Agreed. Public employees should not get pensions, 401K is fine, but not pensions. Once they get a decade in, they can be manipulated at will by their superiors, who threaten their pensions if they do not comply.
Take away the pensions, you take away the leverage over public employees enjoyed by their superiors.

Not to mention the fact that ‘public servants’ are just about the only people left who get defined-benefit retirement packages. All of the rest of us get benefits based on how much we pay in and how the underlying assets perform over time. Doesn’t seem quite fair when it is our tax dollars that pay them for life. And oh yeah, half of them then retire and take a second ‘public service’ job and rape our wallets some more, and then pick up another pension for life.

Weird thing is, with Obama you knew: If you needed a decision from POTUS, you got Valerie Jarrett to make a decision and she’d have Barry read it off a teleprompter after writing up the order and having it autosigned. If you went to Barack first, you’d have to wait for him to confer with Jarrett and, aside from the wait, you’d probably not get what you wanted because he was too weak to make your case to her for you.
With the Biden’s occupying the office, who is in charge? It varies on the issue, and even then its hard to tell who is going to make the final decision on any issue. For awhile it was mostly Susan Rice, but lately not so much.

PBS is functionally a Ministry of Disinformation agency funded by the taxpayers and government supporters, and CNN and MSNBC are entities with quasi independent status that tow the Leftist line; yeah functionally there is now government censorship of political speech given by a major political figure who they are at war with.
