Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders: ‘We Are Under Attack in a Left-Wing Cultural War We Didn’t Start’

“Every day we are told we must partake in their rituals, salute their flags and worship their false idols, all while big government colludes with Big Tech to strip away the most American thing there is, your freedom of speech.”

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders delivered the Republican rebuttal to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union.

Sanders called for new leadership, called out the left’s culture war, and Biden’s atrocious administration.

“It’s time for a new generation to lead,” said Sanders. “This is our moment. This is our opportunity.”

From Grabien:

HUCKABEE SANDERS: “And while you reap the consequences of their failures, the Biden administration seems more interested in woke fantasies than the hard reality Americans face every day. Most Americans simply want to live their lives in freedom and peace, but we are under attack in a left-wing cultural war we didn’t start and never wanted to fight. Every day we are told we must partake in their rituals, salute their flags and worship their false idols, all while big government colludes with Big Tech to strip away the most American thing there is, your freedom of speech. That’s not normal. It’s crazy and it’s wrong.”

Normal or crazy:

HUCKABEE SANDERS: “I’m the first woman to lead my state and he’s the first man to surrender his presidency to a woke mob that can’t even tell you what a woman is. In the radical left’s America, Washington taxes you and lights your hard-earned money on fire, but you get crushed with high gas prices, empty grocery shelves and our children are taught to hate one another on account of their race, but not to love one another or our great country. Whether Joe Biden believes this madness or is simply too weak to resist it, his administration has been completely hijacked by the radical left. The dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy. It’s time for a new generation of Republican leadership.”

Biden is unfit:

HUCKABEE SANDERS: “100,000 Americans a year are now killed from drug overdoses, largely from fentanyl pouring across our southern border. Yet, the Biden administration refuses to secure the border and save American lives. And after years of Democrat attacks on law enforcement and calls to defund the police, violent criminals roam free while law-abiding families live in fear. Beyond our border, from Afghanistan to Ukraine, from North Korea to Iran, President Biden’s weakness puts our nation and the world at risk. And the President’s refusal to stand up to China, our most formidable adversary, is dangerous and unacceptable. President Biden is unwilling to defend our border, defend our skies and defend our people. He is simply unfit to serve as commander-in-chief.”

Biden has failed you:

HUCKABEE SANDERS: “America is great because we are free, but today our freedom is under attack and the America we love is in danger. President Biden and the Democrats have failed you and it’s time for a change. A new generation of Republican leaders are stepping up not to be caretakers of the status quo, but to be change-makers for the American people. We know not what the future holds, but we know who holds the future in his hands. And with God as our witness, we will show the world that America is still the place where freedom reigns and liberty will never die. Thank you. God bless you and God bless America.”

Sanders also teased her new education bill:

TY Mary,, this is the speech that I wanted to see.. Some people thought it was dull, I was deeply moved. The story about the Christmas visit.. I was spell bound.. Normal vs crazy..yup… I think it is down to us against socialism, and global tyranny. A disturbing time, especially if you are an older person.
What I noticed was the tone,, Gov. Huckabee was calm, and measured.
Name Me One was drugged up… at least I thought so.
Personally, I have a very dim view of nepotism, and that always gives me some hesitation wr to this young governor. But I wish her every success.

Nepotism only so far as it wasn’t affirmative discrimination. Otherwise, she will prove her mettle in turn, and she is on the right path.

It isn’t really nepotism when she’s elected, even if she is filling her father’s shoes by extension. The problem with Murkowski isn’t her last name, it’s her stupidity.

I was blown away. These rebuttals are usually dull talking points. This one was unforgettable, a take no prisoners indictment of our current government.

This sort of basic policy outline is the template for success. Keep it simple and relatable for voters. No need for much else other than an unwavering commitment to see it done despite the howls of outrage, especially from the establishment. Take the fight to them and make them beat you. For example if the Congressional establishment refused to include funding for a border wall then a truly based President would use their veto power instead of giving in and signing the bill. That would create a highly visible confrontation on an up/down vote over a single issue without the usual nuance and BS the establishment often hides behind.

Adding to Sarah’s case against China Joe,

Allegedly ordered directly by Chinese agent code named Corn Pop operating in the White House.

“As long as Europe remained dependent on the pipelines for cheap natural gas, Washington was afraid that countries like Germany would be reluctant to supply Ukraine with the money and weapons it needed to defeat Russia.”

Now, why would any country not want to be an ally of the USA?

Still, they knew before hand and signed off on it. So did Sweden and Finland. The US is the largest producer and export of natgas, a curious game being played by China Joe.

My being one of the 7 billion “surplus population” they want to eliminate in the interest of saving Gaia, I’m feeling all warn and fuzzy inside knowing that these are the writhing snakes running everything.

So many imperfect candidates and officials emerging under the R banner, so much better than The Screaming D’s or what we’ve been seeing from the official Feckless R’s.

The US system is so two-party locked up, you only get in under one of the major parties or the other. So, do that. The Feckless R’s are easier to take than The Screaming D’s, so do that.

Interesting to me is my impression that several consequential presidents in the last 50 years or so have been insurgents the parties got behind when the guy was winning, not the apparatus’ pick to start.
