots available for the d/prog to play with shrinks. It’s far harder and way more risky to use an active legitimate voter’s ballot to cheat with than a ghost registration. The legit voter shows up to vote or check the status and finds out someone already voted in their name and that becomes a problem for the d/prog machine. Get rid of those ghost registrations and it becomes much harder for a trunk full of ballots to suddenly appear. It takes more than a battle cry of remember 2020, it takes real effort and hard work over countless hours by local Citizens willing to do the drudge work which frankly will be under or unappreciated by most people in their community.

Dimsdale in reply to CommoChief. | June 16, 2023 at 1:44 pm

Agreed. Why is it so difficult to clean up voter rolls in the two years between elections? They don’t even try!

Subotai Bahadur in reply to Dimsdale. | June 16, 2023 at 2:45 pm

There is no other reason possible except that they do not WANT to clean up the voter rolls, regardless of party. I leave to others to ponder what that means in reference to the legitimacy of American government and the Social Contract.

        Subotai Bahadur

Lausyl in reply to Dimsdale. | June 16, 2023 at 3:51 pm

They don’t want to. In 2004 my state (Ohio) went for Bush. Barbara Boxer objected to Ohio’s electoral votes being counted since Ohio’s voter rolls were a mess. She was right; Ohio’s voter rolls were a mess at the time. The state government, at great hassle and expense, cleaned up those voter rolls. As a result: the state went from purple to red.

CommoChief in reply to Dimsdale. | June 16, 2023 at 8:04 pm

They are required to do more than ‘try’. The Motor Voter law makes it a violation of Federal law to fail to perform ‘maintenance’ of the voter registration rolls; removing ghost names, inactive voters, people that died or moved.

Several jurisdictions have had to be sued into compliance and a court order issued to force them to so. Of course someone local needs to be willing to file the lawsuit against the County and often no one is willing so…..

Gosport in reply to Dimsdale. | June 16, 2023 at 8:08 pm

Because “they” are very often Dem dominated county election departments.
And those that aren’t will still obfuscate and resist cleaning the rolls tooth and nail.

So reality boils down to Dem dominated counties padding their vote numbers while Rep ones presumably are acting with integrity.

        That’s a no-win.

Edward in reply to Dimsdale. | June 19, 2023 at 9:06 am

That isn’t universally true. Texas sends out Voter Registration Cards every two years, which are valid for two years. They are not forwardable, so when undeliverable to the addressee the county registrar is notified and conducts an investigation to determine the status of the voter. Perhaps not a perfect system as it depends on the mail carrier to not leave mail for a person no longer at the residence, but far more than not even trying. Also the SSA Death database is matched against the voter rolls to remove deceased individuals, again more than nothing.

I have a problem with the state signing up for ERIC, a Democrat established system which is promoted as a way to keep voter rolls up to date, but seems far more interested in forcing the cooperating states to push registration on those who have decided (for whatever reason) to not register to vote (not to mention sharing personal information with outside entities).

Edward in reply to Edward. | June 19, 2023 at 9:15 am

Forgot to mention the norm for voting in person (early or election day) is to present your Registration Card and acceptable picture ID. The info from the card is compared to the county database and a ballot issued. We have Absentee voting for the statutory reasons (illness, absent from the county for elections, 65 and over. I have been eligible for Absentee voting for going on two decades and I’ll get to the polling place until I can’t). We have mobile voting machines which are taken to a vehicle for a disabled voter to vote from a vehicle. The vast majority of Texas voters vote in person, with picture ID and their registration card.

aslannn in reply to Exiliado. | June 17, 2023 at 10:26 am

This. I don’t care what anyone does in private. But that doesn’t necessitate society’s approval. When society decided to accept sodomy as being within the bounds of normalcy, and legalized it, that which we see around us today became inevitable.
Now, as we have have seen historically, the depraved left will push things to the brink. Then, in response to opposition, they’ll pull back for awhile, and let normalization take place, then they’ll be back for more, and on and on it goes. Anyone who thinks the genie is going back in the bottle has not historical perspective.

