Sen. Paul to Fauci: “You are the Lead Architect for the Response From the Government and Now 800,000 People Have Died”

“More people have died now under President Biden than did under President Trump. You are the one responsible.”

Sen. Rand Paul ate Fauci’s lunch and went for seconds during a Senate hearing on Tuesday. It was a glorious eight minutes.

Here is the full video. I will show excerpts below.

Fauci had the nerve to blame Paul’s constant legitimate criticisms on any death threats he received. He pointed out a “Fire Fauci” animation on Paul’s website.

Oh, did Fauci forget that someone shot at Paul at a baseball field? How about when Paul’s neighbor attacked him?

Fauci barely answered any of Paul’s questions.

Instead, Fauci acted more like a politician. I am not kidding:

Paul: “This wasn’t the only time. Your desire to take down those who disagree with you didn’t stop with Harvard, Oxford and Stanford. You conspired with Peter Daszak, who you communicated with privately, and other members of the scientific community that wrote opinion pieces for ‘Nature,’ five of them signed a paper for ‘Nature,’ an opinion piece, 17 signed a paper that called it conspiracy theory, the idea that the virus could have originated in the lab. Do you think words like ‘conspiracy theory’ should be in a scientific paper?”

FAUCI: “Senator, I never used that word when I was referring to it. You’re distorting virtually everything — “

Paul: “Did you communicate with the five scientists who wrote the opinion piece in ‘Nature’ where they were describing, oh, there’s no way this could come from a lab?”

FAUCI: “That was not me. What I did — “

Paul: “Did you talk to any of those scientists privately?”

FAUCI: “You keep distorting the truth. It is stunning that you do that.”

Paul: “Did you talk to any of the scientists privately who wrote the opinion?”

FAUCI: “Yes.”

Paul: “You did. What were they telling you privately?”

FAUCI: “Well, let me explain. You know, you’re going back to that original discussion when I brought together a group of people to look at every possibility with an open mind. So not only are you distorting it, you are completely turning it around, as you usually do.”

Paul: “Were most of the scientists that came to you privately, did they come to you privately and say, ‘No way this came from the lab?’ Or was there an initial impression, Dr. Gary and others that were involved, was there an initial impression, actually, that it looked very suspicious for a virus that came from a lab?”

FAUCI: “Senator, we are here at a committee to look at a virus now that has killed almost 900,000 people. And the purpose of the committee was to try and get things out how we can help to get the American public. And you keep coming back to personal attacks on me that have absolutely no relevance to reality.”

Paul: “Do you think anybody has had more influence over a response to this than you have? Do you think it’s a great success — do you think it’s a great success what’s happened so far? Do you think the lockdown is very good for our kids? Do you think we slowed down the death rate? More people have died now under President Biden than did under President Trump. You are the one responsible. You are the architect. You are the lead architect for the response from the government and now 800,000 people have died. Do you think it’s a winning success what you’ve advocated for government?”

FAUCI: “Senator, first of all, if you look at everything that I’ve said, you accuse me of, in a monolithic way, telling people what they need to do. Everything I’ve said has been in support of the CDC guidelines. Wear a mask, get boosted, get vaccinated — “

Paul: “And you’ve advocated to make it coercive and — “

FAUCI: “Take everything that I’ve said — “

Paul: “You’ve advocated that it be done by mandate. You have advocated that your infallible opinion be dictated by law.”

FAUCI: “Right. So, again, Madam Chair, I would like just a couple of minute because this happens all the time. You personally attacked me, with absolutely not a shred of evidence of anything you say. So I would like to make something clear to the committee. He’s doing this for political reasons. What you need to do is — he said in front of this committee — “

Paul: “You think your takedown of three prominent epidemiologists was not political? That was my question.”

FAUCI: “You don’t want me to finish because you know what I’m going to say.”

Paul: “That was the question.”

Paul is correct.

