Trudeau Reprimanded for Accusing Jewish, Conservative Party MP of Standing ‘With People Who Wave Swastikas’

Trudeau Reprimanded for Accusing Jewish, Conservative Party MP of Standing ‘With People Who Wave Swastikas’

Melissa Lantsman, a Conservative MP for the Toronto suburb of Thornhill, confronted Trudeau about “Emergencies Act” and his insults directed at fellow Canadians.

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had another disastrous session in Parliament, trying to explain the need to impose the “Emergencies Act” as provinces roll back their mandates and transportation arteries open after protests conclude.

The day began going downhill for Trudeau when Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) Melissa Lanstman asked the prime minister about his sudden change in attitude toward the truckers after the demonstrations against the Covid-19 vaccine mandates began.

Lantsman was reminding Trudeau of his own words in the past where he literally said that the Canadian government needs to trust Canadians. And his words in the present crisis, where he’s insulted Canadians as “misogynistic, racist, women haters, science deniers, and the fringe.”

She asks when Trudeau lost his way, saying he’s now fanning the flames of an unjustified national emergency.

An indignant Trudeau bitterly clung to the mantra that, due to the presence of one Nazi banner and one Confederate flag (which may have come from infiltrators) out of the thousands and thousands of demonstrators, the protesters and those who support them must be…Nazis. Goodwin’s Law is alive and well in Canada.

The response did not go over well with Parliament.

Trudeau responded with scorn to her complaints, saying: ‘Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas, they can stand with people who wave the confederate flag.

‘We will chose to stand with Canadians who deserve to be able to get to their jobs, and get their lives back. These illegal protests need to stop and they will.’

Trudeau was then reprimanded by the Speaker of the House of Commons and other MPs.

The other side of chamber erupted in response, prompting Speaker of the House of Commons Anthony Rota to interrupt in an attempt to restore order. He also admonished all — “including the Right Honourable prime minister” — to avoid “inflammatory” language in the House.

MP Dane Lloyd later rose to rebuke Trudeau for his comment, saying, “Mr. Speaker, I’ve never seen such shameful and dishonorable remarks coming from this prime minister. My great-grandfather flew over 30 missions over Nazi Germany. My great-great-uncle’s body lies at the bottom of the English Channel. There are members of this Conservative caucus who are the descendants of victims of the Holocaust.

“For the prime minister to accuse any colleague in this house of standing with a swastika is shameful. I’m giving the prime minister an opportunity. I’m calling on him to unreservedly apologize for this shameful remark,” he added.

Trudeau three times ignored Lloyd’s demand for an apology, which Lloyd said “speaks volumes.”

Lantsman also responded, noting that she is Jewish and had “never been singled out or made to feel less” due to her religion…until Trudeau.

Elsewhere in Canada, truckers were hugging police officers and singing “O, Canada.”

It appears that at least in Canada, progressives can no longer rely on smears of Nazism to dismiss the concerns of a vast swath of their citizens. Let’s hope this trend continues its way down south.

Speaking of trends, millions who have been following the events in Canada now know about Lantsman, whose name was a trending topic on Twitter as the post was prepared. The next elections in Canada will be fascinating.

Screw it…let’s see a fistfight. Might as well enjoy watching them fight because politicians don’t fight for us

henrybowman in reply to scooterjay. | February 17, 2022 at 11:55 am

A slight digression, on that topic…

There’s a guy running for US House out of Arkansas against an incumbent RINO. He’s an “unreconstructed southerner” who professes all the right conservative principles and positions, even the “unpopular ones” on gun rights. He’s been disowned by his state GOP establishment, who calls him all the names that Republicans typically only get called by Democrats. When asked to name the politician he would most like to model himself after, he names Preston Brooks… who did, in fact, initiate a notorious physical altercation on the floor of the Senate.

Despite my misgivings that he may possibly come bundled with some unsavory
racial beliefs, I’m —> this <— close to sending him a campaign donation — something I wouldn't consider doing if there were any significant number of congressional Republicans who showed an actual willingness to fight for my interests as a traditional, conservative American… like I know this guy would.

What federal anti-gun statutes passed congress on the Republican watch?

Arkansas gun laws are not overly oppressively either.

Furthermore would he be able to pass the kind of regulation of the public square we need so we could actually participate in American politics or is he a squish who will fight “big government” and be fine with big tech, big media, big industry, academia etc shutting us down but give Jeff Bezos a tax cut?

