Psychology Prof Argues it’s Critical to Discuss Abortion With Children

“really not about the mechanics of conception at all”

Why are so many people on the left so determined to involve children in divisive political issues?

Campus Reform reports:

Professor says it is ‘critical’ to discuss ‘abortion rights’ with ‘school-age children’

University of Chicago (UChicago) Professor of Psychology Katherine Kinzler wrote an article for the Chicago Tribune entitled, “Why it is critical to talk to your kids about abortion rights.”

In the piece, she explained that she began talking to her 8-year-old daughter about abortion shortly after the Supreme Court’s opinion overturning Roe v. Wade leaked earlier this year.

Kinzler stated that young children may be “more prepared than some adults” to deal with the topic of abortion. “I would argue that it is critical to talk with your school-age children about abortion rights,” she wrote.

The UChicago professor further explained that some parents may not feel that they can discuss abortion with their children without discussing the topic of sex. However, she wrote that the “heart of the issue” comes down to “personal rights and autonomy,” and is “really not about the mechanics of conception at all.”

UChicago supported the professor by sharing a link to the article in a July 1 tweet.

Teach the little Democrats early that their preferred pronouns are me, me, and me. Only their rights matter — never their babies’.

my daughter S was 11, with a baby sister she had loved from the moment she knew I was pregnant. When she was 11, she found out about abortion, that a woman can kill her baby while it is inside the womb.
S was so horrified that a woman could/would kill a baby like her beloved sister, she cried about it for a week.
How many other children will hear about killing babies and wonder if (in the crazy mixed-up brains of young children) their parents had wanted to abort them, how many siblings they would have, if mom can NOW abort them if they do not behave.

Doesn’t teaching children about abortion simply teach them that life doesn’t have any value, that their existence is due to their mother failing to kill them?

Obviously this is different to teaching kids about the evil in this world – abortion, CRT, homosexuality, Marxism, transgenderism and so many other things, but that’s not what this psych prof. is recommending.

Seems like the Left further promoting evil as righteousness, deeming righteousness as evil, and moving to persecute such.
