Biden Walks Back “MAGA Republicans Are a Threat” Claim, Beclowning Sycophantic Media And Never-Trumpers

Biden Walks Back “MAGA Republicans Are a Threat” Claim, Beclowning Sycophantic Media And Never-Trumpers

That was then (last night), this is now: “”I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat”

I bet you thought there was nothing so pathetic as Joe “Wartime President” Biden’s hateful, lunatic, insane, demeaning, and otherwise civil-warish speech last night.

Biden was categorical – “MAGA Republicans are a threat.”

Immediately, the usual media and Never-Trump sychophants jumped on board with high praise of this eliminationist rhetoric

[Harwood, a certified Clown Car Journalist, announced he was leaving CNN shortly after this tweet]

Guess what? Joe “Where Am I?” Biden just threw them all under the bus by walking back his comments. No, of course he didn’t mean to say that all MAGA-voters were a threat to the nation.

Joe “Inappropriate Shower” Biden made the media and Never-Trump cheerleading section look like fools (not that they care). There are at least a couple of possibilities for Biden’s walk-back.

Possibility No. 1 – The overnight internal polling was brutal, and the people who whisper things in his ear piece told him to calm down a litle.

Possibility No. 2 – He doesn’t remember what he read from the teleprompter the night before, and lives only in the present moment.

Regardless of the walk-back or the reason, Biden and his handlers are poisonous.

President Ice Cream Cone doesn’t even remember giving a speech last night

“Clear and Present Danger” t-shirts are available on Amazon. Click on that Amazon Smile button above.

Has Joe Biden himself “suffered” all that much? Maybe some of the people around him have, like his daughter and first wife, but ol’ Joe has done pretty well considering what a malicious dunce he is.

Agree 100% with the Jacobson tweet, though have no interest in twitter or the like, so can only “re-tweet” here.

The speech had side effects that Biden hadn’t anticipated. The media didn’t realize that it was only political space preparation to indict enemy-of-democracy Trump for lying to the FBI about classified documents, rather than a general war on the half of the voters that don’t tune them in.

They both beshat and beclowned themselves.

And they are too stupid to know it…

That such a man could attain his office under any circumstances says everything. The populace is decadent and the Chinese will prevail.

Would we had never entered WW2.

Too late, Brandon, you demented imbecile and low IQ thug.

As to Biden, he beclowned himself. Best of all, he further exposed to everyone what a dishonest and cruel person he is. Walking it back emphasizes the complete lack of any principles or shame. Not much different than other authoritarian regimes. Portnoy was not far off.

It’s all part of the plan.

The incitement stands, while the walk-back gives them cover. “No, no, he didn’t mean that. Look what he said the very next day.”

The problem with that gaslighting is you can’t un-ring a bell. Biden knows it. His handlers and their apparatchiks know it. You can pretend you never heard a bell, so it must not have been rung.

This particular bell is a tactic.

Should last night’s Presidential Incitement inspire any “fundamentally transform” true believers to violence, illegal exclusion of the undesirables, or simple othering, the public face of the party is clean — the crazy wing did it on their own.

Should last nigh’s Presidential Incitement inspire any of the rodent, to-be-exterminated “enemies of the people” to violence in their own defense the public face of the party is clean — they did it on their own. And confirm they are the threat he said (but didn’t say.)

Should last night’s PresidentialIncitement inspire any citizens threatened with F-15s and Marines to speak of responding to violence with violence, they’ll block them, isolate them, go after any platforms used by them; they’ll exclude them from peaceful processes like voting; they’ll dismiss any ideas and observations from the “violent fringe” because they’re violent.

It’s part of the plan.

I believe what Zho BiDeng said – in last night’s speech. Period.

Wow, that didn’t come out right. (Note to self: preview is your friend.)

What I meant was not what I said. Well, I meant it, but not in the way I meant it. I mean, I said one thing, but I didn’t mean it that way. I meant it another way. Which is to say that I meant what I didn’t mean. No, that’s not it — I said what I didn’t say. Wait, I almost have it …

You misspelled. It’s Zhou Baideng (周拜邓–Joe who worships deng [Xiaoping, of 06/04/89 infamy]). Years ago, I told my niece that I voted for Trump chiefly because it seems that the Democrats want to disfranchise people like me. I regret to say that Bai-deng’s speech confirmed my concerns.

