Canadian Elites Declare All-Out War On Truckers, Including Seizing Pets

Trudeau’s justice minister threatened those who donated to the convoy: “you should be worried.”

Ottawa and the federal government are pulling all the punches to get rid of the Freedom Convoy.

Justin Trudeau’s justice minister David Lametti threatened people who donated to the convoy. Of course, he brought up Trump because these people are insane and Trump broke them:

ANCHOR: “I just want to be clear here, sir, this is really important. A lot of folks says look I just don’t like your vaccine mandates and I donated to this. Now it’s illegal, should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account? What’s your answer to that?”
LAMETTI: “Well if — I think if you — if you are a member of — you know a pro-Trump movement who’s donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing then you ought to be worried.”

Lametti also said equated donating to the convoy to financing terrorism:

“Evan (ph), we already do this with respect to terrorist financing. We already do this with respect to money laundering. What we are doing is extending the same kinds of principles and procedures to this situation, which is funding of illegal blockades. It’s — it’s — this isn’t — this isn’t new — this isn’t new under the Sun, Evan (ph), this is something that the police and financial institutions already do together. In certain cases we’ve extended the case and so they already have experience working in this area and therefore when I say we’re going to trust their reasonableness it’s based on the experience that we’ve already have.”

Ottawa will even take away your pets. What will happen to your pets? Breitbart News reported:

Breitbart News spoke briefly to an Ottawa City employee who stated that animals taken into care under normal circumstances are managed by the Ottawa Humane Society, a non-profit animal shelter.

While other branches of the Humane Society describe themselves as “no-kill” shelters, such as the Etobicoke Humane Society, a 2015 article on the Ottawa Humane Society website, written by Executive Director Bruce Roney, notes the shelter does euthanize animals.

“As an open admission shelter, the OHS accepts all animals at any time, no matter how old, sick, injured, and no matter what their behaviour or temperament. We are always here for them. That means those that are not treatable, rehabilitatable are humanely euthanized by caring professional staff who wish that they didn’t have to,” Roney wrote.

“So, is the OHS a no-kill shelter? I don’t know. It depends on which definition you subscribe to. But you won’t catch me or anyone else here using the term. I do know this: we are a no-suffering shelter,” he added.

This lawyer somehow thinks the convoy costs the city and businesses $15 million a day.

Donations tax deductible
to the full extent allowed by law.

Sue the truckers for what Trudeau has done. Just a good liberal lawyer helping the downtrodden (and pocketing a little cash on the side). Multipronged attack there Mr. Champ…. not only helping the downtrodden and yourself but The Party. Maybe a “Hero of the Order of Justina” for you also. It is war now… for keeps. I don’t know if even a general strike would stop the revenge of Castreau.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch… The Uniparty (I know, some people don’t believe it exists) delivers again,

There are ALWAYS enough Republicans available to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory,

“Justin Trudeau’s justice minister David Lametti threatened people who donated to the convoy. Of course, he brought up Trump because these people are insane and Trump broke them:”

Well, this is lunacy, but if the Canadian government’s best response to protests in their country is “Trump”, then the truckers have already won. No sane person in either country will believe that Trump did this. LMAO.

It appears that the juveniles in charge in both our countries need to go, it’s time for adults again.

alaskabob in reply to donewiththis. | February 17, 2022 at 8:03 pm

But Justina Castreau and friends will hurt many loyal Canadians in the process. One could brush this off as juvenile, but Trudeau is hard core … just like his dad… the Cuban one.

CommoChief in reply to donewiththis. | February 17, 2022 at 8:09 pm

The juvenile children currently pretending they are actually serious adults are unlikely to accept being spanked, sent to bed without their dinner and grounded by the adults from the real world.

You have to remember that all politics is Canada is based on “USA bad”.

Meanwhile, Democrats in the US are creaming in their jeans while they watch.

That is some serious TDS since Trump has no way to exercise any real power in Canada.

Professor, what can we do to help them?

Trump should go to the boarder and have a rally in support of the Canadians
Right after he shows serious support for the Jan6 protesters, of which he done poorly

Maybe Canadians will be more careful in their voting choices in the future. Here in American we have been warned and 2022 election is just around the corner.

    Who counts the votes

Just like here there are a lot of useful idiots in Canada. Plus the scare campaign has really worked on the cowards who actually think masks and distance is the answer.
I wouldn’t be surprised if justine castreau wouldn’t be re elected.

      mrzee in reply to 4fun. | February 18, 2022 at 11:58 am

He was just re-elected 5 months ago. By the time of the next election, this will be forgotten by most voters.

I happen to think if there was election next month, he’d still form the next government because the little dictator has a lot of supporters.

These geniuses still haven’t figured out who’s going to deliver the food to them once they’ve vanquished the evil truckers…

Finicky Fat Guy in reply to UJ. | February 18, 2022 at 9:59 am

Ding ding ding…we have a winner. Ol JT hasn’t thought that far ahead, has he.