Furthermore what makes your local congressman a squish? Did he acknowledge Biden won the 2020 election because he did.

henrybowman in reply to Danny. | February 18, 2022 at 6:43 am

        1) What’s your point? Maintaining the status quo with regard to gun rights is unacceptable, the two pro-gun laws heavily promised by Republicans never materialized when they had 100% opportunity to pass them, and the Republican congress gave no safe harbor to bump stocks when Trump went nonlinear.

        2) He’s running for US Congress, not Arkansas congress. Stay with the tour group.

        3) Why don’t you read his website and find out? Of course he could be lying, like most politicians do. But aren’t you the guy who keeps banging me for saying that voting for Republicans by party is a chump’s game? All of a sudden, I might be right?

        4) What does “my local congressman” have to do in the least with this observation? I’m entitled to send my money any damn where I choose. Did it ever occur to you that I might be able to donate to more than one congressman at a time? And, by the way, mine is quite clear on the point that the election was stolen. I’m all right, Jack.

          1. The status quo of gun rights is you own your gun legally and if you can’t legally get a gun in Arkansas I am very strongly inclined to think there is very good reason for that considering Arkansas is not a tightly regulated state in terms of guns.

          2. If you don’t think U.S. Congress has a part in regulating big tech in favor of our free speech, or in the many other priorities we have now then why would you even care who your congressman is as long as he/she is someone who will vote against Dem proposals?

          3. You are saying you are almost some of your values by voting/donating for someone who you acknowledge seems like a racist to you, you should be able to decisively answer if he favors regulation of big tech or is a big time Randian squish who will fight “big government” by lowering taxes and increasing military spending while doing nothing about big tech, or education.

          4. You are proposing doing something extreme “Despite my misgivings that he may possibly come bundled with some unsavory
          racial beliefs,”

I didn’t know he existed, or that he seems like a racist, those are your words you seem to think he is a racist (your opinion on him) and you are in your words this close to trying to replace your local congressman who you called a squish with him.

You should be able to explain what makes your local congressman a squish (and why you are mad at him) if you are so mad at him you are willing to toss out your beliefs to get rid of him.

If anyone in Canada or the United States expects the media to accurately report on anything has their head so far up their ass their view is tinted brown.

The media anywhere in the world is now a propaganda arm of a globalist oligarchy.

Corporations, media, and our politicians have sold their soul for a few pieces of silver.

Democrats and the far left scream NAZI, racist, homophobe, and every other claim against anyone who won’t kneel to their demands.

Now we see banks threatening to close accounts for anyone who supports a conservative cause.

There will come a time when the serfs will rise up against their self-appointed masters, and it won’t be a pretty sight.

What, exactly, is Justine Turdeau’s basis for calling the truckers’ protests “illegal”? Apart from him not liking them, I mean….

That’s a good question. I think the fair answer would be only with respect to certain elements. A small number have committed some quite serious offences such as a small group who have been arrested for conspiracy to commit murder. Otherwise the illegitimacy stems from a combination of minor offences (such as the temporary ban on honking horns) and blockading the roads. Its the later which is probably the most realistic aspect of the argument.

mailman in reply to Fatkins. | February 17, 2022 at 9:23 am

Man, if ONLY it was a large number of protesters doing some illegal shit like a Burn Loot Murder race riot then the protests would be fine.

        nordic_prince in reply to mailman. | February 17, 2022 at 11:52 am

Exactly. Did that pipsqueak pajama boy utter even one word of condemnation for BLM riots? If not, then he HAS NO MORAL AUTHORITY to bitch about the truckers.

      AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Fatkins. | February 17, 2022 at 12:46 pm

Fûck off FatAss. One white cop shoots a black thug, and according to the fucktards you associate with, all white are white supremacists.

A couple of shady plants withe convoy commit some type of questionable act, and according to you and your fucktard buddies, the WHOLE DAMNED CONVOY IS CRIMINAL!

But as whole organization built off of Black Lives Matter loot, burn, murder, and destroy neighborhoods for months on end, and not a fucking word from your pie hole.

      Fuckouttahere bitch.

mrzee in reply to Fatkins. | February 17, 2022 at 1:03 pm

And those arrests were 2000 miles away from Ottawa in a town Trudeau had never heard of before last week.

