Parents Retake Control In Virginia, Leading Glenn Youngkin To Victory Over Terry McAuliffe

Parents want to retake control of their children’s educations from the far left educational infrastructure and the teachers unions. It’s the civil rights issue of our time. Democrats who don’t run from Critical Race Theory and its variants will be swept away, even in blue Virginia.

Make no mistake about it, Glenn Youngkin’s defeat of Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia Governors race, almost unthinkable just a couple of months ago, was a revolt over education and whether children belong to their parents or to leftist educational activists.

There were other important issues, like Biden’s mishandling of the economy, but education was where the energy was. And that energy was centered around parents objecting to the racialization of education.

The parents protest movement has erupted in many parts of the nation, even in deep deep blue Rhode Island. Nowhere was the intensity of this parents revolution more intense than in Loudoun County in Virginia, with a seemingly endless series of stories dominating the national news. McAuliffe won Loudoun County by about 10 points, Biden won a year ago by 25 points.

Parents around the country have run headlong into battle with the ‘progressive’ educational bureaucracy and teachers unions. The National School Board Association tried to sic the FBI on parents, comparing them to “domestic terrorists,” and Attorney General Merrick Garland was happy to oblige; rather than crushing parents, it energized them. That energy will be put to the test moving forward, as virtually every major institution from education to entertainment to sports to medicine to law to major corporations has been hollowed out, but for this day Virginia has shown parents what is possible.

What is happening is nothing short of a parents revolution that cuts across political divides. It’s the ultimate cross-over movement, multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-party. It’s a true rainbow coalition of parents, contrary to the mainstream media and Democrat attempt to portray it as a white supremacy movement — it’s a parental supremacy movement.

Guess what, parents don’t like their children being taught that they are born oppressors or born victims, they don’t like the obsessive focus on skin color. Parents don’t want their kids taught to hate their country. Parents don’t like Critical Race Theory or its variants, which are now toxic politically. Parents in Virginia just told woke educators and the policitians who support them to take their privilege wheels and shove them.

Parents particularly don’t like school bureaucracies that cover up rapes because it would be inconvenient to the woke agenda. And parents don’t like being told “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

Parents want to retake control of their children’s educations from the far left educational infrastructure and the teachers unions. It’s the civil rights issue of our time. Democrats who don’t run from Critical Race Theory and its variants will be swept away, even in blue Virginia.

Special thanks goes to you professor thanks for your tireless efforts on this topic.

Ausgezeichnet, but they haven’t stopped counting yet. I still don’t trust them until they put away the ballots, lock the doors and station an armed guard until the results are declared official.

I don’t trust these leftists either. And the absentee ballot stockpiles are exactly why McAuliffe hired Mark Elias and his election integrity group to help find him votes.

“Democrats who don’t run from Critical Race Theory and its variants will be swept away”

As you so often are, I sure hope you’re right on this.

Don’t celebrate too much yet, they have until noon on Friday to keep counting absentee ballots. As we know, absentee ballots cast at the cutoff time tend to go 100% Democrat.

Buzz from the twitterverse is that the absentee ballots are in shipping containers on cargo ships.
That is obviously tongue in cheek, but, hey,,, just the thought is awesome.

Even XiNN and MSDNC are calling it for Youngkin. This signals he built up an early lead far enough outside the margin of fraud that the Dems couldn’t pull off a steal without even normies recognizing it.

I just got up. Have they found thousands of McAuliffe ballots in the trunk of someone’s car, yet? Or is it too soon?

Yes, we are! Thank you, concerned Virginia mothers and fathers for leading this charge. Republicans own Education in Virginia now!

Yes, and it’s the first time in a long time that I am feeling truly hopeful!
Praying it continues, and this is the beginning of dominoes to take our country back.
    Blessings to you all!

Another 4 years of Trump and nobody will want the place. Blatant thievery, chicanery, white power and insurrection are the hallmarks of today’s Republicanism. There is nothing to be gained from this election for education except book banning and the elimination of free speech.

I haven’t seen a blowup over so little since The Great Red Scare or the Commie Hunt. Such a loss, the House Unamerican Activities Committee (HUAC). Now in those days, it was normal to believe whatever the Committee said so if they said that CRT was commie inspired, there was no question.

In those days, the Committee would have called up those the folks who came up with their so-called theory and given the professors and the educators and the rest of those people who claimed to be so dedicated to teaching our kids all that lefty-looney stuff rather than the mighty-righty stuff.

Now, in an unfortunate series of events, HUAC was disbanded in 1975 and there has been no real commie hunters since. It appears though the republicans have come up with some citizens with the skills to jump on and tear up commie propaganda like CRT.

Those Authors are trying to tell our kids they are natural born oppressors and blacks are naturally suppressed. No dice, everybody knows you get those things like racial selectivity from our parents. We’re not born racists. We’re trained in selective animosity, the essential elements of racism and when to bring them up.

But the great State, the Commonwealth of Virginia has provided us with citizen commie hunters.

I believe that parents should be involved to make sure their kids are getting a good education. I’ve not considered home school effective unless the parents are both degreed. There is no question, some kids are well equipped without much parental support.

I lost my faith in parental judgement though because of the response, egged on by Republicans. They tried to throw out the Common Core. I continually ask people to point out to me what upset them about the Common Core. There was never an answer.

