Biden Administration Admits There Are Far More Americans Stranded in Afghanistan Than They Said Previously

“The Biden administration is in touch with nearly 400 Americans who are stranded in Afghanistan, a figure that far exceeds the administration’s claims”

Back in August, when President Joe Biden abandoned American citizens in Afghanistan during a disastrous withdrawal from the country, we were told that it was about 100 people.

Many people suspected at the time that the number was actually much higher, and it turns out it is.

Adam Kredo reports at the Washington Free Beacon:

The Biden Admin Said It Left 100 Americans in Afghanistan. They Now Admit It’s Far More.

The Biden administration is in touch with nearly 400 Americans who are stranded in Afghanistan, a figure that far exceeds the administration’s claims that about 100 Americans were left in the nation following the United States’ hurried exit from Kabul, according to a senior congressional source who was briefed Thursday by the State Department.

With Afghanistan in the administration’s rear-view mirror, U.S. officials are providing exact figures on the number of Americans who are still stranded and want to leave—although they are doing so in private, off-the-record forums—according to two senior congressional aides, who relayed the contents of the non-public call to the Washington Free Beacon.

The United States is in touch with 363 Americans who are stuck in war-torn Afghanistan and around 176 U.S. permanent residents who are asking to be evacuated immediately, Biden administration officials said on the call with congressional staff, according to the source, who requested anonymity to discuss non-public information. These figures demonstrate that senior Biden administration officials routinely misrepresented the number of stranded Americans to the public and Congress for nearly two months.

Anyone surprised?

Of course, the media moved on from the Afghanistan story after about two weeks. Since then, they’ve reported obsessively about the Democrat spending bill, and we’re now wrapping up three weeks on Dave Chappelle vs. the trans community.

Frankly, I don’t know why we’re even discussing Biden’s domestic agenda when there are still Americans trapped in Afghanistan.

Biden did a town hall event on CNN this week and didn’t get a single question about Afghanistan.

Brian Flood reports at FOX News:

CNN gives Biden a pass on Afghanistan, completely ignores topic during 90-minute town hall

President Biden took questions for roughly 90 minutes during a highly publicized, although low-rated, CNN town hall event on Thursday, but nobody bothered to ask the commander-in-chief about the botched withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.

“How Anderson Cooper — who has won awards for his reporting from war zones including Afghanistan — felt no need to ask even one question on Afghanistan is telling. Former CNNer Jen Psaki and current chief comms adviser to the president had to be pleased,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha said.

And what is the Biden State Department up to? They found time this week to tweet about International Pronouns Day.

We are being led by dangerous fools.

The Obama/Biden/Harris administration will guarantee electoral defeats for the next several election cycles because of what they’re doing. Let us pray they do more of the same.

American citizens got a good helping of liberty and economic prosperity for four years. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want more? Keep it up, President Alzheimer!

Yeah sure, because they only cheated the ONE time for Biden, now everything will be totally legit.

At this point nobody can possibly believe this demented moron won the biggest landslide in history with 81 million votes.

Ral leader even from the left would be better than this regime full of Dunning Kruger victims.

There are times when reality crashes through the Communists’ carefully constructed lie, and we see Communism as the repressive, genocidal failure it really is. The debacle in Afghanistan was one such time. The ongoing collapse of the US economy, the rising death rate due to out of control violent crime, the lives lost and destruction of billions of dollars of property at the hand of domestic terrorist groups like Antifa and BLM, the incarceration without trial of the J6 protestors in a proto American Gulag are other examples.

Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

Let’s see… this administration’s grasp of numbers leads them to believe 3,500,000,000,000,000 (spend) is the same is 0 (cost),so we shouldn’t be surprised they think 100 and 400 are not different.

TomaTOE, toMAHto.. are we really going to quibble over how manywere left behind?

(Practicing in case I get a phone call to fill in for Psaki)

The Regime did not care, and still doesn’t care, how many Americans it left stranded in Afghanistan.

Forever wanting to improve on my Psaki-skills…

“There are 400 Americans still there, but only 100 were “left behind”.

Or

“The 100 are American-American; the other 300 are just American”

“When we said 100, we weren’t counting spouses and children”

“This is what inflation does to numbers”

“We are experiencing supply-chain issues across the board, including evacuations”

“Due to COVID, we have a slowdown in processing their paperwork. If not for the vaccine mandate, the number would be higher”

All time winner…. “Last administrations fault for allowing so many to be there in the first place. It’s his mess… we are just cleaning it up sand doing a better job than he did”

I read the transcript of the CNN T-ball game, it was all cheerleader questions.

And he STILL came off absolutely pathetic. He was barely able to answer rehearsed, scripted questions with Tapper frantically trying to guide him to the answers.

Biden was always stupid and incompetent, but now he can’t even stay coherent and on-subject in the most friendly environments.

And what in the hell was that thing with his arms extended and fists clenched?

Paging Dr. Bandi Lee, paging Dr. Bandi Lee!

I’d love for a neurologist to diagnose that shit.

Hundreds of stranded Americans.

The demoncrats call that a major success.

Safety and inclusion. Nation building with the Taliban, housewarming gifts, and premature evacuation with benefits. Time will tell if it progresses as war without borders, but catastrophic anthropogenic immigration reform (CAIR) a.k.a. refugee crisis, with Americans left behind, is a foregone conclusion.

“The demoncrats call that a major success”

It armed our enemies and humiliated us. How is that not a success?

      A “DEMOCRAT SUCCESS”

Definition – when you fail at something so miserably and then have the temerity to claim it was actually a success.

      – Webster keeps adding words that enable Progressive agenda. I’d like to see this added – just one small change in language to offset the dozens of stupid woke changes.

The U.S. passes out citizenship papers at a faster rate than toilet paper is dispensed in an NFL stadium during 1/2 time. Those “citizens” in Afghanistan are no more citizens than the 160 million invaders and their u.s. born children that have overwhelmed this country in the last 50 years. In the next 50 years, we will have hundreds of millions of worthless parasites from failed third-world nations invading this nation. Already, the U..S. is a foreign nation to those of us who have deep connections.

Sometime in the late 1990’s this country reached a tipping point and headed down the wrong road.

It is now foreign to its citizens.

Welcome to the 3rd World – Banana Republic that was the USA.
