Natural Gas has gone from $5 to $7.50 because of Biden’s Green Agenda. And, that takes money directly out of your pocket. In Germany natural gas is $32. Don’t think that cannot happen here.
More ominous – natural gas is the feedstock for fertilizer. Right now, natural gas is going to Europe rather than make fertilizer. And, the railroads have just downgraded bulk fertilizer on their hauling priorities.
Corn is a big nutrient hog and without fertilizer, a corn field will have to lay fallow for a year or two before anything else meaningful will grow in it.
