The results from Tuesday might put America back to where she was on Monday…almost. The Red Wave did not happen.
The Republicans might come out with a lead in the Senate and the House. If they do, it will be a small majority. But the Senate might end up back at 50/50.

Because it is true. We do not have the final results but the writing is on the wall.
The Senate could end up at 50/50 again. The GOP’s House majority will be small.
So where does America stand after Tuesday night? Well, for some reason, no one can properly count votes.
I mean, look at the Senate map. It hasn’t changed much number-wise. We might end up deadlocked again, with the GOP maybe taking two seats.
Fetterman beat Oz in Pennsylvania.
Nevada GOP Senate candidate Adam Laxalt is up on Democrat incumbent Catherine Cortez=Masto, 50% to 47%, with 75% of the precincts reporting.
Arizona Democrat incumbent Senator Mark Kelly is up on GOP candidate Blake Masters 52% to 46%, with 66% of the precincts reporting.
Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson is holding on against Democrat candidate Mandela Barnes, 51% to 49%, with 94% of precincts reporting.
Georgia is Georgia again! Will they go to a runoff? It’s possible. Democrat incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock is leading GOP candidate Herschel Walker, 49.4% to 48.5%.
The GOP will likely land control of the house, but the incoming results and information show it will be small.
The party grabbed a few seats on Tuesday night. They won VA-02, kicking out January 6th Committee member Elaine Luria and elected Jen Kiggans.
It’s not official yet, but in OR-5, Republican candidate Lori Chavez-DeRemer leads Democrat candidate Jamie McLeod-Skinner 51.11% to 48.89%.
The GOP lost a seat when Democrat Greg Landsman defeated GOP incumbent Steve Chabot in OH-1. Chabot has represented the district since 1995.
GOP candidate Monica De La Cruz won the newly redrawn TX-15 district.
GOP flipped NY-03! George Santos defeated Democrat Robert Zimmerman. I know some hate identity politics, but it’s the first time two openly gay men ran against each other in a congressional district. Very cool. AND THE REPUBLICAN WON.
GOP lost TX-34. Rep. Mayra Flores won the seat in June after a special election, but her Democrat opponent Vicente Gonzalez defeated her last night.
The GOP also lost the MI-3 seat to Democrat Hillary Scholten. The GOP ousted sitting Rep. Peter Meijer in the primary, picking Trump-endorsed John Gibbs.
Republican Kari Lake still has a shot beating Democrat Katie Hobbs, who leads the former 50.9% to 49.1% with only 63% of the precincts reporting.
Huge that Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp beat sitting Gov. Stacey Abrams! Hahaha. This time Abrams conceded. Maybe she learned her lesson?
I doubt Robert Francis O’Rourke has, even though Texas Gov. Greg Abbott crushed him last night. Brit Hume called O’Rourke the Charlie Crist of Texas.
Did you know Crist is the first to lose statewide elections as a Republican, Democrat, and Independent?
Michigan Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer held her seat.
Nevada GOP candidate Joe Lombardo has a lead on democrat incumbent Steve Sisolak, 50.6^ to 45.8% with 72% of the votes counted.
Oregon GOP candidate Christine Drazan can still beat Democrat candidate Tina Kotek! Kote leads 45.7% to 44.7%. Independent Betsy Johnson sits at 8.8%. So that one is still possible for a GOP pickup, which would be huge!
Well… we don’t know much yet, but…it’s obviously going to be dreary for the Republicans no matter what.
As I said before, the writing is on the wall.
Yes, voting machines sucked and ruined everything, and no doubt the Chicago Way leaked to other places across the country.
The Republicans still need to do better. How have they failed a lot since 2010? I don’t get it.
Do the Republicans want to win? Look at Florida. The state is the blueprint of success that both parties could use.
Also, HOW does the Republican Party explain sticking with former President Donald Trump when Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis destroyed Charlie Crist and won Miami-Dade County? The first time a Republican governor won that county since 2002. I would like the GOP to answer that question.
Marco Rubio has been around for a while, but he also crushed it against Val Demmings despite the Democrats shoving her down everyone’s throats.
I’m saying the Republican Party at the national level should look at DeSantis and the Florida Republican Party and learn from them. Shoot, any political party could learn a lot from Florida.
Republicans, while America still has early and absentee voting, take advantage of it. Florida processes and counts those ballots immediately instead of waiting until Election Day or when the polls close. The state really progressed from the 2020 fiasco.
