VT School District Suspends Dad of Girl Who Complained About Male in Locker Room as Soccer Coach for Misgendering Trans Athlete

As we recently noted, members of the girls’ volleyball team at Randolph Union High School in Vermont are not comfortable sharing a locker room with a transgender member of the team and have been singled out for objecting.
A father of one of the girls is a soccer coach at the middle school and has been suspended for using the wrong pronouns regarding the trans student.

Vermont School District Suspends Father of Girl Who Pushed Back Against Biological Male in Her Locker Room
A Vermont school district under fire for allowing a biologically male student to use the girls’ locker room has suspended a father from his position as soccer coach for using male pronouns to refer to the trans-identifying student.
Travis Allen has been suspended without pay from his job as the Randolph Union Middle School girls soccer coach, Orange Southwest School District Superintendent Layne Millington said in a Tuesday letter. His suspension follows a Daily Signal report highlighting his daughter’s discomfort at a biological male using her locker room while she was changing.
The superintendent, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Signal, said that Allen was being punished because he “misgendered a transgender student in our district.”
Allen’s daughter Blake is one of several young ladies who said they were in the Randolph Union High School locker room changing when the trans-identifying student, a biological male, entered the locker room.

In another twist in the twisted tale of a Vermont girls’ volleyball team ejected from their own locker room due to conflicts with a trans-identifying student who allegedly ogled them, the father of the girl who blew the changing room whistle was dismissed as soccer coach when he refused to publicly apologize for calling the trans student a “boy.” Aside from issues of privacy or gender identification, this raises important questions about government infringement of fundamental free speech rights under the United States and Vermont Constitutions.
The father’s sentiment was not that extreme. In response to a comment by the mother of the trans student on social media, Travis Allen wrote:
“I am the father of the girl you claim ‘made up a story for attention,’” Travis Allen wrote in a Facebook reply to Sivvy. “The truth is your son watched my daughter and multiple other girls change in the locker room. While he got a free show, they got violated.”
The father added: “You think this is fine and dandy. I wonder how you would feel if I watched you undress?”
On the transgender issue, the left is pushing the public too far, too fast, and too hard. We see evidence of that constantly.

It’s the 21st century United States and allegedly educated, chronologically adult human beings are not just indulging in this absolute madness but are punishing the actual, rational adults for pointing out this insanity. It’s as if we’re back in 1692 Salem. Why why WHY are people kowtowing to these lunatics??
Granting that when I was in high school we were studying how to get pieces of flint to emit sparks to start fire, But a couple of thoughts:
1) If I was the father who was suspended from his job with the district, specifically for “misgendering” the trans-sexual in a statement I would a) be looking for another job and right now before the crash hits this economy has fewer workers than open jobs, and b) talking to other school employees who I know share my beliefs and if I could not get them to quit, at least get them to decline the unpaid extracurricular tasks that school districts impose on staff.
2) I would talk to other parents on two subjects once I was free of the school district; first to convince them to NOT volunteer to help with extracurricular activities placing more of a burden on the administration, and second to sort out which members of the school board support this Schiess and see if they can be voted out if we keep having elections.
3) If #2 takes off, since trans-sexual male to females still have more strength and endurance than most of those born female, see if you can get other schools to refuse to compete with the school his daughter goes to.

Perhaps he should consider removing his daughter from that school. And I suspect Florida has decent schools which might need a coach.

You aren’t allowed to object to boys showering with girls in school, even the girls will be punished for rejected it.
Kids don’t shower after sports/PE these days. They are really stinky in class because of it.

I have a friend whose son decided he was female about 4 years ago. Last summer he called his mom and said he was moving back to living as a man because:
