Trudeau To Continue State of Emergency And Financial Reign of Terror Even After Freedom Convoy Broken Up

“But even though the blockades are lifted, cross borders openings right now, even though things seem to be resolving very well in Ottawa this state of emergency is not over.”

Once again! When you give the government power they will not relinquish it. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed they have not lifted the Emergencies Act even though the Freedom Convoy ended:

As I said the Emergencies Act is not something to take lightly. And it’s something that needs to be momentary, temporary, and proportional. That’s why every single day I’m receiving briefings. We are reflecting on how much longer the Emergencies Act needs to be in place. We don’t want to keep it in place a single day longer than necessary. But even though the blockades are lifted, cross borders openings right now, even though things seem to be resolving very well in Ottawa this state of emergency is not over.

There continues to be real concerns bout the coming days but we will continue to evaluate every single day whether or not it is time and we are able to lift this state of emergency.

The Ottawa Citizen reported that the police cleared out the remaining protesters of the Freedom Convoy, ending the 24-day protest:

Police late Sunday afternoon shut down what remained of the logistics camp that Ottawa occupiers had built on Coventry Road after police, during the protest’s early days, directed them there.

At least two arrests were made and tow trucks moved in to remove vehicles.

The parking lot is owned by the City of Ottawa but leased to the Ottawa Titans Baseball Club. The leaseholder did not agree to police directing protesters to the parking lot, in an effort to relieve the congestion of downtown Ottawa due to the arrival of the so-called “Freedom Convoy” more than three weeks ago.

Those who left are not free, though, as Trudeau basically confirmed in his comments. Interim Police Chief Steve Bell told the media the police force is “trying to keep tabs on those that are leaving and potentially massing to come back.”

The police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and Ontario Provincial Police continue to gather “intelligence on protesters who had left Ottawa ‘to make sure that these illegal activists don’t return to our streets.'”

Good Lord.

Members of the Freedom Convoy supposedly went to a farm in Kinburn, which is about 25 miles away. Others put their vehicles about 37 miles west of Ottawa at the White Oake Road. Reports indicate some protesters went to a farm east of Ottawa.

Bell declared that businesses should feel safe now. He promised “[A] strong police presence will remain in the coming days.”

I wonder how long that will last. Remember, once you give them power, they will not relinquish it.

Meanwhile, Canadian authorities started an investigation into some RCMP messages allegedly celebrating those who injured protesters. From RebelNews:

In the chat, RCMP Musical Ride member, Andrew Nixon sends a picture of a pint of beer hoping for his chance to abuse protesters:

“Don’t kick all of them out until next weeks group gets our turn”

Member Robin Thibault remarks about accommodations police are being given in Ottawa:

“Nice Downtown in Chateau Laurier”

Nixon jokes about police brutality:

“Time for the protesters to hear our jackboots on the ground”

After being admonished for his remarks, Nixon mocks the protesters:

“okay we can give out free hugs and unicorn stickers”

A member named Marca laughs off the prior night trampling of two demonstrators, one of which had a mobility scooter.

“”just watched the horse video – that is awesome”

“we should practice that manoeuvre”

RCMP confirmed they are looking into the messages.

Fuzzy blogged about the photos and videos on social media showing police abusing their power.

Here’s a picture from the video one of the RCMP members supposedly called awesome.

Has anyone heard a single leader of a Western democracy calling out Trudeau?

I guess the pretty-boy face makes totalitarianism more palatable and less threatening to sensibilities.

So disappointed in Ottawa’s police. They have power if they stick together. Are there no such conversations going on among them? If not, it is to their disgraceful shame. I understand the fear of losing your livelihood when you have a family to support. But in solidarity they could immunize themselves from retaliation and help defeat this mad power grab.

No, there are no conversations going on, and I’ll tell you why.

