Cruz Slams Democrats Race Hypocrisy: ‘If You are Hispanic or African American and You Dare Depart From Their Political Orthodoxy, They Will Crush You’

“They will attack you. They will slander you. They will filibuster you.”

Sen. Ted Cruz pointed out the left’s hypocrisy when it comes to race during SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s hearing. He provided examples in the past of Democrats opposing African Americans and Hispanics court appointments, not just SCOTUS, because of their race and they did not align with the Democrats.

The Democrats have already claimed anyone who opposes Jackson does so only because she’s black.

Cruz promised Jackson that her confirmation hearing will not have the childish antics portrayed by the Democrats in previous SCOTUS hearings.

Cruz reminded everyone that confirmation hearings are about qualifications. We all saw the Democrats suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome abandon that standard with now Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett.

But it is all about qualifications. Cruz reassured Jackson no one opposes her because she’s black. He also told her that he wants to know if she will uphold the Constitution.

So, the only reason this woman is chosen is because of her sex and skin color, bit you can’t criticize her for being selected simply because of her sex and skin color?

This is nonsense.

    You catch on quickly.

Congratulations, you get an A+ is Prog Logic. Unless you’re white, then we’ll dock your grade down to a C+ because of your privilege.

Remember to give the subtracted points to a privileged minority too stupid to do it on their own.

They are also bitter clingers to the practice and rite of sacrificing virginal human life (i.e. baby, or the technical term of art “fetus”) for social, redistributive, clinical, and fair weather causes. Not to mention planned parent/hood and excess deaths in several Democrat districts (e.g. New York/Cuomo, Michigan/Whitmer) during the Covid-19, maybe 20, probably not 21, and unlikely 22 years.

Diversity (i.e. color judgment, class-based bigotry) is Pro-Choice religious dogma of the Progressive Church, Corporation, Clinic, etc., which denies individual dignity, individual conscience, intrinsic value, and normalizes color blocs (e.g. “people of color”), color quotas (e.g. “too many people of Asia”), and affirmative discrimination (e.g. “Jew privilege”). Not quite the wicked solution (e.g. one-child/selective-child a.k.a. planned parent/hood a.k.a. rites), but a first-order forcing of past, present, and progressive adversity.

Cruz promised Jackson that her confirmation hearing will not have the childish antics portrayed by the Democrats in previous SCOTUS hearings.

Maybe it should. Maybe the GOP should adopt an official policy of subjecting every Dem nominee to the same antics, the more over the top the better, until they learn to stop doing it to our people.

Agree. Democrats pull all the crap they pull because they KNOW they will never have to worry about it being done back to them….long past time to turn the table on that script

Absolutely right. Turnabout *IS* fair play, and using the same tactics that the Demoncrats use should be the approach of the Republicans in these hearings.

    This.

“No one is going to inquire into your teenage dating habits. No one is going to ask you with mock-severity, ‘Do you like beer?'”

    Why not?
Not because RINOs are kind or principled, but because they just can’t be bothered.

Milhouse in reply to henrybowman. | March 21, 2022 at 11:21 pm

Being principled is a good thing, but it shouldn’t get in the way of playing the game by their rules. If it were me in Cruz’s position I’d say we are going to put you through hell, but you should know that it’s not personal and we don’t actually believe all the accusations we’re going to fling at you, but we’re doing it because that is how the people you chose to advance your candidacy treat our people. You’re just collateral damage. If you don’t want this, then withdraw your name now and we’ll victimize the next person. Or get your party leaders to publicly pledge that they will never again treat one of our people like this.

Never tell a person you are going to shoot them before you pull the trigger. That is how you get killed!

          Milhouse in reply to jrcowboy49. | March 22, 2022 at 6:56 pm

She’s unarmed. And it’s only fair to let her know that we don’t actually believe the terrible accusations we’d be making against her. In a way that’s what the senators actually did, e.g. when Graham pretended she was some fire-breathing Protestant bigot, while explaining that he didn’t actually think that, he was just making a point about how Barrett had been treated.

henrybowman in reply to Milhouse. | March 22, 2022 at 2:56 pm

        Ooh, fightah!
If somebody has to be collateral damage either way, she’s probably the optimum choice.

The fundamental and fatal flaw in your reasoning is that it presupposes that the GOP is actually legitimately adversarial to the left when in reality the RINO/Globalist segment is not only closely parallel with the left ( but with slightly different terminal objectives) but will actually joint in mutual alliance when its expedient.

If that were not so, the left would rarely if ever actually “defeat” the GOP.

The actual “proof’ to what I’m saying is the fact that the GOP never actually “fights” the left. ( because they would win if they did)

They just give a token “photo op” level resistance and will at times even use harsh words but never any action or follow through.

That’s not accidental- that’s by design. They never intended to but they have to make “tough noises” so the sheeple will go back to their nap and send them money.

Go look, its the GOP who is resisting much of the election audits in key states ( and were accomplices),

    How did Benghazi turn out?

Investigating election issues in 16 and 20?

    Repealing O care?

Stopping runaway spending? ( who gave them the extensions and raises?)

No, the left are the “bad guys” but the GOP is the real enemy. (within)

I suggest to drop the hyphens, the factional Americans normalized in the modern style guide. Most of those people are native Americans, conceived and born under our Constitution in the incorporated nation of United States of America, and have been through People and Posterity since the establishment of the country, which recognized diversity of individuals, minority of one as a founding principle.
