GA Gov. Kemp Calls Up 1,000 National Guard Troops, Declares State of Emergency
“Georgians respect peaceful protests but do not tolerate acts of violence against persons or property.”
Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp declared a state of emergency and called 1,000 National Guard troops ahead of the weekend due to potential riots in Atlanta.
“That because of unlawful assemblage, violence, overt threats of violence, disruption of the peace and tranquility of this state and danger existing to persons and property, a State of Emergency is declared in the State of Georgia,” wrote Kemp.

Defend the Forest, a far-leftist group associated with Antifa, has caused trouble for months by stopping officials from building a training facility. Things blew up last weekend, literally, after one of them shot a state trooper, who returned fire and killed one of the terrorists.
The 26-year-old shot the state trooper on January 18th when authorities tried “to remove encamped activists from the construction site.” The officers shot back and killed the protester.
The Antifa thugs promised a Night of Rage:
Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum told reporters that multiple protesters were found with explosive devices on them. One of the devices was used to set an Atlanta Police car on fire.
Protesters — who hit the streets after calls for a “Night of Rage” by Antifa members — were also seen throwing bricks at Atlanta Police Department vehicles smashing property, 11Alive reported.
At least six people were arrested and three businesses were damaged, police said.
Just before 7 p.m., police said “order has been restored to the downtown space.”
“Georgians respect peaceful protests but do not tolerate acts of violence against persons or property,” Kemp added.
Kemp made the moves just in case the Antifa terrorists, mostly white children of privilege, decide to attack the city this weekend.

Since the cops have been arrested and charged and there is no race component. What does the Soros Army expect? Everyone gets a fair trial.
Not related. The violence in Atlanta is based on an Antifa thug who shot at police getting shot and killed himself. The beating death you are referring to happened in Tennessee.
And let’s add even more context. There’s the Tennessee we know and love and then there’s Memphis. This was in Memphis and all 6 cops that beat the black guy to death were also black.
Memphis. The city where I make sure I have plenty of fuel and keep right on driving.
I-40 goes through Memphis and has a typical loop around the town that you get on if you need to stop and you hope that food, gas, and lodging is in the better parts of town but it is a crap shoot.

I’m gonna take a pass on advocating for the NG and LEO to be given, much less follow, shoot to kill orders. That seems a very bad idea. Short hop to that being used wide scale v legitimate protest.
A business owner or citizen defending themselves, their family is another thing. As would be LEO or NG defending themselves.

The citizen or business owner has no qualified immunity and in the present atmosphere, the “mere civilian” is the one arrested.
The domestic terrorist has a mask, a hoodie, and dark cloths just like a dozen other attackers and does not stand out in a crowd of other similarly out fitted hoodlums and melts back into the neighborhood after their foul deed is done but the store owner is left with very few options and open to retaliation. Subsequent attacks often destroy the building leaving the owner with a burned out building in an undesirable location and no future property insurance.
I will easily settle for arrest and actual prosecution with teeth against looters and only shoot to kill on an arsonist that tries to burn a structure containing innocent people. Otherwise they can also rot in jail and their guards should be J6 prisoners.

The system is white. That’s the new excuse. Crump looked almost defeated in his press conference that he couldn’t put up a white face to attack.
When the system really WAS white, we had far more peace and order in the streets than we have now.
Twitter is still protecting feeling of the least reputable blacks. I really wish more blacks were smarter and that their culture had traits which help them succeed. I take no pleasure in their failures, because those harm all of society. The black Bell Curve has a spike around 80, while the overall group average is 85. There is a chicken or egg problem, is 85 IQ driving culture or the other way around? Good cultural traits do a great deal for improving outcome.

Since someone brought up the Memphis incident, I don’t know the facts in that case, but I do know that any case that’s being made by Crump and Sharpton has no merit. Whichever side they’re on, the other side is probably right.