Trudeau has been in power (for a thug, that’s the correct way to frame it) for nine years. He’s prime minister in a system that has few checks and balances on the PM administering the executive branch. He’s had plenty of time to put his fellow-thinkers into all the key slots, and they in turn have done the same down the line. By now the average RCMP officer, and capitol police, are all in tune with what the big guy wants. They have to be or they’re out.

And that’s why they aren’t having conversations.

MattMusson in reply to LukeHandCool. | February 21, 2022 at 3:35 pm

Nelson Eddie would be appalled by the RCMP.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to LukeHandCool. | February 21, 2022 at 3:42 pm

They say nothing because they are getting to do what they like. It’s why the majority of them became cops.

The attacks on the freedom-loving people was just an excuse to grab more power.

Trudeau and his leftist cabal haven’t even set up their “Freedom Convoy Investigation Committee” to prosecute political opponents yet. They haven’t yet thrown hundreds of protesters into solitary confinement forever without a trial. And they didn’t even use their intelligence services to entrap people. These guys are amateur thug dictators compared to our Dems in the US.

It is still early days. They just passed the Enabling Acts a couple of hours ago. It will take a week or two for the show trials. Which will give them an excuse to extend the State of Emergency. There is a pattern to these kinds of things.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

To protest or not to protest a government that forces an experimental medical treatment. Deja vu.

All’s fair in lust and abortion, I suppose.

No coverage even in conservative media about the dirty stuff the Canadian government has been up to.

They’ve planted weapons.
They’ve planted instigators.
They’ve hired twitter trolls to sway opinion.

They are doing everything they can to get sympathy to J6 the protestors.

JHogan in reply to Andy. | February 21, 2022 at 2:01 pm

The RINOs, GOPe interventionists, and NeverTrumpers are focused like a laser on the carefully scripted and perfectly timed ‘imminent’ Russian invasion wag-the-dog hoax ‘crisis’.

Brandon needs a W to distract from all of his domestic failures, to prop up free-fall poll numbers, and to brag about in his SOTU.

What a clueless a**hole.

It will not end until after the millions of Canadians who supported the truckers have been identified and financially punished.

Once that goal is achieved Canada’s dictator will think about ending it.

If there are no further ‘national emergencies’.

Which means it will never really end.

When was the last time a newly hatched dictator willingly gave up recently acquired dictatorial power?

Listen. Hear that? The deafening silence from all Western nations who are not condemning the tyranny of this marxist meat puppet,Trudeau, is because they’re taking ‘how-to’ notes.

We are at war. Prepare accordingly.

Tiananmen Trudeau

Pajama Boy is super tough. He’s going to show those people who picked on him in high school (calling him Castro’s son and stuff). It doesn’t matter if it’s not exactly the same people.

Enthusiastic demonstrations are beginning to catch spark in other provinces.

Trudeau’s sphincter must be so tight right now that only dogs will hear him fart.

Trudescu/Castreau/Vladimir Poutine knows that he has crossed the Rubicon and there is no going back. His choices are to force through a fully totalitarian government and rule until he dies, or to face his government collapsing and spending the rest of his days in prison or in exile in a foreign nation (Cuba? China?).

He’s choosing the former.

Does Canadian law have civil right protections. Some of the crap they are pulling should fall under due process and Habeas corpus

This is beyond disgusting.

At least one poll of Canadians shows 2/3 support for invoking the Enabling Act:

https://toronto.citynews.ca/2022/02/17/trudeau-emergencies-act-poll/

I don’t know if the poll has been juiced to exaggerate support for Chairman Trudeau, but it is safe to say a large number of Canadians (perhaps a majority) are cool with fascism are are quite willing to jettison the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Two years of lockdowns for a bad case of the flu has turned millions into obedient slaves.

There are no polling or media companies that aren’t 100% in the tank for the reigning Liberals. The government either owns them outright (CBC) or has been bailing them out to the tune of close to $1BCAD over the last few years. Axios, a polling firm with close ties to the Liberals, showed public support for dropping all Virus of Unspecified Origin restrictions running at 52-54% at the end of January.