Nearly two years in, and all the left and their demented puppet want to talk about is a man who left office nearly two years ago.

“Goldstein was the renegade and backslider who once, long ago (how long ago, nobody quite remembered), had been one of the leading figures of the Party, almost on a level with Big Brother himself, and then had engaged in counter-revolutionary activities, had been condemned to death, and had mysteriously escaped and disappeared. The programmes of the Two Minutes Hate varied from day to day, but there was none in which Goldstein was not the principal figure. He was the primal traitor, the earliest defiler of the Party’s purity. All subsequent crimes against the Party, all treacheries, acts of sabotage, heresies, deviations, sprang directly out of his teaching.”

Big Brother malquoted doubleplusungood rewrite fullwise upsub antefiling.

Biden never said Trump supporters were a threat to the country.

That’s just a right-wing idea … much like non-existent antifa is “just an idea” as Joe said during the campaign.

All those assaults and property damage by antifa … ideas! Ideas! That’s all!

Smirk now, sob later.

Good to know that everyone who claims Trump stole the 2016 election is now an extremist threat to democracy

Don’t forget the d/prog who objected to the certification of the electoral college count in 2000 and 2004. Nor those who tout Abrams as the Gov of GA but for a stolen election.

Like buying your wife flowers the morning after beating hell out of her.

What a complete asshole we have for a President.

Seeing the ignominious and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and the burning concern to be sure we have enough LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ brass, it seems that the Democrats want the US military to be chiefly a means to suppress Americans rather than to meet foreign challenges to our peace and sovereignty. Obama’s three terms have been the undoing of our country.

“…it seems that the Democrats want the US military to be chiefly a means to suppress Americans rather than to meet foreign challenges…”

Their antics make sense — policy, legislation, operations, messaging, and military — when you realize that for them we, the US polity, are expendable resources for them to deploy to someone else’s benefit. Like Vice President Biden’s President, our overlord betters are nothing so annoyed as when folks *in* the US act like the government *of* the US is in some sense *for* the US.

“There are those” who are not so enlightened — a more artful way of declaring the un-people than President Brandon’t recent diatribe.

When they tell you who they are; believe them.

What a world we live in

Subotai Bahadur | September 2, 2022 at 10:46 pm

When the politician who has the ability to bring death en-masse to his political enemies publicly declares that those enemies are at war with the country; one does not forget it. That threat is and always will be real. He cannot walk it back.

BierceAmbrose in reply to Subotai Bahadur. | September 3, 2022 at 6:20 pm

Yep, that’s what I heard. “Enemy of the stare, and I got Marines and F-15s.”

Making the threat is itself assault, as in violence, as in a harm that was done. He harmed about half the country. He can’t “walk it back” because the threat itself is a thing that was done already.

Your vote is a clear and present danger to tin-pot dictators.

Ironclaw in reply to Reticulator. | September 3, 2022 at 3:37 am

Doubtful. If voting actually made a difference they wouldn’t let us do it. The system as it is set up allows you to buy into the idea that you voted and therefore are invested in the process. However, it has become increasingly obvious that that process is not honest or trustworthy.

Dimsdale in reply to Ironclaw. | September 3, 2022 at 10:05 am

They vote in NK, don’t they? Or Cuba, or Venezuela.

When the leftists control the vote, it doesn’t matter how you vote. Or if you are even alive, for that matter.

Again with the mean tweets. The Professor is going to lose the suburban housewife LI readers if this keeps up.

Regardless of the walk-back or the reason, Biden and his handlers are poisonous.

They are very dangerous traitors who are completely unhinged from reality.

Literally.

In other good news, John Harwood is out at CNN as of today

I am thinking #2, he doesn’t remember saying it because he didn’t write it, he just read the teleprompter.

Rupert Smedley Hepplewhite | September 3, 2022 at 7:01 am

Given the optics, there’s no walking that shit back. He knew what he was shouting and meant every damned syllable of it.

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt | September 3, 2022 at 7:37 am

By the old gods and the new, I pray for a stroke.

Of course, not for Biden, but for all of his supporters.

Are we allowed to say that?

Too early?

When do we get to call the Regime a danger to America?

He can’t walk this back!

I didn’t mind that. I don’t mind when he fumbles his words. I don’t mind if he looks like the old man he is.

I do mind when he calls me the enemy. That makes him an enemy. He tried to walk it back, but someone got him to give that speech, and that person probably has a lot of influence on his presidency. Nothing personal Joe but you gotta go.