Email me when he is forced to resign and/or jailed. I can be reached at

Sen. Paul has grilled Fraudci before, but nothing has happened.
At this point, it is evident to anyone paying attention that Fraudci is not just incompetent. He is a criminal trying to cover up his involvement, at the expense of American lives and economy.
This is frustrating. When is he going to charged for his crimes?
We’ve seen quite a few lives ruined under “lying to Congress” accusations, but this guy gets off unharmed? Gets a 350K per year retirement instead?
Unbelievable!

Fauci is finally facing the music for causing the complete loss of confidence Americans used to have in “The Science”. Now that “The Science” is abandoning him, he is just throwing bombs at everybody. The Weeping Walinsky has pretty much admitted that her CDC has been wrong about everything for the past 2 years. Even Jen Psacki has been walking back the White House position on masks and vax… states are revising their statistics to separate death statistics by covid vs with covid…. WHO is advising against taking the boosters….

Faucism is collapsing on itself and the “The Fowch” can’t keep his story straight between the fawning, adoring media and hostile Congress. The end is nigh.

Unlike any other drug, none of the usual avenues have been followed other than Fauci’s arrogance

TLDW. Did Paul demand Fauci’s resignation?

/didn’t think so.

Well, he IS the science. He created this mess.

Science seems to me to be a collaborative cooperation toward getting closer to find out what the real physcial truth is.

Science is not an extremely arrogant command, sometimes to simply manipulate people (like Fauci’s initial paternalistic lie about masks to preserve them for health-care workers) from a malignant little troll who makes it all about him. In that way, I would kind of dispute that Lord Fauci IS science itself.

Einstein’s theory of general relativity is over one hundred years old. It’s still being tested to this day. “Science” is the cutting edge of knowledge, that acknowledges that it may change tomorrow. Fauxi speaks in absolutes, and calls it “science.” It’s not science, it’s hubris.

Any time anyone tells you the “science is settled”, they are ignorant or lying or both.

Fauci is in my opinion a scheming jackass, pure swamp, another example of scum rising to the top.

Fauci was also caught on a hot mic calling Senator Marshall of Kansas a moron. Senator Marshall is an Ob-Gyn.

Paul would be smart if he kept drilling the part about Fauci being the lead architect on this pandemic response and now 800k are dead. Who can argue with that logic that this man doesn’t need to be fired.

Rand Paul’s Senate Committee performance is phenomenal. Laser focused, good on his feet, stays cool while delivering devastating data! He doesn’t use as much emotion as Cruz, but I think having one doctor tell another, in a calm voice, “Excuse me, you’re not God” knocks it out of the park. Kung POW!

a doctor, but he sure argues like an ethical, winning prosecutor. The anti-Binger.

And in the end, he’s just another Trey Gowdy. All talk and no action while Fauci plays the victim in this debacle.

Between his involvement with the Wuhan lab and his active suppressing of alternative treatments to “covid,” forget jail time. Fraudchi needs to get the death penalty.

The fact that he quashed the use of HCQ and Ivermectin for early treatment is criminal, and no doubt contributed significantly to those 800,000 deaths.

“Well, let me explain . . .

And when that phrase inevitably comes out of Fauci’s mouth you know darn well that everything he says after that is going to be an outright lie as he desperately attempts to cover his ass for his incompetent response an behavior as lead architect of the pandemic.

Somebody here who is familiar with civil service laws please tell us how hard it would be to fire Fauci, or if it even can be done.
.

If you’re Joe Average Federal Civil Servant, very difficult.

With Fauci, they’ll encourage him to retire and give him a nice financial incentive to do so.

Which reminds me, if you read Cindy Adams’ column in the NY Post today, it includes some commentary about Fauci:

Medical colleagues on Fauci: “Important for him to be important, to face cameras, be quoted. Nothing new. He’s been around a long time and when we worked with him during the HIV years, he was the same. Itchy to be on TV, in headlines, out front, quoted, important. He craves it.”
