If she really was a wise jurist, she would have answered that “a biological female is XX, and a biological male is XY” and been done with it, but she had to be weaselly.
A follow up question would have been “how do you know you are a woman?” Or, “what definition of woman did Biden use to select you from the pool of “black women?”
Or, “does ‘I will only nominate a black woman for the position’ meet the requirements of the equal protection clause, or any racial equality standards?”

You would need a biologist to explain what a biological woman is, but that’s not the definition under consideration. You would need a psychologist to explain that if you think you’re a woman, then you’re a woman. Or a sociologist to explain that if you want to claim the benefits of being female you have to say you’re a woman. Or if a politician wants to please their constituents, they must proclaim that men can become women just be saying it.

I would of had a very simple follow up, have you ever spoken to an expert about this, if she said no. My reply would have been, turn around and ask the person sitting behind you, your husband is a medical doctor, I would venture to guess he could tell you.
That non-answer is an evasive answer though. You don’t have to play her word games to understand that. Someone who will recognize those differences will state so, she didn’t, ergo her response is “no”, free are no physical differences between a man and a woman. A Judge is to make basic decisions on what is given. This woman cannot do that or is afraid in case of being rejected for the position. A Supreme Court Justice should not be afraid of making decisions or giving an opinion. This woman clearly is not the proper person for the job and should not be a Judge at any level.
