Southern California School Apologizes After Teacher Leads Preschoolers in Anti-Biden Chant
“What do we want to do with him?” the teacher asked. “We want him out,” the students responded.
At least one Southern California teacher is clearly not a fan of Joe Biden.
A President’s Day lesson turned controversial when a Norco parent saw video of her daughter among students chanting “we want him out” after her teacher asked the class who the president is and “what do we want to do with him?”
Video of the four and five-year-olds chanting the political statement about Joe Biden was posted on an internal app for parents of students at Turning Point Christian School…
While many of us agree with the sentiment, this was ill-considered and upsetting to parents.
One mother, Christina McFadden, said she “was just in shock” over the video and contacted the school.
“The teacher is indoctrinating her students,” McFadden told KTLA. “Everybody has a right to believe in what they want, and my daughter wasn’t given that opportunity. And especially at that age, I don’t even think that she can comprehend to make an informed decision on who and what she should believe in.”
McFadden said her first reaction was fear.
“Fear that this was sent to 14 families with differing views. Fear that it appeared to be a political propaganda video and that it would spread as such with my daughter front and center,” she said.
McFadden, who declined to identify the teacher, said the video was removed from the app within hours. In its place, a school administrator left a message for the parents who had received it.
The school has issued a statement apologizing.
Turning Point officials said in a statement to parents that the school was “sorry for any misunderstanding” caused by the video.
“Earlier today a video was posted that has since been deleted as it did not share our school and church philosophy of honoring and respecting authority including those in government positions,” the school statement said.
It would be nice if schools stopped indoctrinating students on a whole host of subjects, from “climate crisis” to “gender identity”. Parental fears about the impact on their children by activist teachers are no less real or important on these matters.

The concerned mother should be grateful that the teacher opted not to use one of the more popular chants.

I remember school teachers leading classroom chants for B. Hussein Obama in his first year as Holy Emperor. Shouldn’t happen.
And I condemned it then, as I do now. Shouldn’t happen.

No, but what has that got to do with this case? That person was a whole continent away, and 14 years earlier, at a different school with different children and different parents. If the teacher initiated the chant, or led the kids to chant against Biden, that’s wrong and she crossed the line. However, if it was the kid’s own initiative to do so, it would be equally wrong for her to prevent it.
And before anyone gets their panties in a bunch: yes, it is proper and fine for a five year old to express political opinions, as long as they are learning it from their families.

In whose minds? The school? The complaining parent? Who, exactly, are you accusing here, and on what basis? Do you have any reason whatsoever to suspect that the school’s or the parent’s reaction to “pro-Obama chants, anti-Trump chants, gay Pride marches or related LGBTQ+ indoctrination” would be any more welcoming?
Under normal circumstances, I’d agree that this is wrong. However, I think it’s time for the right to start playing by the left’s rules. Endlessly saying “we’re better than that” has gotten us nowhere. It’s time to punch the bully in the mouth, because that is the only thing it will understand.

The same parent complained about this chant would probably complain about the other too, and if not her then another parent would. The school would take the same attitude to both. The ONLY way to ensure our CHILDREN are PROTECTED from the INSANE LEFT is to also protect from the other side! School should be a place of EDUCATING and NOT INDOCTRINATING from EITHER SIDE!! Stick to the SUBJECT MATTER and let kids learn so they can THINK for themselves and HOPEFULLY, see the TRUTH on their own!!