While it’s true that a significant portion of the public likes the taste of boot leather, the majority of Canadians are not behind this. The problem is that the Big Lie is being pushed by the government-funded media 24/7.

Well, thanks. The 2/3 was eye-popping, so I would not be surprised if it was exaggerated.

But it is still depressing that so many support this – even if it isn’t a majority. It would seem millions in Canada (and the US, for that matter) learned nothing from the defeat of Nazi Germany or the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Job One: Canada needs to look for a solution

Solution: Trudeau is the problem. Get rid of Trudeau and there would be no state of emergency.

Bottom Line: If you want your country back, take it back.

It’s sad how eager the Canadian cops are brutalizing people just like them. And for a few bucks. Especially the RCMP, which now shares a reputation as low as the FBI.

Take a step back and see where we are: one federal declaration away from martial law.

JackinSilverSpring | February 21, 2022 at 4:38 pm

There is an alternative for the truckers to pursue: garage the trucks and take a holiday for an extended period. The damage to the Canadian economy could be very severe.

It carries a vax passport or it gets the hose.

Lucifer Morningstar | February 21, 2022 at 4:58 pm

Just as I said before. Now that Trudeau has assumed unilateral dictatorial authority he’s not going to be relinquishing that authority easily or any time soon. He’ll just continue to manufacture “incidents” and “security concerns” to prevent Parliament from convening to debate his invocation of the Emergency Act (aka War Powers Act). Question is, just how long does Trudeau think he can get away with it before Parliament simply says, “Enough is enough, this has got to end now”.

Is the Canadian Parliament even meeting anytime soon? They cancelled discussion of Chairman Trudeau’s actions on Saturday, and I have not heard anything about meeting today.

Perhaps it doesn’t make a difference. From what I heard there was little chance of Parliament blocking Chairman Trudeau’s actions.

They meet tonight to debate and vote on either allowing the emergency powers to continue for 30 days or end it.

Several factors at play; vote to end and it likely cascades to a vote of no confidence throwing out the governing coalition; Trudeau’s party isn’t a majority. That means a new election which puts members at risk of losing seats and politicians don’t like taking hard votes that risk their ‘phony baloney jobs’

Next is the feckless nature of politicians in general but especially in a parliamentary system where their party leadership gives the orders unless they expressly ‘release’ members to vote their own conscience. There are public calls for members to be allowed to vote their conscience v the party line but …

vote to end and it likely cascades to a vote of no confidence throwing out the governing coalition

Unlikely, The NDP won’t give up their position of power and there aren’t 17 Liberal MPs with enough conscience.

          CommoChief in reply to daniel_ream. | February 21, 2022 at 7:56 pm

IMO, it’s basically both or neither in terms of political inertia. Voting to end this would be a very public and very clear rebuke and I can’t see how his minority govt could survive it. I also agree with you that any action by parliament to rein in Trudeau is unlikely.

Colonel Travis | February 21, 2022 at 5:44 pm

If you don’t condemn, you condone. It’s as simple as that. I have no doubt that other Western tyrants leaders are, with glee, taking notes.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair | February 21, 2022 at 6:46 pm

The West is very much like it was in the 1930s – tyrants are everywhere …. only this time around it’s all Axis powers.

Am I the only one here to have seen the photos of UN planes that showed up at an airfield in Canada? It probably explains the photos and videos of riot “police” with no names and/or badge numbers displayed. This goes beyond the petit Dictator Trudeau. I’ve never been one for conspiracy theory kooks, but I am seeing the majority of advanced nations enacting draconian mandates and lockdowns and everything seems to point to the conferences in Davos and the like. The leaders of the “free world” seem to be extremely wealthy compared to their citizens. Something is rotten and if we follow the money …

WOW. Parliament just voted to KEEP the emergency act.

Yay : 185
Nay : 151

Words fail.

