Biden Silent as World Leaders Congratulate Netanyahu While Palestinian Terror Groups Fire Rockets From Gaza

Biden Silent as World Leaders Congratulate Netanyahu While Palestinian Terror Groups Fire Rockets From Gaza

Sen. Ted Cruz: “President Biden rushed to call Lula, a committed anti-American Chavista, but is finding every possible excuse not to call the next Prime Minister of Israel.”

The news of Israel’s former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returning to power has been welcomed by several world leaders and has left Palestinian terrorist groups rattled.

The final vote count showed the Netanyahu-led alliance winning 65 seats in Tuesday’s election, giving him a comfortable majority in the 120-seat parliament. Netanyahu’s own Likud emerged as the biggest party with 31 seats, and he is expected to get support from like-minded right-wing parties to form the next government.

The clear outcome breaks a political deadlock that resulted in five elections since 2019 in Israel. Attempts by centrist and left-wing parties to form an ‘Anyone-But-Bibi’ government failed to build stable ruling coalitions, paving the way for Israel’s longest-serving prime minister to return to office after a gap of seventeen months.

Modi, Orbán, and Meloni Congratulate Bibi, Biden White House Silent

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hungary’s leader Viktor Orbán, and Italy’s newly-elected PM Giorgia Meloni were among the first world leaders to congratulate Netanyahu.

President Joe Biden, who congratulated Brazil’s President-elect Luiz da Silva hours after the result was announced, has so far not reached out to Netanyahu.

Writing in The Washington Free Beacon, Adam Kredo noted Biden’s White House’s cold response to the Israeli election result:

Asked on Thursday afternoon if President Joe Biden has any plans to phone Netanyahu following his victory this week in the Israeli elections, a White House spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon , “We don’t have any call to preview at this point.”

Biden called Brazil’s newly elected far-left president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on Monday, just a day after that country’s elections. This discrepancy is fueling accusations the Biden administration is taking a chilly approach to its diplomacy with Netanyahu, who made history by being elected as Israel’s prime minister for the third time.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told the Free Beacon that the president’s delay in calling Netanyahu “is not an accident.”

“President Biden rushed to call Lula, a committed anti-American Chavista, but is finding every possible excuse not to call the next Prime Minister of Israel. That is not an accident,” Cruz said. “Biden has spent his entire administration undermining America’s allies and boosting America’s enemies. The next Republican Congress is going to leverage aggressive oversight and legislation to reverse that recklessness.”

Texas Senator Ted Cruz and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo were among the leading Republicans to congratulate the former Israeli prime minister on his comeback.

Netanyahu’s Return Rattles Palestinian Terrorist Groups, Rockets Fired From Gaza

The Iran-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group fired rockets from Gaza into southern Israel as Netanyahu’s election victory was confirmed on Thursday evening.

The Israeli response was swift, with the Israel Defense Forces destroying an underground Hamas rocket factory. “The Israeli army confirmed it had struck targets in the Gaza Strip Friday morning, responding to earlier rockets fired by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group,” the Israel TV channel i24News reported late Thursday. “According to the military, the attack targeted an underground facility used by Hamas to develop rockets.”

Other Palestinian groups and terror outfits appear just as outraged at Netanyahu’s return. “The prospect of Benjamin Netanyahu returning to power at the head of one of the most right-wing coalitions in Israeli history has prompted concern among Palestinians,” Reuters reported Friday.

The news agency reported the Hamas’ and PLO’s responses:

“No doubt the result of such a coalition will increase the hostile attitude towards the Palestinian people and make occupation measures more extreme,” Bassam Salhe, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, told Reuters in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, which has fought several wars with Israel over the last decade, predicted the results meant more potential violence.

“It is clear that the Israelis are leaning towards more extremism, which also means aggression against our people would increase,” Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem told Reuters.

“Netanyahu-led governments that launched several wars against our Palestinian people, and the presence of the most extreme figures in a coalition means that we are going to face more of the Zionist terrorism,” he said.

All those JINOs who voted for this demented screw-up of a President should be tickled that the President is treating a duly elected leader like an outcast. Like 0bama before him, this President is an ally to our adversaries and an adversary to our allies.

Most of the Jews who voted for this demented screw-up of a president agree with him about Netanyahu, and especially about Ben-Gvir. They ostracized Kahane while he was alive, and they can’t stand being reminded of him. So they’re happy with how Biden’s handlers are telling him to treat Netanyahu.

(I notice you’ve adopted my long-time practice of spelling the 0’s name with a 0.)

      1. My anecdotal encounters with leftists mean nothing I am sure plenty of people have spoken exclusively with more socialist than corporatist leftists. What does mean something is data and data shows Americans both sides including the left back Israel so no your wrong leftist Jews do support Israel.

      2. Could that be because someone who had an idea that the United States was going to do a Holocaust, who advocated no votes for Arabs in Israel is an embarrassment? He wasn’t racist like the left claims but he was nuts and an advocate of what would have if he had become mainstream the Jewish equivalent of the Inquisition (there is no other way to describe a one religion enforced by law country); and his ideas have been correctly rejected by the Israeli right both now and when he was alive. The Israeli right does generally encourage higher religiosity; it doesn’t discourage practice of other religions in Israel, nor should it.

Excuse me, but the correct spelling of 0’s name is: O-Bow-Mao

ZERO Democrats came to the opening of the embassy in Jerusalem, ZERO Democrats came to the signing of the Abraham Accords at the WH.
Their Jewish supporters still voted for Dementia Joe, they don’t give a damn about Israel.

He’s not prime minister yet. He still has to put together a government, which will take at least weeks, and may yet fail the way it failed the first time around.