I hear you, Exiliado, but I feel a complete shift in public perception and engagement. People are drawing lines, ignoring leftist smears, and standing together, united against pure evil. America is not a place on a map or defined by its free market, we are bigger and better and more exceptional than that, and we have always pushed back the commie threat.

There were more self-proclaimed communists in America in the thirties than there are now, even as Democrats appear to be on the ascent. That’s huge.

Yes, I, too, believe that Trump won in 2020 and was robbed, that we all were robbed. But I think we differ on what to do about it. There is no Constitutional way to right that wrong with regards to 2020’s election. There just isn’t. We can flail and gripe and hold our breath until we turn blue, but it’s done. It’s over. All we can do, all we can do that has any real meaning, is ensure that never happens again.

The challenge here is that we do not hold national elections, per se. Each state, county, district is, per our Constitution, responsible for ensuring clean elections. If you live in a state that stopped counting votes or that suddenly “found” a trunkload of votes, then YOU need to get to work.

I can’t help you in Georgia or Michigan or Wisconsin or Pennsylvania (etc), and there is no savior riding to your rescue. You are an American, and you have to help yourself. Fix your voting rules and shading dealings in your own state. That’s all you have any influence over, and if you are not working your butt off to fix elections in your state, I don’t really want to hear you crying that elections are “fixed.” Don’t complain, get to work and fix it.

As to the deep state, there are candidates who not only recognize but can effectively dismantle it, but it can’t be done in four years by a president who is a lame duck pretty much from Day One. Trump can’t fix this. We know this because he didn’t, and though he did make moves in that direction (Schedule F reclassification, for example), that didn’t come until late 2020, far too late to make any difference at all. Draining the swamp was not a Trump priority, and we know this because he didn’t make any effective move to do so until Oct. 2020. By then, Trump had already been rolled, drowned, and decimated by the swamp.

I take no pleasure in noting this because I want the corruption and deep state gone just as much as the most fervent Trump supporter. The problem, of course, is that Trump cannot do it. As we’ve already learned.

The beatings will continue until we take their weapons away. The Patriot Act, the FBI, the Department of Education, and control of the MSM are just a few that come to mind.

From your keyboard to God’s ears. I hope you’re right and I hope it’s enough.

“Now, if we could just find a way to cut off “federal funding” for these unAmerican cities and states.”

There is a way — it’s called the House of Representatives. You know, the body that recently voted to lift the debt ceiling and allow trillions in spending to continue unimpeded while the national debt balloons and the economy tanks.

The American public has tacitly approved the stealing of two national elections, bent the knee to unconstitutional restrictions on their freedoms during the scamdemic, lined up (while remaining dutifully masked and standing six feet apart) to take an experimental “vaccination” while their quarantined parents and grandparents died unattended by the thousands,
stood idly by while their fellow citizens who were deemed political opponents of the regime were imprisoned with little or no due process, and politicians including a former President are dragged through “process is the punishment” faux legal proceedings with the blessings of their oppressors.

Sorry, Ben — we couldn’t keep it.

Ms. S – well written and upbeat. A pleasure to read.

texansamurai | June 16, 2023 at 11:09 am

the leftists, etc. are relentlessly testing our resolve–sincerely hope you are right, fuzzy but personally(since about 2008) have viewed the advancing government overreach in light of hemingway’s eloquent parable related in “sordo on the hilltop”

since the leftists, etc. are unlikely to relent, believe the ultimate conclusion is inevitable–regardless of their tactics, they are vastly outnumbered by good and decent people–men and women of every race, every faith, every background–our fellow citizens, our fellow americans

am reminded also of something a fellow american once said:

” if there is to be trouble or bloodshed or strife let it be in my time so that my children and their descendants may know peace.”

am not eager for it or wishing for it but if it indeed comes then so be it

Note the – San Francisco homosexuals bragging – we are coming for your children video..

