TSA Allowing Illegal Immigrants to Use Arrest Warrants as ID at Airport Security

“For non-citizens and non-U.S. nationals who do not otherwise have acceptable forms of ID for presentation at security checkpoints, TSA may also accept certain DHS-issued forms, including ICE Form I-200 (Warrant for Arrest of an Alien)”

The border crisis has reached new levels of absurdity. The Transportation Security Administration is now reportedly allowing arrest warrants from illegal immigrants as an acceptable form of ID.

When it comes to border security and immigration, it’s like we’re not even trying anymore.

Adam Shaw and Bill Melguin report at FOX News:

TSA confirms it lets illegal immigrants use arrest warrants as ID in airports

The Transportation Security Administration confirmed to Fox News on Friday that it allows illegal immigrants to use arrest warrants as an alternative form of ID to board airplanes.

“For non-citizens and non-U.S. nationals who do not otherwise have acceptable forms of ID for presentation at security checkpoints, TSA may also accept certain DHS-issued forms, including ICE Form I-200 (Warrant for Arrest of an Alien),” a TSA spokesperson told Fox News. That refers to a civil immigration arrest warrant, not a criminal arrest warrant.

The agency added that the document will then be validated via an “alien identification number” being checked against a number of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) databases.

“All passengers whose identity is verified through alternate procedures receive additional screening before being allowed into the secure area of the airport,” the statement said.

While the policy has been in place pre-dating the Biden administration, Republicans are raising new concerns about it amid the ongoing crisis at the southern border.

Jennie Taer of the Daily Caller has more:

Responding to Republican Texas Rep. Lance Gooden’s Dec. 15 inquiry about illegal migrants flying across the country, TSA Administrator David Pekoske explained that certain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents may be considered acceptable forms of alternate identification for non-citizens, including a “Warrant for Arrest of Alien” and a “Warrant of Removal/Deportation.”

“TSA’s response confirms the Biden Administration is knowingly putting our national security at risk,” Gooden told the DCNF. “Unknown and unvetted immigrants shouldn’t even be in the country, much less flying without proper identification.”

“TSA is committed to ensuring that all travelers, regardless of immigration status, are pre-screened before they arrive to the airport, have their pre-screening status and identification verified at security checkpoints, and receive appropriate screening based on risk before entering the sterile area of the airport,” Pekoske wrote.

Here’s an obvious question:

Rep. Lance Gooden of Texas recently appeared on FOX News to discuss this:

As Trump has frequently pointed out, if we don’t have a border we don’t have a country.

Does an arrest warrant come with a picture? How do they know it’s the same person?
Can anyone borrow the warrant and claim it’s for them?
Do the sworn officers of TSA have a duty to detain or notify the issuing community?
If the person is leaving the jurisdiction of the warrant would the TSA be knowingly aiding or abetting a criminal suspect to flee justice?

You’re telling me that my wife and I, both US Army veterans, have to show photo IDs and potentially submit to a gratuitous grope by some barely educated TSA agent to fly to Texas to visit the grandkids. But an illegal alien can just give them an alien identification number and get waived aboard.

I don’t care if it’s a “civil immigration arrest warrant” or not. If it is a valid arrest warrant, why isn’t TSA arresting the individual? If they won’t, I call on Congress to rescind their designation as a federal law enforcement agency.

I’m sitting here trying to understand the legality of a FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER being handed a document ordering the arrest or deportation of the bearer, and NOT IMMEDIATELY APPREHENDING THEM.

Would it be possible to build a wall on a bunch of adjacent parcels of private land about 5 miles north of the current border? Cede that land to the Federales and protect what is north with bared arms. Show them we aren’t effing around, Brandon.

Perhaps they will start accepting sex offender certifications soon. America welcomes undocumented workers and documented rapists.

What’s next? “Some members of the undocumented community have not risen to the level where they have active arrest warrants. In the name of equity, we have decided that signed and notarized bomb threats will now be considered acceptable identification for air travel.”

Name and papers please.

My name is Jose. No papers. I’m undocumented.

Okay, Jose, here’s an arrest warrant. Now you are documented. Get on the plane.

Next.

Too bad the plane is not heading to Mehico. Land there and deplane the passengers. Preferably in Yucatan, Tabasco, Chiapas, or Campeche. Or, even Wuatamala. Better for us US.

Mehico as much of the problemo as DC. They allow, or even aid the “migrants” on their way here to where the gringos are. Stop the remittances. Seize their dinero. You know in the same fashion as they seize the $$$$$$$ from REAL Americanos when traveling with ca$h. Make it of no value to come here. Do NOT build it and they will NOT come.

I wish this was an Onion article.

Did they fly to the border then walk across? Where are they flying to?

My guess is they 1) get caught at the border, 2) get flown to Sc or Fl, 3) get in plane to get over to CA or donde sea que viva la familia.

Meanwhile… ICE thinks they are still in SC or FL.

“As Trump has frequently pointed out, if we don’t have a border we don’t have a country.”

That’s the plan. The Davos crowd wants there to no longer be a United States of America. They actively oppose the whole notion of Natural Rights.

The USA has jumped the shark, it might be time to call it a day and pray for SMOD

henrybowman in reply to Skip. | January 22, 2022 at 10:41 pm

    SMOD is too indiscriminate.
Kim has his eye on San Francisco. The Ayatollah wants to send backpack bombers to DC. If we could just get NYC to insult the nation of Pakistan, we’d have ourselves a game worth catering buffalo wings to watch.

“While the policy has been in place pre-dating the Biden administration, Republicans are raising new concerns about it amid the ongoing crisis at the southern border.”

Then they need to ask the simple question – Who signed the order authorizing this fiasco?
Then have them assigned to the new civil service post counting rocks in Death Valley.

    Nobody is ever punished. Nobody.
That is going to be up to us.
That’s not a threat, it’s what Madame Lazonga’s crystal ball is streaming.

The TSA is almost as good as the FBI at protecting Americans.

Both should be disbanded with no replacement ever.