Milhouse in reply to TargaGTS. | February 21, 2022 at 9:04 pm

Well of course. Why is this a surprise? The government and the NDP between them have a solid majority; that’s why it is the government. So why would anyone expect a different result? This is not the US congress, where members are free to vote however they like; in Canada, as in most countries, there is party discipline, and a member who votes against the party line without permission risks being expelled from the party, and losing the party nomination at the next election.

Peabody in reply to TargaGTS. | February 21, 2022 at 9:13 pm

    O Canada
    O Canada

JHogan in reply to TargaGTS. | February 21, 2022 at 9:29 pm

IMHO it was a done deal well before Castro Jr. announced he was invoking the EA. It was totally along party lines. Deals were made and the MPs supporting it put self-interest and party before country. See Germany, 1932-33 for another example of how this works and how democracies become dictatorships.

This whole thing was planned since the week the Freedom Convoy arrived in Ottawa. Parts of it probably well before that. Canada’s new dictator was identified as such by a journalist writing for HuffPo back in 2014.

Adolf Trudeau has been looking for an excuse to invoke the EA for years. That’s why the budding dictator didn’t hesitate to stridently and unequivocally call the truckers Nazis, racists, and misogynists with ‘unacceptable’ views. Need to openly identify despicable enemies of the state before declaring a national emergency.

Blackface Hitler would have never made the move if he did not already think he had the support in parliament. Once he got a blessing and go ahead from Brandon he was all set to make his move.

Where is the parliament voting this crap down telling truedope to stand down?
Must be they have a huge amount of rino styled “conservatives” like the repubs.

Canadian authorities started an investigation into some RCMP messages allegedly celebrating those who injured protesters

So they say. I don’t believe it for a second. If there is an investigation, it is only for the purpose of gathering and destroying the evidence.

it known as The Enabling Act

Yup. Hitler was voted into office, and so was this scumbag Trudeau.

Technically Hitler wasn’t. The Nazis ran repeatedly but never achieved a majority. Schemers like von Papen helped put him into the chancellorship, and from there Hitler consolidated power when Hindenburg died. The Nazis only began “winning” when they started banning opposing parties.

This was Trudeau’s Reichstag fire moment

Yet the general disbelief of conspiracies becomes more entrenched. Conspiracies can’t be true because….. just because. Anybody who believes in conspiracies is a nut because….. If we just ignore what we see with our own eyes, it will all go away by itself. How do we change the channel on this thing?

The Reichstag fire wasn’t a conspiracy. The idea that the Nazis burned it themselves was communist propaganda, which never had a shred of evidence to support it, and still doesn’t.

Will this nation allow what has happened to our North? Yes, my answer* Cruz and Crenshaw are being promoted on this page for talking/standing up*That is all that our “leadership” has done for years*Talking Talking NO action*Stop giving any $$$to “the Party” that is why everyone stays in their lane waiting their turn*Find a candidate that supports your stance and direct support that candidate*NO Reagen dinners NO golf fundraisers NO shooting fundraisers NO $$to the party in any way*Make a group of like-minded people that has no$ involved but pool your ideas and support for real change there is our power**Find a practicing Christian a practicing Conservative a to The Bone Patriot Make the difference by making the change*

I am always amused by this type of comment. What do you imagine that Cruz or Crenshaw can actually DO? Seriously, give me a list of things each man can do in his respective House of Congress. Until you can tell me what a single Senator (or any number less than 60) can do to change ANYTHING without a House majority that also agrees and a president ready to sign their efforts into law, I’m going to assume you have no idea how our Constitutional government works.

Trudeau To Continue State of Emergency And Financial Reign of Terror Even After Freedom Convoy Broken Up

Correction: Trudeau to ‘continue’ state of emergency after he’s broken up Magna Carta and the rule of law. The Reichstag just approved his Authority.

The best convoy will be the one where all truckers refuse to deliver or pickup anything to/from Canada. This is real fight back power.
