Pro-choice student charged for throwing urine at pro-life activistsVirginia law enforcement charged a pro-choice student with assault for allegedly throwing urine at pro-life activists.“The William & Mary College Police Department have confirmed that they arrested the pro-abortion student who threw urine at Students for Life of America (SFLA) group members last month,” Students for Life wrote on its website. “The offender was arrested on October 3, 2022 and charged with two counts of assault.”Pro-life students are accustomed to vandalism and harassment, SFLA wrote, but the targeting “hit a new low when pro-lifers had a cup of urine thrown at them.”The incident occurred in September during a display of the pro-life organization’s “Abortion is Not Right” tour, according to a September 20 blog entry. The national pro-life organization wrote at the time:

Given the conscious efforts to prohibit illnesses being spread on campus, you’d like to think someone wouldn’t recklessly risk the health and cleanliness of a fellow student for simply holding pro-life values. Unfortunately, SFLA student Jonathan Kenney was subjected to such a grotesque act when a pro-abortion peer hurled a cup of urine at him while walking by the Abortion Is Not Right display.SFLA’s president, Kristan Hawkins, thanked law enforcement for investigating the issue.

“We are grateful to the William & Mary Police Department for effectively doing their jobs and protecting our pro-life free speech,” Hawkins said. “Hopefully, this arrest will remind the intolerant abortion lobby that they cannot get away with such abusive behavior towards pro-lifers. Regardless, the Pro-Life Generation will continue speaking the truth in love wherever we go.”
