Robert Francis O’Rourke couldn’t beat Ted Cruz for a Senate seat. He failed miserably in the presidential race.
So why not run for governor? Third time is a charm, right?

It is either prima facia evidence that the demonrats think they can manipulate the vote in Texas, or it’s a money laundering operation in the makings.
Or it could be another “Abortion Barbie” exercise in futility, undertaken in hopes the right will be forced to spend money in Texas that might change outcomes elsewhere.

Politics are “small” when they let people keep what they earn and do what they think is best, and “divisive” when what people want is given more weight than what their would-be rulers want.
Beto Male stands for BIG politics that intrudes on every aspect of people’s lives, where there isn’t room for different opinions about anything at all.
Yeah, Texas definitely needs a big “change”, because nobody wants to live there. Or something.
Just like any adolescent, Beta doesn’t know when to stop trying.

Look up the word “Hubris” in the dictionary and you’ll see a picture of this buck-toothed jackass.
He’s married to the heiress of a substantial fortune. He needs something to do to keep him occupied, and politics is it.
Let me point out the obvious:
1. The guy may be a dolt, but he is a rich dolt. He will outspend the GOP by a wide margin.
2. Hollywood and the rest of the Joseph Goebbels media love him.
3. Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio are deep blue islands. Like New York and Virginia, Texas is becoming a case of Communist city slickers vs. the rural folks the hate and despise.
4. The Cruz campaign repeatedly hit the snooze button in 2018 and nearly lost to Beto. The squishy semi-left Texas GOP seems to have learned nothing from that near debacle – Cronyn almost lost in 2020 to a little-known kook even the Communists didn’t like.
If the Texas GOP runs another complacent campaign similar to the ones they barely waged against Beto in 2018 and Hegar in 2020 they will lose.
Yep. For most Texans, he’s about as popular as V.D. or magic dirt, but underestimating him or the Democrat penchant for cheating in Blue cities would be a mistake.
There is election fraud in Texas. Beto might be the best loser the Dems have to “win” an election.
A few more points:
1. El Paso, Beto’s home is blue as well.
2. He can self finance to large degree
3. A top ticket campaign statewide benefits down ballot d/prog candidates
4. The campaign helps build/maintain the local, County and Statewide d/prog election muscle; callers, door knockers, precinct Captain, fundraising/donor lists for a more capable Statewide candidate(s) in the future
There is a method to the madness, it’s mostly about building for the future and assisting down ballot races. If a candidate is running they can take advantage of their opponents implosion, but not if they aren’t on the ballot. Many lower level offices aren’t contested so the establishment candidate wins by default. Food for thought in our own areas.

You can make a nice living for yourself and your relatives and friends just by running for office.
The laws vary from state to state but you can hire people to work in your campaign and pay them handsomely.
If you word the reasons the right way, you can use the campaign money for lots of things in your personal life.
When you have no marketable skills this is what you do.
You become a grifter.
Beto O’Rourke is the gum-on-your-shoe politician that won’t go away. He obviously has nothing better to do with his time other than trying to foist himself on the public.
Beto is doing the right thing. He’s adjusting his expectations. If not president, senator; if not senator, governor. Somewhere there is a zoning board that desperately needs him. Seattle, perhaps. Autonomous zones are an exciting new frontier that needs a champion.

I would take this seriously, he has done better than any other Democrat has in Texas since the early 90s.

Even the Democrats don’t want him to run. They are hoping to get that Austinite dope-smoking wastrel McConaughey in the race, but he probably won’t stand a chance now that he angered the vaccine Karens by announcing he wouldn’t be getting his kids jabbed. That leaves the two-time loser Beta Soy Boy O’Rourke, the John F Kerry of Texas. The biggest problem with O’Rourke is that people just don’t like him after he lost twice. Texans don’t forget or forgive that. Vodka Ann Richards found that out the hard way, becoming even more of a drunken shrew after W Bush booted her from office in the 90s and she spent the rest of foul-mouthed life in a booze-fueled rage. There isn’t another single Democrat in Texas with a statewide presence, but we’re still not even close to the primaries yet, so anything could happen.
Why does this socialists think socialism, open borders (you know send the Texas State Guard, National Guard, and DPS home) gun confiscation is a unifying message in Texas?
By the way, Texans. I never want to hear any of you complain about transplanted Californians again. At least not this one. Texas is entirely responsible for this furry. I had nothing to do with it.
In fact, I think I’ll cut out a picture of “Beto” and carry it around with me in my wallet. The next time I hear a Texan sneer about Californians ruining the state I’ll whip it out and say, “I have seven words for you. Beto O’Rourke, native Texan. So shut up.”

His stance on gun control may just be due to his desire to make the world safer for criminals. After all, he’s been arrested twice – once for burglary and once for DUI – though he wasn’t prosecuted in either case.