MattMusson in reply to Fatkins. | February 17, 2022 at 1:21 pm

Trudeau went to park his Bentley in front of the Parliament Building and found some trucker had taken his space. So.. Marshal Law.

His basis? Lies, lies, and more lies.

I believe the illegal part of the protest is the parking of their trucks in the road blocking traffic.

      mailman in reply to 5under3. | February 17, 2022 at 9:24 am

AND using words of violence like “I love my country”. Fucking racists!!

      nordic_prince in reply to 5under3. | February 17, 2022 at 11:56 am

Well then, throw the book at them. Clearly “illegal parking” is WAY MORE egregious than burning, looting, and murdering. Their “terrorism” is without parallel.

Well, of course. Just as we learned last year that trespassing had suddenly become a capital crime (or at least a Capitol crime) while we weren’t looking.

      henrybowman in reply to 5under3. | February 17, 2022 at 11:59 am

Which is quite different than BLM’s parking of their bodies in the road blocking traffic. Because you can’t buy trucks with EBT.

I can’t help it. I just find it hilarious Prime Minister Blackface can’t stop stepping on his crank in his all out effort to label truckers racists.

Not to mention he’s lying about the truckers.

There are tens of thousands of photos and thousands of videos of the protesters available to anyone who makes the effort to find them. Not a swastika or confederate flag is in sight in any of them. And the protesters do not tolerate anyone who shows up with one.

Justin Castro is lying because he desperately wants a Canadian Jan 6 ‘insurrection’ to justify using the power of government to ‘investigate’, intimidate, suppress, persecute, and prosecute his political opponents.

Canada is now effectively a dictatorship until further notice. Until parliament acts and votes to strip the boy dictator and his junta of the power they have seized and assume is righteously theirs.

This is something that all conservative protests and demonstrations need to keep a sharp eye out for. There are trolls, there are Feds, and there are media plants, all of whom are more than happy to sneak into a conservative rally with one disruptive flag or ‘thing’ that every single news outlet will run with. The J6 rally/riot was a prime example. Ten thousand American and Trump flags, and every single media photo spread includes that one (censored) with the Stars and Bars front and center, *plus* that supposed ‘gallows’ which was made up of a couple of 2x4s and about a foot of rope way in the back of the crowd. Every media. Every one of them, including Fox.

Milhouse in reply to georgfelis. | February 17, 2022 at 2:25 pm

There would have been nothing wrong even if it had been an actual gallows, complete with an effigy hanging from it. Not that I agree with those who would want to hang Pence; I like Pence and prefer him to Trump. But this is America, and it’s OK to disagree, and hanging people in effigy is a venerable American tradition. It’s not a threat, it’s an expression of extreme disapproval, it’s well within the zone of core protected speech, and it’s illegal for a government agent to interfere with it in any way.

So I don’t really care how realistic or unrealistic it was, or how representative or unrepresentative the people who had it were. I can disagree with them some other time, but when they’re being persecuted for their speech I support them.

        JohnSmith100 in reply to Milhouse. | February 18, 2022 at 2:35 pm

I don’t have anything against Pence, but I do not think he could replace Trump, I cannot see Pence being up to taking on the swamp. I think that Trump has learned that the swamp is much worse than he or any of us knew, and that if he gets back in power that he will fight to drain the swamp.

Pence is a solid conservative and was among the first Republicans to publicly back Trump (he withdrew from his own gubernatorial race to run as VP). He’s a hard one to read, but I get the sense that he a man of immense inner strength and fortitude that his calm demeanor belies. He has fight (it’s just not shouty fight like Sanders or balled up whittle fisties fight like Liz Warren). That said, he’s not going to fire up any crowds. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing in a president, but it may make it harder for him to get the job in the first place.

Fuzzy, I have no particular argument with your assessment of Pence.

However, I have been puzzled by Pence’s (oft quoted in the leftist press) assertion that Trump was wrong in stating that Pence “had the right to overturn the election”. I don’t remember seeing anywhere that Trump stated that. My understanding is that Trump wanted the election certification delayed.

Either I have missed something, or Pence slew a straw man. Could be either one.

