Study Shows Natural Immunity From Covid as Protective as Vaccination

Question: Where do all the naturally immune employees who were fired because they didn’t want to also be vaccinated go to get an apology, their jobs back, and lost wages?

During the past three years of ineffective covid response, social media managers have deemed as “misinformation” claims that natural immunity obtained after a covid infection is at least as protective as vaccination.

However, a recent study shows that those claims were quite factual.

Immunity acquired from a Covid infection provides strong, lasting protection against the most severe outcomes of the illness, according to research published Thursday in The Lancet — protection, experts say, that’s on par with what’s provided through two doses of an mRNA vaccine.

Infection-acquired immunity cut the risk of hospitalization and death from a Covid reinfection by 88% for at least 10 months, the study found.

“This is really good news, in the sense that protection against severe disease and death after infection is really quite sustained at 10 months,” said the senior study author, Dr. Christopher Murray, the director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.

The acquired immunity appears to be effective for all covid variants.

The researchers, from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation COVID-19 Forecasting Team, said their study is the largest review yet of available data on the subject. The study, published Thursday in The Lancet, is a meta-analysis that looks at 65 studies from 19 countries.

Ten-month immunity after COVID-19 infection seems strong against all variants of the coronavirus, the study found.

“There’s quite a long sustained protection against severe disease and death, almost 90% at 10 months. It is much better than I had expected, and that’s a good thing for the world, right? Given that most of the world has had omicron,” said Dr. Chris Murray, director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington. “It means there’s an awful lot of immunity out there.”

Yet the “experts” are still pushing vaccination.

“Vaccination is the safest way to acquire immunity, whereas acquiring natural immunity must be weighed against the risks of severe illness and death associated with the initial infection,” lead author Stephen Lim from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine said in a statement.

The authors suggested that the data could be used for guidance on when individuals should get vaccinated.

“Vaccines continue to be important for everyone in order to protect high-risk populations such as those who are over 60 years of age and those with comorbidities,” study author Caroline Stein said in a statement. “This also includes populations that have not previously been infected and unvaccinated groups, as well as those who were infected or received their last vaccine dose more than six months ago. Decision makers should take both natural immunity and vaccination status into consideration to obtain a full picture of an individual’s immunity profile.”

Where do they go? To a lawyer.

All of which supports the conclusion that the purpose of the injections wasn’t to prevent infection or transmission, or to alleviate symptoms – it was to make billions of dollars for a few pharmaceutical companies.

More durable and robust. The nucleocapsid is less likely to mutate than the spike protein. The spike protein is known to be pathogenic. How you get infected matters to viral viability (i.e. disease progression) and developed immunity.

What a surprise!

No way! Who would have thought that being infected organically by a virus was a better option? How could anyone have known that a controversial, synthetic substitute ginned up in the lab of a pharmaceutical company, purchased in bulk by govt who coerced private employers to follow their lead of a jab mandate, creating massive profits for politically favored entities, would have less efficacy despite the vastly underreported risks of using an experimental process in its creation? /s

I will never forget a very accomplished pediatric nurse urging me and my wife to get vaccinated right after we had a covid infection. It boggled my mind that somebody who really should know better was asking me to get vaccinated against the disease I just had.

I don’t seem able to understand how so many people supported something so silly.

Fear, they had everyone, well a large MAJORITY, believing up was down amd black was white…

Agreed about the fear angle. Covid was hyped via fear porn into a far larger threat than it was. Initially it may have been understandable that the public reacted this way, especially for those elderly and those with weak immune systems.

Many of us wondered what the arm waving and screaming was going to accomplish. If it was as virulent as initially claimed then modern transportation would spread it worldwide. Anything less than professional level PPE wouldn’t do jack to stop it and we knew that on day one. If the original strain was as deadly as claimed by Oxford then either it would rapidly burn itself out or like every other virus mutate to a less deadly strain.

