NYPD Kicks Out Mom, Upset Child From Applebee’s Over Vaccine Cards, Arrest Others

NYPD has had quite a month thanks to NYC’s stupid vaccine mandates. Bill de Blasio forced private businesses to require people, including children, to have the COVID vaccine.
On December 15, officers surrounded the mom and child while telling them they have to leave because they do not have vaccine cards.
A protest happened at the same time in the Applebee’s. I do not know if the mom brought the child to the protest or it’s just a coincidence. The police arrested four people and charged them with criminal trespass.

“Unless you have vaccination cards, you have to exit the restaurant,” an officer could be heard saying in the video.
The child appears upset and covers his face as the officers attempt to defuse the situation.
Others in the restaurant heckle the NYPD officers as they ask the group to leave.
“Scaring a child. Traumatizing a child. Hope you feel good about yourself, NYPD,” one protester yells.
An officer then addresses the entire group of protesters.
“If you leave voluntarily, you will not have charges pressed against you. Otherwise, you will be arrested for trespass. This will be your only warning,” he says in the video.
A black man compared it to the Civil Rights Movement:
Another protestor, who is African American, likened the demonstrations to sit-ins carried out by Martin Luther King and other civil rights activists in the 1960s who were protesting lunch counter segregation.
“It’s the same thing, it’s segregation all over again,” he said on a video posted online.
“As a black man I feel like I’m being pushed to the side and I don’t count unless I jump through the hoops of what the government tells me to do, and they are demanding that they invade my body autonomy.”
“This is not what America is about… we have had enough and we will stand up for our freedom before we lose it all.”
On Monday, police arrested five people at a Burger King, including Mitchell Bosch. Other officers arrested him twice this month at protests against the mandate, including the Applebee’s protest mentioned above.

Every step that the new NAZI enforcers take is the real thing, while slowly acclimating the populace to their Gestapo tactics.
The new NAZI brown shirts (BLM and Antifa) will join with the Gestapo (police), and enlist the COVID Karens to identify and report, so that the population will be cowed into submission.
The practice is to deploy the tactics in cities where they are most likely to be accepted, and to hone their skills. Then they will be ready to bring those tactics to larger towns and cities nationwide.

Keep this in mind when you hear people talking about how their local police would never, ever, try to confiscate their guns. If the management told these people to leave and they refused, and then the management called the police, then the police are doing the right thing. Trespassing is trespassing, whether it’s BLM or these people. If the property owner doesn’t want you there you have to leave.
But I don’t see evidence of any of that. Did the management call the cops, or did they just show up? Did they first inform the people that they weren’t allowed to be on the premises, or did they just barge in and arrest them? This information doesn’t seem to be available, and it’s crucial to understanding the story.

That doesn’t tell us anything at all about whether the restaurant management told them to leave, before calling the police. The police don’t own the place, and have no authority to revoke the people’s presumed license to be on property that is open to the public.
Well, Milhouse. Here you are again ignoring the obvious. The obvious is that the restaurants are being forced to be the vaccine police, else they lose their license. They make themselves open to harassment from health department food inspectors, code inspectors, and a host of other administrative enforcers of the vaccine mandates.
So yes, they may or may not have asked the patrons to leave. But they more than likely called the police so that the restaurant managers didn’t have to ask for the proof.
Same result. Businesses are being forced to be the enforcement arm of Democratic Party mandates. And the police are happy to oblige by harassing patrons over what is not a law but a pronouncement by dictators.
Resolution. A massive boycott of any business that supports the mandates. No need to show your vaccine card. Simply surround the restaurant with peaceful protestors (not the Portland, Baltimore, or Minneapolis style peaceful protesters). Force the enforcers to go out of business. Prevent the vaxxed from entering the business.
I worry that we are at the point where some Americans have decided to ally themselves with 1930s era brown shirts (BLM and Antifa) and with Gestapo style enforcers (Police in NY, and other Democratic Party run cities)
None of that answers the question. When someone opens his property to the public, any person has a presumed license to enter and remain there unless he is specifically told to leave. Upon being told to leave he must do so as quickly as practicable, and if he doesn’t then he is trespassing and the owner may use as much force as necessary to remove him, or may call the police who are required to use as much force as necessary to remove him. So the crucial question here is: Did the management ever tell these people to leave? If they did, then the police were doing the right thing; if not then they weren’t, and all the criticism here is justified. But nothing in the story tells us what really happened.

In addition, I blame the mother for any of the child’s “trauma,” not the cops.
Stop using children for political tools in your protests! It is ugly when the left does it and no less unsightly when the right does it.
This resolution may seem logical but is what they want. Get the populace to do their bidding.

My thoughts on the mandates are they are measuring compliance and conditioning the weak minded to be compliant, with the intent of mandating only mail in ballots, this November. Version 2 of the 2020 elections is on the horizon.

There were no officers there trying to defuse the situation. Their very presence was a provoking escalation. To enforce an unconstitutional vaccine mandate edict. They were violating the oath to the Constitution that all officers take. And all government officials who issued the unconstitutional mandate. The proper response for police when called to enforce unconstitutional edicts should be”We don’t care and neither should you.”