          Milhouse in reply to JohnSmith100. | February 20, 2022 at 2:12 am

Trump believes, and has repeatedly and publicly stated, that Pence had the legal power to reject the votes of those electors he deemed not to have been lawfully chosen. Pence believes he had no such power. I’m not sure who’s right on that. The constitution does not explicitly grant him such a power, and the Electoral Count Act explicitly denies him it, which is why Prof J has posted that Pence is right and Trump is wrong. I’m not so sure. It’s possible to read the constitution as implying such a power, in which case the ECA would be invalid. But what matters here is Pence’s own legal opinion, which he has stated and stands by.

mrzee in reply to JHogan. | February 17, 2022 at 1:09 pm

Parliament will unfortunately support The Idiot. His government is propped up by the socialist NDP who agree with just about everything he does.

It is just a matter of time until they get busted in a “false-flag” action and everyone sees the lie. That is the scary point, as a dog backed in a corner will bite.

When a liberal knows they have no argument they play the race card.

Live by the intersectionality grid, die by the intersectionality grid.

Trudeau is Marxism in practice

The statute of limitations is 3 years. When I was in college half a decades ago I used to work summers loading moving trucks. And because the guy I worked for was a cheapskate he was sometimes short if drivers and if I wanted to keep the job I had to fill in. I never drove the semis. Just the medium duty box trucks. I think that qualifies me stand with the truckers.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to Arminius. | February 17, 2022 at 8:59 am

I drove a 10-wheel three-axle truck for the family business. Five speeds with a two speed axle.

    I stand with the truckers.

My mother got remarried many years after my parents divorced to a semi-retired trucker. Korean vet, salt of the earth Okie who still drove a semi for Fed Ex almost till he died at 70 in a VA hospital. I suspect that he represents the vast majority of truckers and good, honest, hardworking Americans and like-minded people the world over. I definitely stand with the truckers.

Several decades ago. Not quite half a century which is what I started to write.

Melissa is my MP! Woo Hoo! Alas she is one of the only Conservative who won in almost the entire Greater Toronto Area. City folk amazingly, continue to vote Liberal. Imagine a city jealous of NYC…

Proud to have voted for her!

Princess Justine Stompyfeet of the Crazy Horse Nation. What a quisling.

Can we start calling him “Prime Minster Castreau” yet?

Closely watch Trudeau’s remarks, there are two females sitting behind him apparently nodding in agreement with him while he is speaking then appauding after he is done, those two need to be identified and questioned as to why they support his remarks.

Trudeau is literally calling Canadians who defeated Adolf Hitler Nazis. What an imbecile.

Justin Trudeau is making himself out to be a racist blackface punk with delusions of his own self-worth.

Just wait, when the mind altering 5G death ray is turned on, the Vax will be toast. Oops, the ray has already been turned on. Watch out for VAIDS. New test kits coming your way.

Free HIV at-home testing kits now available in Saskatchewan

Given their mechanism of action, excess adverse events, and forward-looking risk to the individual and community, the non-sterilizing “vaccine(s)” are properly labeled as Covax-19, 20, 21, and 22.

As for HIV, yes, they recommend testing to all people… persons, irrespective of primary risk: socially liberal, fecal transmission.

They’ve caught the police sending instigators in who are asking truckers to go storm government buildings.

The police also have claimed to have planted a weapons cache… strangely a huge weapons cache found exactly where the police happened to look. Media is strangely uncurious about that find.

Very glad to see the mask taken off on what this government is really all “aboot”. The question is what will Canadian voters do about it?

The question of merit is she a Jew-Jew. h/t Whoopi

Also, in the modern model, is she a she-she. Identity matters.

Hysterical crazed leftwing lunatic Diane ‘Karen’ Deans was voted off the Ottawa police board yesterday evening.

But not before she unilaterally hired a new police chief who evidently cannot be easily fired, because he has a signed contract.

The “Nazi flag” story:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCJHgrYa_NY
It’s not anything like what has been portrayed by the media (big surprise there) or by Castrudeau.

Maybe there were others, but the only two “bad” flags I’ve seen any pictures of (used over and over again) are:
1) One Canadian flag with a swastika painted on it, which symbolism would seem to be not supporting Nazis, but calling the Canadian government fascist.
2) A Confederate flag that had a large picture of a tractor-trailer printed over it. I’m not sure what that even means, in Canada…”The truckers are rebelling”, maybe?

The “Nazis and racists” thing here looks like another big lie of the media and leftist government.
