Beijing Now Warning of ‘Explosive’ COVID Outbreak

Beijing Now Warning of ‘Explosive’ COVID Outbreak

Chinese officials are bitterly clinging to failed zero-covid policies as millions are tested.

For years, Chinese officials bragged about their low levels of COVID.

And while the validity of those claims is questionable, the latest outbreak apparently can’t be swept under the rug.

Karma has finally arrived in Beijing.

China’s capital Beijing is experiencing an “explosive” COVID-19 outbreak connected to a bar, a government spokesman said on Saturday, as the commercial hub, Shanghai, conducted mass testing to contain a jump in cases tied to a hair salon.

The warning followed a new tightening of COVID curbs in Beijing since Thursday, with at least two districts closing some entertainment venues after a flare-up in a neighbourhood full of nightlife, shopping and embassies.

The bars in one district were cited as being the location of this super-spreader event.

Some people in Beijing said they were sent texts telling them to report to authorities if they had recently visited Sanlitun’s bars.

Chinese officials have reversed the relaxation of some Covid rules in Beijing because of the outbreak.

Most children in the capital will not return to school next week as originally planned, officials said.

The capital has reported 1,997 local Covid cases since 22 April.

Chinese officials are bitterly clinging to failed zero-covid policies.

Regular testing of residents is becoming the new normal in many parts of China as the ruling Communist Party sticks steadfastly to a “zero-COVID” approach that is increasingly at odds with the rest of the world.

Major cities have been told to set up testing stations within a 15-minute walk for all residents. Beijing and Shanghai alone have put up 10,000 or more each. Some are made up of folding tables and chairs under a temporary canopy. Others are enclosed square booths from which gloved workers reach out through openings to take a quick throat swab from the next person in line.

Many cities including Beijing are requiring a negative test result within the last three days to enter a public place or take the bus or subway. Some have made it a week or 10 days. The tests are free, with the result reflected on the person’s smartphone health app roughly 12 hours later.

I would suggest the Chinese could save billions in testing cost and preserve the mental health of their population by just assuming everyone will be infected. However, given the stunts pulled by their officials at the beginning of this pandemic, I will sit back and enjoy the schadenfreude.

We wondered why the Jews would so obediently walk into those trains…

We wonder no more…

“We wondered why the Jews would so obediently walk into those trains…..”

Not all did, of course. But the ones at the head of the line were likely the German versions of ‘liberal Jews’ – ESPECIALLY the Jews the Germans used to put other Jews in ovens.

But I’m liberal! Go along to get along. Take a knee, beg… Diversity [dogma] (i.e. color judgment, class-based bigotry), Inequity, and Exclusion (DIE) is a policy of the nominally “secular” Pro-Choice “ethical” religion that has been common throughout human history (e.g. rites) and used by left-wing regimes (e.g. Chinese communists, Iraqi dictator, American Democrats) to relieve “burdens” (e.g. “Jew privilege”, planned parenthood, planned parent/hood).

timing is right, election coming up, and the Democrats should be kicked to the curb

Their problem is the rest of the world simply isn’t playing along with the insane lockdown bullshit any more.

The Chinese vaccine does not work. They are trying to control a virus more contagious than ChickenPox with lockdowns. And, that is their only tool.

A stake through the heart of Chinese dependent supply chains.

They’ll have to prove they’ve been vaccinated before Taiwan allows them to storm the beaches.

The supply chain issue and Shanghai‘ being locked down most of this year so far has created a CAT scan IV contrast shortage. So the Communist dictatorial stupidity continues to create danger for the rest of the world. I was hoping it would all get better but looks like it’s going to take a while.

To be fair to the Chinese communists, given labor arbitrage (e.g. practical and actual slavery), environmental arbitrage (e.g. Green solutions), and diversity [dogma] (e.g. racism), we shouldn’t be there at all. Our Choice with the attendant collateral damage.

Apple doubled down on Chinese assembly of their phones. That is going to bite them, hard. The coming famine is going to hit the Chinese hard. If you have not already started moving manufacturing out of China, what the hell were you waiting for?

This is the opportunity for US industry to replace that production. Do we still have any life, or are we so incompetent and flat on our backs we won’t make what we need anymore, even when there is no foreign supplier? (We should be making everything and have tariffs against foreign suppliers.)

Strange, the virus has weakened in the rest of the world but not in China. Anybody have any thoughts on that?

rabid wombat | June 14, 2022 at 8:48 pm

Taco Bell level of ‘explosive’?

If you replace the references I’m the story to the Chinese government with references to the Democrats, the story continues to read properly.

Non-sterilizing medical treatments? At least they’re not mutagenic with boosters.

The longer the supply chain from China is interrupted the more they get replaced as the source for goods.

This is the perfect time for us to reclaim our capability to supply ourselves. Let’s see if we seize it.

Replace/reclaim? “Global Corporations” can’t do that, they are sure that they will have full access to the huge China marketplace real soon now.*

Biden will probably make sure we can’t.

Many test positive, few get sick, bureaucrats erupt. Now playing in reruns to reduced audiences here.

The communist chinese know full well the chinaVirus isn’t a danger. They created it and loosed it upon the world after all.

These responses are for something other than medical issues.

It’s china and Xi is determined to remain in power. And our government is in lock step with them.

Come on, Jinping, you need to relax and unwind.
Sit, sit, have a nice hot bowl of Grandma’s bat soup.

Chinese military publications by Colonel Ji-wei Guo advocated the use of biotechnology in developing new methods of waging war and recommended that military medical doctors be involved in creating bioweapons. Colonel Guo elaborated on the application of biotechnology in bio-based war, representing the “Third Leap” in military strategy. China’s People’s Liberation Army believes that biological weapons, not nuclear weapons, are the key to global military dominance. Clearly, the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. intelligence agencies lack a basic understanding of the direction and extent of China’s biotechnology warfare program. U.S. government officials seem unaware that COVID-19 was certainly an element of that program, perhaps even a test of it. The “success” of the People’s Liberation Army’s first-generation, bio-based warfare agent, COVID-19, has only accelerated China’s military ambitions. China probably created a backdoor in Covid vaccines that require a revolving need for repeated shots until it kills you! However it appears that their creation had another backdoor and it got loose in China and appears to be in position to prove their theory but it will be on their own people. Communists are totally sick!

“US government officials seem unaware”? Not all of them. Not the ones that oversaw most of the development, at UNC-Chapel Hill, Fort Detrick, in our biolabs in Ukraine and elsewhere.

What if it’s not COVID? The CCP actions indicate a fear of something worse, like a new hemorrhagic fever for example, that might have escaped a lab.

If we consider the CCP to be trustworthy, then it’s COVID. If we don’t, we might wish to consider additional possibilities.

P.S. why would the CCP want to release a bioweapon that can kill them, too, when they can release a propaganda campaign instead and get just their victims to line up on command and roll up their sleeves for “treatment?”

China (and any other country) can drastically reduce it’s COVID problem with 1 single act: Stop testing!