Well, actually he has. Under the Emergency Act he has the power to “compel services”, which is why there’s tow trucks available. Same thing can and will be done to truckers.

healthguyfsu in reply to SDN. | February 18, 2022 at 12:56 pm

I imagine there will be a lot of breakdowns and cold trucks will experience loss of power in that scenario.

drednicolson in reply to healthguyfsu. | February 18, 2022 at 1:39 pm

Not to mention mysterious contamination of the food going in them.

drednicolson: Not to mention mysterious contamination of the food going in them.

I hope not, on that one. That could actually justify the “terrorist” label for regular people (the elites can self-justify without any external support), even if the food could be ensured to be going only to the actual totalitarian buttheads (not my first word choice, but the printable one).

reverendken in reply to healthguyfsu. | February 19, 2022 at 6:26 pm

How do you make this reefer thing work??????????

The boy tyrant makes another move. Chris Barber, one of the primary convoy organizers, has been arrested.

No word on whether he had a pet with him who may now be killed by the Canadian Stasi dog killers.

Anyone who still wants to exert American power for spreading modern western values needs a wakeup call here, and because we are no longer in favor of waging imperial culture wars we don’t need to expand the military budget or even maintain the one we have.

$15 million a day? I rather doubt it. Such claims should be easy enough to verify by checking tax info and receipts for comparable time periods of past years.

The pajama boy dick-tator wannabe is getting more insane by the minute.

It’s now US vs THEM. Choose a side. Get a general strike going. The is the battle to fight to the end.

Gulag Archipelago.

I haven’t seen anything more about the weapons the government planted. That sounded like it was sooo obvious that no one took the cops seriously. But it should expose how corrupt this government really is.

A John Galt strike is probably the best weapon- shut the country down from the bottom up.

Trudeau is now the Prime Dog-catcher of Canada…

I just discovered I am suspended over at Twitter..
I just wanted to make fun of their dog-catcher..

You get 8 days, billable, to save your dog from the executioner.

This is our Battle of Jericho.
The walls WILL FALL.

The problem with the Freedom Convoy is that there are truckers still running making the deliveries. All trucking needs to be shut down.

Milhouse in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 9:28 am

You “know” this because the propagandists at WaPo told you. And they know it how? Claiming you are in the majority and your opponents in the minority is a trick as old as the self-named “Bolsheviks”, who were anything but. Unless someone has run a poll of all professional truckers in Canada, they can’t know how many support the convoy and how many oppose it.

Fatkins in reply to Milhouse. | February 18, 2022 at 9:50 am

I think the correct question is why would anyone support the Freedom convoy? I mean the fact is they are causing enormous economic damage because they don’t want take a vaccine that’s been shown to be safe and effective. Its an idiotic basis to have a protest. The fact is they could have a protest without causing such harm to everyone else.

DSHornet in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 10:31 am

Safe? Maybe for most. Effective? Maybe for most.

Idiotic? Is the concept of personal freedom of one’s body (“My body, my choice.”) incomprehensible to you?

Mark Cohen in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 10:33 am

“they don’t want take a vaccine that’s been shown to be safe and effective”

F*** you. God should punish you for this kind of crap. I hope one of your family members dies horribly from getting the experimental potion.

The adverse effects profile and the lack of efficacy are clear for anyone to see.

Mark Cohen in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 10:38 am

Maybe one day ignoring and violating the Nuremberg code and related human subjects experimentation codes will be seen as crimes again.

          nordic_prince in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 10:56 am

Two years of shutdowns have wreaked more destruction than a “fringe” group of truckers have for a couple of weeks. Funny that Justine Turdeau wasn’t concerned about the economic well-being of Canucks then.

CommoChief in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 11:30 am

The other major point of protest is the vax passport. That is for many a hill to die on because it’s unprecedented. Forced disclosure of medical info to bed allowed to travel or enter a restaurant? That is viewed as a first step in conditioning the public for the institution of a social credit system.

That the Canadian govt is now using totalitarian powers to seize bank accounts of citizens who merely supported via social media is very revealing about just what the goals are and how high the stakes are.

IMO, everyone on the wrong side of this; backing Trudeau’s use of totalitarian powers, will eventually regret their decision either from internal ethics or external factors over which they have zero control.

Or worse, when the pendulum swings waaaaay back, and it’s the left who are being shut down and shut out. That’s one of the more likely ramifications of all of this amassing and normalizing outsized government power, and few on the right (except me) will object when lefties who contribute to BLM or antifa have their bank accounts frozen and have their homes raided, their pets killed, and are arrested and held for over a year in appalling conditions, and etc.

Many on the right will see this as just deserts and will enjoy listening to the left outrage. Heck, even I will enjoy the outraged leftie howls, but I will not support it should it happen (and again, it’s not entirely unlikely).

So much is wrong here. The Canadian government reports that 90% of Canadian truckers are vaccinated, so you can get off that hobby horse. There is nothing at all idiotic about protesting government overreach or about supporting such protests; it’s the primary reason citizens protest (and have done for hundreds of years, up to and including our own Founding Fathers).