And don’t expect the eventual coalition to be the alliance he put together before the election. Now that the election is over he will be looking for an opportunity to dump Ben-Gvir, whom he like the rest of the Israeli establishment (of which he sees himself as a member despite its rejection of him) hates and feels embarrassed by. They, especially the establishment political right, can’t stand the fact that everyone now knows Kahane was right. They have to continue demonizing him, even after he’s been 32 years in the grave.

Also, Ben-Gvir wants to be in charge of the police and homeland security, and Degel objects to that.

He’ll reach out to Gantz, offering him the world so he will come in from the cold and “rescue” the country from the prospect of a government with Ben-Gvir in it.

Joe Biden received his congratulations from world leaders when it became clear Donald Trump’s lawsuits were all frivolous (so when court fillings showed lack of any claims of anything actionable).

That wait to see what Trump filled to make sure not to prematurely congratulate the wrong winner is the only modern example of a president elect not being congratulated by world leaders as soon as the election ended.

There is zero room to doubt Netanyahu won the election making Biden’s doing this a very clear snub.

While the left wing voter likes Israel (the last source of agreement between Dem and Republican) the liberal establishment most definitely hates Israel and Biden is their agent.

Dotard-marionette, Biden’s, cold shoulder to Netanyahu’s election victory evinces typical, infantile Dhimmi-crat moral cowardice and Jew-hate. We previously saw a similar stunt with narcissist-incompetent, Obama’s, juvenile antics and petulant discourtesy displayed towards Netanyahu, making him wait for hours beyond his scheduled appointment time, in order to see His Royal Highness.

The vile Dhimmi-crats will readily embrace and show undeserved deference to corrupt terrorist-thug, Abbas and his Muslim supremacist/terrorist ilk, but, these reprobates can’t bring themselves to show a modicum of courtesy and respect to an Israeli leader who stands up for Israel’s right to exist, and, defends its right to exist unmolested by the belligerent, genocide-aspiring predations of Arab Muslim terrorist-fanatics.

Yes yes yes, it isn’t the racial politics and the CRT and other theories that would make a country like Israel a villain; it isn’t applying the same principles they apply at home for who is right or wrong it is a shadowy cabal of fake Muslims who don’t exist pulling the Democrats string.

    One bit of advice

If you aren’t a Democrat STFU about the dehumanizing Muslims already (and if you are you are doing a fine job of making us look bad); Muslims are starting to come home to our party they are starting to forgive us for the war on terror. It is a grace we most definitely did not earn with decades of dehumanizing them, setting the FBI on them to frame young men and launch entrapment campaigns on mentally ill Muslims,

When you have the urge to claim that the reason Dems do bad things is Muslims make them STFU.

If you sound like a member of Anton Denikin’s army STFU; Dems are shedding Muslim voters Muslims are not responsible for anything the Democrats are up to.

When you tell me Democrats calling us Jewicans and blaming Jews for foreign policy they don’t like isn’t anti-Semitic you could try that blame Muslims first thing.

The only way the Liberal Establishment would back Israel is if Israel was a third world hell hole that was claiming to be black (if you forgot what the Dems racialist ideology was please double check). Instead Israel is one of the most successful nations on this planet and is the last thing that could bring Americans together.

TLDR-We are a religion based party not a band of religious bigots knock of the dehumanization of Muslims.

“…setting the FBI on them to frame young men and launch entrapment campaigns on mentally ill Muslims,”

Oh, it’s not just Muslims. Nor is the FBI the only TLA working hard to meet quota by entrapping folks with cognitive limits. I refer to the (other) bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Fire-Arms, Explosives, (and Really Big Fires.)

Biden* keeping his lie-hole closed for once is a bad thing?

Steven Brizel | November 4, 2022 at 3:16 pm

Biden’s conduct is predicated on the fact that his Middle East team has a lot of people who are viciously anti Israel and pro appeasment of Iran and who still dream of a two state solution with Israel being the loser in any such deal

I wonder if President Trump congratulated BiBi. I know BiBi was the first to congratulate Biden, that had to hurt Trump, but BiBi was trying to save Israel from Biden and the other antisemites.

Danny in reply to gonzotx. | November 4, 2022 at 3:54 pm

Boris Johnson was first to congratulate Biden, and Netanyahu wasn’t second either.

World leaders waited a lot longer than they usually do to send the congratulations because when Trump didn’t concede he claimed he would file a court challenge. When that challenge lacked any claim of voter fraud or voter suppression world leaders lined up to try to do business with Biden because they have responsibilities to their people.

You may not realize it but you very much are insulting Trump’s intelligence to suggest he would take offense to that.

World leaders waited to see what Trump would bring to court; when it was the definition of frivolous lawsuits they congratulated Biden.

Surprised? Brandons handlers running things are Obama’s men who hated Israel and Bibi famously making him wait in the kitchen of the WH. Beta males react to Alphas in such ways

You have to take your hat off to Bidens determination to be irrelevant 😂😂

Biden is worried Bibi will tear up that stupid appeasement of his buddies in Iran over the gasfields which strengthened the Iran backed Lebanese Government over Israel.

Dear Bibi,

There’s a team. You ain’t on it.

It’s interesting isn’t it, Leftists around the world rush to congratulate Lula for his win in Brazil, but when a democratic election results in someone from the Right winning there seems to be total silence.

Does the Left no longer believe in democracy?

I’ll pay attention to what the “Palestinians” think about Israeli elections when they actually have one themselves.
Seems like the terrorist Abbas is in the 5th or 6th extension of his “presidency”.
Sort of like Poutine.
Joe the Slow could only wish for such a plan in the US!

BierceAmbrose | November 5, 2022 at 5:59 pm

With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy, I think there’s a “You might be irrelevant.” bit for President-ish Biden.

When you’re ignored by Saudi, Iran, China, Russia, Britain, India, Germany, and Israel… you might be irrelevant.
