Fox News taped hundreds of migrants filing into Brownsville, TX, overnight.

Fox News reported that border patrol agents encounter “migrants at a rate of 2,000 a day in Brownsville.” The border patrol has encountered over 32,000 migrants (8,000 a day) across the whole border in the first four days of May.

Title 42 started in March 2020 due to COVID. It allowed the U.S. to quickly send people back to Mexico.

Title 42 is supposed to end on May 11 when the COVID national emergency is also supposed to end.

Officials are worried about a massive surge once it goes away:

But the looming end to the order next week has led to fears of a renewed surge at the border, with prior Department of Homeland Security estimates warning that there could be up to 14,000 migrant encounters a day. The latest footage suggests that may not be an exaggeration.

The Biden administration has been scrambling to implement measures to reduce the number of illegal crossings and establish a more orderly process. The administration also announced this week that it is sending 1,500 troops to the border, although officials have said they won’t be engaging with migrants but acting in a supporting role to Customs and Border Protection.

It has also proposed a rule that would, in theory, bar migrants from asylum eligibility if they enter illegally and have also failed to claim asylum in a country through which they have already passed.

It has also announced it is expanding legal pathways with migrant processing centers being established throughout Latin America. Officials also announced a number of collaborative measures with Mexico — including an agreement for Mexico to take non-Mexican migrant deportations.

2,000 a day, in one town.
Beetlejuice is pissy about 9,000 total.
Lube the buses, men.

The RINOs in Congress aren’t even PRETENDING to care about it at this point.

What Donald Trump is enduring for the benefit of our country is insane, and would break anyone other than an extraordinary person.

Abbott should take action. Texas has a right to defend itself.

For all Power given with trust for the attaining an end, being limited by that end, whenever that end is manifestly neglected, or opposed, the trust must necessarily be forfeited, and the Power devolve into the hands of those that gave it, who may place it anew where they shall think best for their safety and security.

There you go reading and thinking. Just stop it. It’s like you think you can think, and should. What’s with all this individuals, human rights, and govts that work as intended, crap?

If you were supposed to think, or had any standing, we’d have organized all the things differently. One more time: Livestock ain’t supposed to think, beyond solving immediate problems like replacing printer paper, so they can do their designated thing, n we get our rake off. Livestock doesn’t need to be be “educated”, rather “trained.”

/Prole-wrangling changes … Can we do a retrospective on this guy; figure out where we screwed up with the programming?

We may call them migrants, but to the Biden Admin they are newly minted Dem voters.

I call them illegal aliens, although I agree with what you say the Biden Administration thinks of them.

Olly olly all in free
You know they won’t ever get deported, like all who came before and are still here if they want to be.

Title 42 became useless on 1/20/21.

CommoChief in reply to RepublicanRJL. | May 6, 2023 at 9:03 am

We don’t need Title 42. Instead we need the Federal govt to enforce the laws on the books and operate from the presumption that their duty is to protect the Nation’s Citizens, our National borders and not abstract concepts pushed out in a manipulated manner to prey upon our own decency.

[catastrophic] [anthropogenic] immigration reform (CAIR) in lieu of emigration reform.

Here’s an issue ripe for stealing, if only The Feckless R’s were interested in winning as a party, governing in office, or doing the “for the people” part.

To me it always has been Leftists ( now Marxists) don’t like the immigration laws standing now so cry they are not working.