How is the “harm” the protesters are doing any greater than that which their own government did to them (and continues to do to them) for two years. Literally shutting down businesses, forcing thousands out of business and onto the government dole, and forcing people to stay in their homes except to get groceries or go to a doctor?

What “harm” are they causing? They are not rioting, burning down buildings, looting everything in sight, beating people in the street, or murdering them for trying to protect their businesses. They are just sitting there, waiting to redress their grievances to their unresponsive, apathetic, out-of-touch government. Trudeau could have ended this weeks ago by simply meeting with them, but he chose to go full-blown tyrant against his own citizens instead. I’d say that’s pretty “idiotic.”

JRaeL in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 1:24 pm

It takes a special kind of malice to be this stupid. The good news you can probably be awarded an honorary journalism degree from the college of your choice.

gibbie in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 4:40 pm

Some pro-life people refuse the vaccines because they were tested using cells harvested from aborted children. They are what you might call “conscientious objectors”, a status which used to be recognized by American jurisprudence.

Evil Otto in reply to Fatkins. | February 18, 2022 at 4:59 pm

“that’s been shown to be safe and effective.”

“Shown?” None of these vaccines have gone through the regular round of clinical trials? No studies have been done on long-term health effects. That would be impossible, since not enough time has passed. The series of studies that vaccines and medications must go through normally is exhaustive, and normally many don’t make it through… but these? They sailed through. And when reports of side effects and bad reactions are suppressed in social media then that doesn’t exactly promote confidence that they’re “safe and effective.”

You confuse (intentionally) being CLAIMED as “safe and effective” with being SHOWN to be such. Now I’m sure you’ll have a whole slew of googled-up links. Save it, NPC.

Nohbody in reply to Fatkins. | February 19, 2022 at 12:06 pm

Setting aside the “safe and effective” part, you’re still wrong. They’re not protesting taking the vaccine, which most of those not licking statist boots (or deep-throating them) understand.

A majority of those participating actually are vaccinated, and apparently unlike you actually support freedom of choice, including the freedom to choose a “leaky” as heck vaccination. What they object to is making it mandated, and to have to carry around documentation of vaccination to do much of anything in modern society.

Milhouse in reply to Fatkins. | February 20, 2022 at 1:15 am

More idiocy. Where did you get the idiotic idea that they’re protesting “because they don’t want take a vaccine”? Most of them are vaccinated. Did you really not know this?! It’s not about whether they want the vaccine, it’s about freedom. And freedom is worth dying for, and worth killing for, so it’s definitely worth some economic damage.

Milhouse in reply to Fatkins. | February 20, 2022 at 1:16 am

Mark Cohen, forget this so-called “Nuremberg Code”. It is not a law, it has never been a law, it is nothing more than some people’s private opinion.

Milhouse in reply to Fatkins. | February 20, 2022 at 1:42 am

Fuzzy, I understand where you’re coming from, but I can’t agree. I think those who support injustice have forfeited the right to be treated justly, so I will be among those cheering if and when what goes around comes around and they fall into the pit they have dug.

I agree with you that one wrong doesn’t justify another, but I limit that to innocent third parties. Thus I am against truckers blocking highways and bridges and preventing people who have done no wrong from going about their lawful business. I am for forcibly opening enough lanes through the protest for traffic to get through unimpeded. But I draw the line at those who are not innocent; if they were the only ones being hurt by the protests then I would have no objections. And if they end up hoist by their own petards, I will call it justice of its own kind.

They are NOT pulling any punches. You can land a punch, you can miss, or you can pull a punch. Only the first one counts.

If Trudeau wants a full out civil war, this is how you get it. You never threaten a person’s kids or dogs. Adults will take a lot of abuse and discrimination, but when you touch the ones they love, you can expect the mama bear to attack.

When Canadians start getting hungry in a home that has used the last of its heating fuel, except in those provinces where the truckers’ demands have been met, the problem will come to a head.

You want stubbornness? Live across the border from Quebec for a few years and watch the local TV stations.

They just arrested a You Tube livestreamer who goes by the name of Zot, during the livestream

The down vote is not about your post but about the arrest. Sometimes I don’t whether a positive or negative is appropriate.

      buck61 in reply to JRaeL. | February 18, 2022 at 2:24 pm

No harm done, just trying to provide information. They are have arrested more people and are towing vehicles.

Canada is in the second stage of a full blown tyranny. The truckers are being removed by force.

And Ukraine is our news….

Peaceful protest works when it works because the government consists of good people. Where the government is dominated by marxists, they will kill every person that stands against them. Until the oppressed start killing their oppressors they will be slaves.

The world is watching Canada. Maybe Trudeau doesn’t care at this point but he’s making new rules and this will happen again unless the people In charge are severely punished.

How about an updated story showing us the police actions?

This is fascism in practice