The CRT should be a misapplied hiccup, but it keeps dragging people into uncharted waters. Some of it, CRT, should be studied, but other parts are simply wrong. Before demanding it be thrown out, perhaps it would be a good idea to check the claims made for veracity.

“This is not the End. This is not even the Beginning of the End. But, it is perhaps, the End of the Beginning.” Churchill

I fully expect this election to serve as a signpost (as if one were needed after 2020) that “elections can do nothing more to save the country.”

Sam Adams knew when it was time to fight. So should we.

To borrow from James Carville’s phrase made famous in 1992:

“It’s the socialism, stupid.”

That energy will be put to the test moving forward…

Sadly, that energy will probably be gone in a month. Leftists, however, will just bide their time, and continue on like nothing has happened. They’re a persistent lot.

Agreed, time will tell. Let’s revisit this in a few months and see where we are.

UVA’s Larry Sabato must have given strong internal polling data that warned that the WH a bloodbath was coming to Virginia in this election cycle. What a convenient time for a fully vaccinated Jen Psaki to test positive for CV-19, be quarantined, and miss today’s morning-after press conference. Think about it.

Seriously, what kind of effing maroon would say that parents should not have any say at all in what school teaches their children? According to this poll, 3% said “not at all”.

This is why we DESPERATELY need to reinstitute a basic intelligence and civics test in order to vote.

This is ridiculous to previously unplumbed depths.

“…what kind of effing maroon would say that parents should not have any say at all in what school teaches their children? ”
Education “professionals” who don’t have children. Like Randi Weingarten

I can only imagine Air Force One approaching Joint Base AFB Andrews around 1:00 AM after the Democrat-controlled media complex called it for Youngkin. Imagine if you will a radio conversation that went like this with the air traffic controller:

Joint Base Andrews Tower, this is POTUS requesting a flyby.” The tower controller replies, “Negative POTUS, the pattern is full.”

Not so fast! McAuliffe has has not conceded- and with good reason. Sources say that Attorney General Merrick Garland is going to federal court to freeze the election results pending an investigation into allegations that terrorism disenfranchised tens of thousands of McAuliffe supporters.

Apparently the sight of so many, slim, attractively coiffed and well turned out suburban moms so terrorized Terry’s base that many of his voters turned back from the polling centers in abject fear.

Garland believes that the sartorial display presented by these moms is the modern day equivalent of wearing a Nazi SS uniform. Indeed, such a display was a clear projection of the twisted, malevolent philosophy that loving parents’ daily toil and sacrifice for their children’s growth, adjustment and well-being is somehow equivalent to the woke indoctrination of middling school functionaries on the public dole.

McAuliffe concedes, congratulates Youngkin after governor election upset
Democratic Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe conceded the race to Republican Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin on Wednesday morning, after news organizations called the result overnight.

“While last night we came up short, I am proud that we spent this campaign fighting for the values we so deeply believe in,” McAuliffe said.

“Congratulations to Governor-Elect Glenn Youngkin on his victory. I hope Virginians will join me in wishing the best to him and his family,” McAuliffe added.

This is a great victory and the beginning of the fight against the woke left led by parents who see the effect of the woke left in education and on issues relating to gender.

Trolls that poll is what’s you see in that pool proves you’re out of touch with voters.

The biggest takeaway for me is that cheating will be far more rampant and sophisticated in the next election.

Democrats cannot win on merit; they know that, and last night proved it.
Everyone was watching this; indeed, GOP poll workers were on point watching for the steal, but 2022 will be far more widespread, with a lot more Zuckerbucks in play.

Was, by chance, the Virginia election a gimmie by the Democrats—a test run of sorts? After all, Terry was a horrible candidate.

In 2022, they will bring their A-game. Dominion Voting Machines that are operating on 10-G. What did not change is the progressive’s resolve and our corrupt, cowardly, and despicable judiciary system.

Then let’s all do our part in our precinct, County and State to prevent d/prog shenanigans. Volunteer as a poll watcher. Organize a group of like minded folks to put pressure on local officials. Make sure you have a Clerk who identifies shenanigans, a Sheriff who investigated and recommends charges, a DA who will prosecute election violations and a Circuit/District Judge who will make sure it gets a fair and complete trial.

Beyond that link up your group with other local groups. Then link up throughout your Congressional District and across your State to leverage the strength of your coalition and at least pressure officials if not replace them with more liberty minded candidates. No one is going to do this hard work for us. We have to be willing to do more than complain about the candidates if we don’t like the choices. Participatory democracy requires effort. If nothing else the d/prog are willing to make that effort. The question then becomes are we?

Each Virginia jurisdiction has a 3-member electorial board. Two are appointed from the party of the Governor and one is from the other party. Right now, that is two Democrats and one Republican. By the time of the 2022 election it will be reversed. The Electorial Boards usually are unianimous in their votes.

What the schools, the teachers’ unions in particular, have forgotten is that education of the children is a delegated authority from the general population. It is not an inherent right of any system; rather it is a derived and entrusted duty – revocable at any time and for any reason (including none) by “we the people.”

Ditto, by the way, for any public charge awarded to an agency.

CRT is going to do to the Dems what Klinton’s AWB did in ’94. He just had to be the hero and pushed too much too fast. By pushing CRT, they have gotten parents back into the education sphere, and that will have the effect of reversing the communismization of our schools in much the same way that 30 million AR-15’s has solidified the 2nd amendment.
