U. Texas at Austin DEI Glossary Suggests the Term ‘Wimmin’ to Avoid ‘Men’ in ‘Women’

They apparently took it down after Chris Rufo highlighted it on Twitter.

The College Fix reports:

UT-Austin DEI glossary touts term ‘wimmin’ to avoid word ‘men’

The University of Texas at Austin on Tuesday took down a diversity, equity and inclusion glossary of terms that included the word “wimmin,” prompting the institution to receive some attention and backlash for it.

The glossary, created by the Office of Financial and Administrative Services, was highlighted by conservative education activist Christopher Rufo on Tuesday morning, who tweeted: “The University of Texas is now promoting the word ‘wimmin,’ so that students and faculty can ‘avoid the word ending in ‘-men.” According to UT, this is empowering.”

The glossary stated: “Wimmin: A nonstandard spelling of the word ‘women’ used by feminists to avoid the word ending ‘men.’”

Four hours later, Rufo tweeted: “After I caught them recommending the word ‘wimmin’ in place of ‘women,’ University of Texas administrators have removed their ‘Language Matters’ guide from the university website. Unfortunately for them, I’ve archived the page and will report more next week.”

The College Fix attempted to load the URL — https://financials.utexas.edu/diversity-committment/language-matters-glossary-terms — but it came up as “page not found.”

UT Austin’s media affairs division could not immediately be reached for comment by The College Fix on Tuesday evening asking why the glossary was so quickly taken down.

I thought the idiot leftists had settled on “wymyn” to take care of that a few years ago.

“wimmin” is how people write it on the internet when they are making jokes – like they do with “chillin” for ‘children’.

Well … this is what happens when you let criminals run free in society and allow degenerate morons to spew idiocy in public without pointing out what complete degenerate morons they are.

There has never been an advanced society on Earth that was this insane – and that’s really saying something. These leftists are awful self-hating nihilists who are just looking to destroy everything.

It sounds like ignorance to me.

Why is anyone in the “Office of Financial and Administrative Services” wasting their time (and therefore the taxpayer’s money) on moronic shit such as this? The person who wrote this glossary should be fired immediately.

Because they’re not qualified to do anything more impressive than mental masturbation. Seriously, that’s the reason. Styrofoam structures from styrofoam majors.

The “min” in administrative is a little too close to “men” for me, plus “min” is minimal or minimum, thus degrading those who work in this important area.. I feel uncomfortable with it, so it should be changed to adwimminstrative services.

Whatever they want to be called, just so long as they keep making and bringing me my damn sammich.

I love to go swimmin’

With bow-legged wimmin’

And swim between their legs!

Yeah, that’s who it was: Popeye.

Vaguely recalling something along the lines of …

“Wimmin laugh at the funniest things.”

The Gentle Grizzly | May 7, 2023 at 2:34 pm

It has gotten time to just ignore them. And when they get angry and start stomping their little feet, point at them and laugh.

Dathurtz in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | May 7, 2023 at 7:27 pm

Please don’t ignore them. Please actively oppose them even if it is just public mockery. This stuff is a cancer that will never stop spreading if it can’t be excised.

Exactly. Just another small step on the road to erase women and replace us with anything that diminishes us.

Men should stay away from wimmin at all costs. At least it becomes easier to set boundaries….like avoiding Austin. Yes, I know…we are all on the approved NSA/FBI/DOJ LI watch list. That will also clarify boundaries in the future.

The tragedy is lots of women are OK with wimmin. Just as these same women are OK with the phrase ‘men are trash’ or ‘all men are predators’. They say these things about their own Fathers, Brothers, Uncles, Grandfathers or stand silently by when others do so. The under 35 crowd of women but especially wimmin seems to view life as a bitter contest between themselves as a group and men as a group.

That is one reason the under 35 crowd of females is hell bent on neutering traditional males, declaring them toxic. This emphasis on a misunderstood, purposefully IMO, of traditional males and their roles in society is Cray Cray. The same characteristics and competences that allow the Villain to oppress and injure others are what the Hero requires to liberate and protect others from the Villain. So when women, but particularly wimmin, ask ‘where are all the real men’ the truth is they neutered many of them and the rest are very wary of engaging with females lest they get called the Villainous, toxic male. See the poor SoB who chocked out that crazy dude on the NYC subway.

Did they get the inspiration for this spelling change from the script of Blazing Saddles?

Are wimmin human beings or part of humanity? Do they believe in human rights? Do they menstruate? One thing for sure, they are mental.

E Howard Hunt | May 7, 2023 at 3:28 pm

Do these wimmin minstruate? They won’t after a hyrterectomy.

healthguyfsu | May 7, 2023 at 3:32 pm

Ironically, the word seems to suggest minimal with the suffix. Do these people want to keep beclowning themselves?

The Gentle Grizzly | May 7, 2023 at 3:46 pm

Are any who are making these demands attractive? Even just plain?

Male sex. Femimasculine gender, perhaps socially progressive.

Are they better able to say what is a wimmin?

The wimmin of The University of Texass.

I’m amazed the same glossary didn’t offer a replacement for “woman.”

It’s got “man” in it, you know.

Once upon a time there were radical lesbians who promoted “womon,” plural “wimmin.” But they’re out of favor now, for being trans-excluding.

Another day; another bit of manifestly Orwellian, stupid and obnoxiously totalitarian lexicon agitprop, from the utterly vile Dumb-o-crats.

I’m tired of these linguistic niggards imposing their idiotic diktats upon the rest of us.

henrybowman in reply to guyjones. | May 7, 2023 at 8:57 pm

Linguistic niggards? To the contrary — they are linguistic diarrhetics.

guyjones in reply to henrybowman. | May 8, 2023 at 8:05 am

Well, I meant that the Dumbs are niggardly with regard to their judgments of what words are allegedly appropriate to use. I’m trying to fit that word in, somehow!

To be sure, the Dumbs contrive new additions to their “woke,” “social justice” and grievance/victimhood-based lexicon with alacrity.

“Wimmin: A nonstandard spelling of the word ‘women’ used by feminists to avoid the word ending ‘men.’”

Women: A standard English word used by feminists and others to avoid sounding like complete lunatics.

Michael Gilson | May 7, 2023 at 9:20 pm

Isn’t ‘wimmin’ and ‘wimminfolk’ deep south and / or Appalachia dialect? Are those areas now considered to be the epitome of feminism?

I’m sorry. I can’t get too excited over this kind of linguistic nit-picking from people who use “there”, “their”, and “they’re” interchangeably. Not meaning anybody on this comment section obviously, but far too common anywhere in the internet.

irishgladiator63 | May 8, 2023 at 1:51 pm

The real question is what kind of sammiches can wimmin make?

Wouldn’t the plural of “wimmin” be “wimmins”, as in “some of ‘da wimmins is in the menstrual hut”?