That HS level knowledge and analysis was immediately tossed aside by the credentialed establishment class. IMO, the reason this went on so long is the narcissism of the establishment. They were ‘too important’ to be put at risk by lesser persons. We saw that with requirements for working class folks when they interacted with the establishment class. Pelosi’s party with prominent d/prog unmasked surrounded by masked servers as one example. Countless tradesmen ordered to wear masks by hypochondriac Karens. The Sec Def wearing both a mask and face shield when reviewing troops whom he ordered to take the jab.

When the resistance to this regime was less than anticipated the establishment class saw an opportunity to extend the crisis for social, economic and political manipulation and took full advantage. Recall the legal arguments at SCOTUS with Justice Sotomayor spouting off absolutely false claims re nearly every aspect of Covid; we could recognize her personal fear had clouded her judgement.

Legacy media was no better. They had a ratings bonanza with a narrative to cast the Red States and working class as uneducated villains bent on killing the rest of the Nation out of ignorance and ideology. Social media then began silencing debate shortly after the Barrington Declaration. Any political figure not on board with the Fauchi’s narrative was made into a monster by the media and the internet trolls.

Now the facts are finally coming out to the mainstream and those of us who refused to be lead by the nose by zealous bureaucrats with an ax to grind, pharmacy companies with snake oil to sell and politicians paralyzed by fear have been proven largely correct. So much so that we have had multiple overtures by establishment minions to demand a Covid amnesty for their actions. Eff that, no one who encouraged or enabled these actions can wriggle off the hook without proper confession, repentance and contrition subject to the penance we set. Then they can be forgiven.

That big paper out of Britain was a really hard pill for me to swallow. It was so blatantly wrong that there is no way it was accidental. And then it was picked up and used to destroy freedom.

Sometimes, very educated people can be incredibly illogical.
I once had a math professor urge me to drop a course that was 1) required and 2) graded pass/no-record because I was a freshman. What advantage could there possibly have been for me to drop it?
(Decades later, it dawned on me that his recommendation might have had something to do with his performance metrics. And yes, I passed.)

Pre-Chinese death kooties a could would lay me up for at least 6 to 8 weeks before I’d be feeling anything remotely human.

Then in Feb 2020 I caught the Chinese Death Kooties (super charged manfluenze/manbola/manflu) which absolutely put me on my arse BUUUUUT within a fortnight I was feeling human again.

The weird thing though is since then I’ve not experienced a cold or flu remotely similar to anything pre 2020 🤔

Just the absolutely weirdest thing.

Could = cold! Fucking fat fingers 🙄

Along with the mask hoax, the damage caused by “do-gooders” purporting to rely on public health and science is incredible, especially to the young, who are not just weaker, but filled with pessimism.

You don’t have to be religious to therefore feel better to see the happenings at Asbury University. People in search of positive meaning and human values. May it catch like wildfire.

Lost wages plus interest plus legal fees +++

All this is slowly playing out as the greatest global disease related disaster in human history. “Technology” and its worship has created this suffering. The “old” science is still better than “The Science (TM)”. Hopefully payback will be an epic “B”.

It’s nice to see that somebody has bothered to look at COVID and confirm the conventional wisdom that existed before COVID.

Meanwhile, the CDC, NIAD, and FDA have been exposed as frauds.

Epoch Times ran 2 articles recently about new diagnosis codes assigned by the CDC for tracking Covid vaccination status. Why it took them a year to post an article about the codes which were created a year ago, I don’t know.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/the-federal-government-is-tracking-the-unvaccinated_5056313.html

https://www.theepochtimes.com/why-experts-are-concerned-about-the-new-medical-codes-for-covid-19-vaccination-status_5053996.html

Wonder if they’re going to get around to telling me something I didn’t know from the beginning of the covidiocy.

