NYC Hate Crimes Soared in 2021, Especially Against Jews, Asians, Hispanics

The majority of hate crimes took place in Manhttan.

NYC saw a 96% rise in hate crimes in 2021 compared to 2020.

Progressive Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg promised to expand the hate crimes division to address all the hate in the city. However, he also promised to go soft on other crimes.

Asian hate crimes went up by 343%. The city reported 30 in 2020 but had 133 in 2021.

From Fox News:

On Friday, Bragg called anti-Asian hate “intolerable” and added, “We will not stand for it.”

“Our [Asian American and Pacific Islander] brothers and sisters have been spit upon, coughed at, told to go back home,” he said. “In my office we are deepening our capacity.”

He continued: “We’re expanding our hate crimes unit so that we can give these cases the resources that they deserve.”]

The Hispanic hate crimes went up by 700%. They only had one in 2020 and eight in 2021.

But once again the anti-Semitic hate crimes seem to get pushed into the background. The change from 2020 to 2021 isn’t as flashy but look at how many occurred those two years.

I just wish they would treat all hate crimes equally. Anti-Semitic crimes in NYC have remained in the hundreds.

2018: 186
2019: 234
2020: 134
2021: 207

Remember, these stats cover all of NYC. The last column shows anti-Semitic hate crimes made up 38% of all the hate crimes covered by the NYPD in 2021.

Blagg has his hands full because Manhattan had the bulk of hate crimes:

Manhattan 199

Brooklyn 119

Queens 102

Bronx 44

Staten Is. 17

Biden has just signed an executive order directing that these figures be classified and not released to the public for 50 years or until whoever shot JFK confesses.

Further, it is explicitly directed that if any of this material is included in CRT training it shall be punishable for 15 years to life.

Must be all those white supremacists running around Manhattan. It certainly couldn’t be members of a certain religion or those that make up, say, 13% of the population. No, definitely white supremacists.

Some of it is members of that religion, but they’re not attacking Asians. No, most of the anti-Jewish and anti-Asian crimes are committed by people with one trait in common: they’re black.

Hate has no home in Democrat communities.
Instead, it has a house with many mansions.

%700 percent increase sounds like a lot until you realize it means the number “jumped” from 1 to 8. This is how they sensationalize stories like this.

I’m pretty sure that those in charge of the Peoples’ Republic of New York City secretly consider the hate crimes against those groups to be proof of the “vibrancy” of their city.

Top 4 states for hate crimes
1- california
2- new york
3- new jersey
4- washington

How virtuous of them to omit identifying the perpetrators of these crimes.

Yet no anti-Muslum attacks, curious. They tell me there will be after every Jihadi acts.
Aggie9595 there must be something common about those 4 but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Huh? Look again. There were 14 anti-Moslem attacks reported, up from 5 the previous year. That’s 3% of the total.
