Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Admits Authoritarian Orders Were “More Than We Needed to Do”

“Michigan Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has mastered the aw-shucks authoritarianism shtick.”

Speaking with Chris Wallace, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer finally admitted that some of her orders were authoritarian. She didn’t use authoritarian, but that’s what she meant to say:

WHITMER: “You know, there were moments where, you know, we had to make some decisions that in retrospect don’t make a lot of sense, right? If you went into the hardware store, you could go to the hardware store, but we didn’t want people all congregating around the gardening supplies. People say, ‘Oh, she’s outlawed seeds.’ It was February in Michigan, no one was planting anyway. But that being said, you know, some of those policies I look back and think maybe it what was a little — a little more than what we needed to do.”

Good point, Peter. On April 24, 2020, Bridge Michigan reported that the restrictions would be lifted on April 9th.

The revised order allows any store that sells non-essential items to reopen for curbside pickup and product delivery. Big box stores can reopen paint, flooring and gardening sections that Whitmer had ordered closed on April 9.

Garden stores, nurseries, lawn care, pest control and landscaping companies that reopen must enforce social-distancing rules, and any businesses with in-person workers must provide employees with non-medical grade face masks.

The William Kristol crowd wants her to be the GOP presidential nominee in 2024. Brilliant.

My buddy who owns a little hardware store did three years of business during the year we played Covid.

How much wealth did Michigan lose from that type of decision?

Oopsie, my bad! But we’re all good, amirite? C’mon, I said I was sorry … sort of. Let’s just make bygones be bygones, m’kay?

a little more than what we needed to do
No, dear, it was a lot more than you had any authority to do.

I wish the redneck “kidnappers” had succeeded, and immobilizd her “maybe a little more than they needed to.”

If you’re not resigning and personally paying resitution to the michiganders you hurt, you still come off as [REDACTED]

The red liberal whore enjoyed every minute of it.

The woman from planned parent/hood, and protagonist in the FBI-led Whitmer-event.

“Her heavy-handed decisions crushed businesses, student achievement and livelihoods in our state and none of her lies can hide these horrible but true facts.”

If you or I egregiously and aggressively deprived another person their civil rights in these matters, the state AG or fed DOJ would see us in prison, or at the very least, heavily fined as punishment.

This vile oppressive witch deprived millions of their civil rights. Unless or until Witchmer receives the same or greater punishment, it’s all just **clown world**

Stay home while my husband and I go to the lake …. oh and to the boat storage guy – would you please prioritize the launching of my boat?

She prohibited the sale of gardening supplies in April, not February. She deliberately lied to make her detractors look silly and unreasonable and the media just nodded and played along.

Not just more than they needed to do but more than they have the authority to do. They don’t care about the limits that should be on their power because they are the good people and that makes all their actions good.

If you look carefully in their state constitutions, you’re likely to find that the limits that should be on their power actually are on their power. They just go ahead, ignore them, and do what they please. And unless you’re brazen enough to say, “no, you don’t have this authority,” they steamroll right over you. And if you are, they try to bluff you. And if you don’t bluff, they really don’t know what to do about you.

Once an authoritarian, always an authoritarian.

All it will take is a touch of adversity or opposition, and the dictatress will re-emerge.

She should be saying any of this. She should be dancing at the end of a rope.

I absolutely cannot stand this woman. I detest her. But, I find her strangely attractive.

I’ll say something complimentary about Gretchen Whitmer: She’d look very stylish and at-home in a gray uniform, high-top boots, and carrying a riding crop.

Spell it correctly – wHitler. Where the hell is the meteor when you need it?
She’s still a CoC violation.

She did so because she is low intelligence, fascist control freak who likes to hurt people. She has been her entire life.

“More than we needed to do”, but so, so much less than we wanted to.

Next time…