Like there had never been a successful vaccine against any coronavirus and there had never been a successful use of mRNA for anything. And that still holds true to this day.

henrybowman in reply to gospace. | February 18, 2023 at 7:35 pm

Idaho and North Dakota both have bills in the hopper making mRNA vaccines illegal.

gospace in reply to henrybowman. | February 18, 2023 at 7:45 pm

I’ve already said if they make the annual flu shots mRNA based- I’m just saying no. Little likelihood of that it appears- the testing phase is going badly.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to gospace. | February 19, 2023 at 9:11 pm

I did not trust mRNA from the start, I am high risk, so in April I got the J&J, I refused boosters and last June caught Wuhan Coronavirus 19, I slept a lot for 2 wks, no really nasty gastric symptoms. Was under the weather total 3-4 wks, an didn’t feel like eating. A fringe benefit was that my blood sugar dropped into the normal range & floaters completely disappeared.

I still find it interesting that those who I know who have received the jab, all tell me or my wife that they either regret it, will not take any booster or feel like they are a walking time bomb. Those of us with natural immunity, I hear of no such concerns from friends or family or coworkers. The vaxx narrative no longer has a hold it once did because the “experts” and their puppets in the media are seen correctly as corrupt, criminal and cowards. As for those of us “Conspiracy Theorists” we are in no mood to compromise nor forgive.

Doctors who take jobs in these agencies or with Pharma … these people have , for the most part, very limited independence. And very few alternative job opportunities.

Most people do not realize this.

If a guy like Fauci decided years ago to walk away from the grift, and try to earn an honest living, he would not be able to work as a doctor seeing patients. He’d have to find another occupation. Or he’d have to go back and complete a residency— at least 3 years, lots of hours, and then a Board-certification exam that generally has about 1/4-1/3 fail rate. Few people are willing to put themselves through that after a certain age.

And so a guy like Fauci got comfortable at NIH, and with some adept sycophancy and mendacity, he never had to find honest employment.

Again, most people don’t realize how limited the occupational options are for a MD who does not see patients.

And so ………… when we see the rot……… when we see the absolute dishonesty that results, we’re shocked.

But really we should not be shocked.

In fact, it could have been worse.

And next time it may well be worse

jqusnr in reply to dr welby. | February 18, 2023 at 7:20 pm

it WILL be worse … Bill Gates is gonna make sure of it… one reason he is buying up all the farm land he can. … you want to eat serf .. go work in my fields.

This is beyond obvious to anyone who understands why we have an IMMUNE SYSTEM. We always report on deaths from diseases because it’s not as exciting to report all the people who actually survived from any malady due to your IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Anyone who got that Vax you’re a sucker and I don’t care what reasoning you use to justify why you got the Vax.

Seasonal gratification with a shot, a jab (e.g. flu). 10 years or more to a safe and effective vaccine.

I don’t think people who had several comorbidities (like old age, heart disease, diabetes, etc). were suckers because they got the vax. Yet you say anyone who did was a sucker.

      n.n in reply to JR. | February 19, 2023 at 1:41 pm

Receiving the jab/shot was an exercise in risk management, and there were certainly individuals with known indicators (e.g. comorbidities) where the risk presented by the virus exceeded the risk of the jab.

“Vaccination is the safest way to acquire immunity, whereas acquiring natural immunity must be weighed against the risks of severe illness and death associated with the initial infection,” lead author Stephen Lim from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine said in a statement.”

Yet, the so-called “vaccines” don’t confer “immunity,” as that term has been historically understood in the medical community. They result in a temporary immune system boost, which wanes in less than six months. That’s properly characterized as an “immune boost,” not “immunity.” Use of the phrase “immunity” to describe the vaccines’ effect is totally dishonest.

chrisboltssr in reply to guyjones. | February 18, 2023 at 10:57 pm

Yes, because there is no risk associated with injecting a synthetic chemical into your body. Science in general should be ashamed for pushing this nonsense, but having shame is not something these overeducated idiots are able to do since they are so enlightened.

Wait. I thought the “vaccine” doesn’t keep people from catching Covid or passing it on to others? So, how is it on par with natural immunity? This makes no sense.

BierceAmbrose in reply to Blackgriffin. | February 19, 2023 at 6:55 pm

    Read carefully what they measured.

For what it does, the jab does as well as natural immunity. Then, there’s the stuff they don’t compare in the referenced report…