A lot of good points have been made by Fuzzy in her post, and, in the comments.

I’ll submit that nothing will change from an electoral standpoint, no matter how much popular outrage is vented at the Dumb-o-crats’ morally bankrupt and destructive cultural and socioeconomic schemes, until the corrupt and lawless machinations, sabotage and subversion antics of the Deep State/FBI, mainstream media and Big Tech, are successfully combated and neutralized.

I understand that this week in Georgia the Judges ruled that the Dominion Election Machines and the way the election was run was corrupt. The election machines were found that they could be hacked easily and change any person’s vote.

This will have to be fixed before the 2024 election and will affect other states. The MSM has not reported this, but this is a major issue for 2024 election on all levels of government.

Edward in reply to JG. | June 19, 2023 at 9:23 am

IIRC Texas tested the Dominion machines prior to the 2020 election and, having failed the testing, they were not approved for use in Texas elections.

Someday a real rain will come….. There comes a point even if you beat them back, vote them out and drive them underground they will still be there to try again. An end must be put to this, once and for all.

In a metaphorical sense, they’re testing the Castle doctrine – pushing their crap in public via gangs and to the boundaries of where we live aided by a complicit (wink-wink) government. It is in trying to ‘cross the threshold’ of where we live – encroaching on our foundational principles, threatening our homes and loved ones, that they have forced us to recognize we can fall back no further without surrender – and surrendering my kids – my family – my foundational and most cherished beliefs – is NOT an option.

The muslims trampling on pride flags and finding idological agreement with Christians seems like a seminal moment in inter-faith agreement – in the enemy of my enemy is my friend kind of thing. Christian and Muslim can agree on “perversion” and partner up. Both love their kids. I can see them partnering up until the battle is won.

Are we practicing a kind of idealogical / moral Castle doctrine? This far and no father? In coming for our kids and corrupting our courts and justice system, they’ve crossed the threshold?

henrybowman | June 16, 2023 at 6:43 pm

To add to this, America is starting to blow out the gaslights:

Nearly 100 percent of political donations from self-identified fact checkers—including those whose employers claim journalistic neutrality—go to Democrats, a Washington Free Beacon analysis of federal campaign finance disclosures found.

The Free Beacon reviewed political donations over the past four election cycles from those who identified their occupation as “fact checker.” $22,580 of the $22,683 in political donations that came from self-identified fact checkers during that time—a whopping 99.5 percent—went to Democrats and liberal groups. Only three of the fact checker donations made during that period went to Republicans. Top recipients include socialist Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, who during the seven-year period received ten times more fact checker money than every Republican combined…

henrybowman in reply to henrybowman. | June 17, 2023 at 1:08 am

I did a little doodling with this dataset, and the results are even more shocking.
Over 8½ years, 1934 contributions were made by “fact checkers.”
Only THREE were to Republican funds.
Only ONE of those appears authentic — $100 from a woman at Google who obscured her address as “123 No Name Drive.”
The other two were from the same individual (a different one, not this lady), for token contributions of $1 and $2, and were probably made only to get on the Republican group’s mailing list.

WatTylersRevenge | June 17, 2023 at 7:16 am

I think we are at Churchill’s “Beaches” speech. Americans, and the West in general, have finally realized they are under attack, and by their own “elites”. We have just begun to fight back. Finally, we have reached the proverbial hill to die on.
As for the LGB contingent, sooner or later they’re going to realize the TQ+ mob is going to destroy 60 years of progress if they don’t draw their own line in the sand.

One of the shifts that has given me hope is the fact that LGB (and even some T’s) are completely pushing back and doing great work to remove the TQ cancer from their ranks. I linked to some of that in my post, but it’s truly crucial to have the LGBWithoutTheTQ pushing back. They are much more effective than we are because they have been steeping in leftist activism forever. As such, they are immune to the name-calling, smears, and threats of ostracism. We normies may have led the charge, but it’s the LGB community who will decimate this madness.