Someone needs to explain to Joe that toothpaste does not go back into the tube

I’m rubber. Joe is glue…

Would like to bet IF the Marxists do get a serious beating in November, and they will pull out every fraud vote they can, they will scream the election was stolen.

Repeat after me: food, water and ammo.

You’ll thank me later.

Stacy Abrams must be going “Wait! What?” at being called a MAGA Republican in refusing to accept election results. Obviously followed by Hillary and other Dems in 2016

He must have slept through the speech.

Republicans should hire Biden to give the rebuttal to Biden’s SOTU speech.

The speech was Obama or his speechwriters. Lots of Obama phrasing that we don’t normally hear from Biden, or at all. “America is an idea” “this is the moment” and others I don’t recall offhand. Biden delivered an Obama speech.

It was also everything we say about it. It was a terrible speech, a terrifying speech. But that’s Obama. Obama had some delivery skills and attributes that let him get away with unbelievably divisive and threatening comments. “Bitter clingers” “a civilian force just as strong as our military” and so on. Obama had some special voice tricks.

Biden delivering the same speech didn’t have the magic, and we saw the speech for what it was. Also the blue and red background, red in the center, was a crazy choice because it can be cropped to pure red. But the words were the real threat.

Then the next day it was Biden, walking back the Obama words he said the day before.

This tells me that to some extent Biden has been sidelined and the Obama faction is taking control of the party and issuing the scorched-earth party line they have adopted.

We have to fight to win. They will try to win by any means necessary, and we want them to lose nevertheless.

BierceAmbrose in reply to artichoke. | September 4, 2022 at 12:16 pm

“The speech was Obama or his speechwriters. … Biden delivered an Obama speech.”

That’s astute. The othering hostility in all of The Lightbringer’s public pronouncements was remakable.

Of these two I think #2 is far more likely. But I’d like to suggest a third possibility: When he said “MAGA Republicans” he didn’t mean all Trump supporters. He has little idea what’s going on in the country, beyond what his handlers let him know, and he thinks “MAGA Republican” is a term that everyone would understand to mean only the most fanatical fringe QAnon types.

I actually had a Democrat try to explain to me today that he only meant people like Richard Spencer. When I pointed out that Spencer is not a Republican of any kind, he replied “Well, he supports Republicans”. I explained that whom he supports is irrelevant, Spencer is not affiliated with any Republican organization, group, or faction, and is persona non grata at any Republican gathering. Nobody in the GOP gives him the time of day. So he’s not what any reasonable person could mean by “MAGA Republican”.

My friend was also astonished to learn that Rockefeller Republicans, what he thinks of as “moderate Republicans” are basically extinct, and definitely not anywhere near the mainstream of the GOP. He thought Reagan was basically the same as a Rockefeller Republican, and would not agree with “people like Hawley”. I pointed out that basically everything Hawley says can be found in Reagan’s lectures from the 1950s.

This fellow is a professor of political science, gawd help us all.

    The_Mew_Cat in reply to Milhouse. | September 4, 2022 at 10:04 am

Only clowns walk things back. Serious men always double down. Biden has never been a serious man. I think Clown Fuhrer Joe walked it back to muddy the waters and give himself some deniability, but he made his point, and no walk-back will ever change that. The point is: any small donor who might be thinking of giving a Republican candidate a contribution will now think twice. Everyone knows that all contributions are a public record, searchable at the FEC. If you have an ESG/Woke employer, will you contribute to an enemy of the regime? If you might have some tax issues, will you make a contribution, considering all those new IRS agents? If you are a government contractor, will you make a contribution to a regime enemy?

      Milhouse in reply to The_Mew_Cat. | September 4, 2022 at 10:30 am

You’re assuming Possibility #1, that he knows what he said and deliberately walked it back. You should consider #2 or #3, that he either has no idea what he said, or he remembers what he said but had no idea how everyone outside his immediate bubble would understand it.

Conservatives observe the lay of the land and consider pitfalls; history is a lesson; they take time to plan their actions based on knowledge; they tend toward a careful and steady pace. Motto: ‘all actions have costs’

Progressives run head long into what they know is a mine field; history is to be repeated; they plan shortsightedly, if they plan at all; they tend toward emotional reactionary exuberance. Motto: ‘cost is no object’

Conclusion: Conservatives are extremists.
