The Biden Stain

The Biden Stain

What happened the last 72 hours in Afghanistan is a stain on this country that will not wash away anytime soon. It’s Joe Biden’s stain.

What happened the last 72 hours in Afghanistan is a stain on this country that will not wash away anytime soon. It’s Joe Biden’s stain.

I saw that term “stain” used by Mike Allen at Axios, an inside-the-beltway mainstream establishment publication: 1 big thing: Biden’s stain:

Rarely has an American president’s predictions been so wrong, so fast, so convincingly as President Biden on Afghanistan.

Axios quoted Ryan Crocker, a former career diplomat and Obama’s Ambassador to Afghanistan:

Rarely has an American president’s predictions been so wrong, so fast, so convincingly as President Biden on Afghanistan.

CNN says it “threatens to stain Biden’s legacy.”

The stain, however, is not only on Biden’s legacy, it’s on our nation.

Biden is destroying our national sovereignty, security, and fight against the pandemic by opening the borders, while simultaneously harming our energy independence and economy. He has weaponized the federal law enforcement bureaucracy against political opponents, and turned the military senior officers into political indoctrination and social justice activists. We are only 7 months into the Biden presidency, and the damage is profound and accelerating. It’s hard to imagine what will be in a year or two or three at this pace.

Joe Biden may be an old fool, but what is happening is deliberate.

The Biden stain that will not wash away. Yeah, and the double debacle isn’t over yet. No one, at this point, has any idea how it will turn out in the end.

Yes we do. We can’t predict the specifics … but we sure as heck can predict with nearly 100% certainty that it’ll be a cluster F.

UserP in reply to PODKen. | August 15, 2021 at 10:16 pm

Perhaps I should have said, “we don’t know how bad it will turn out in the end.” We don’t know how many Americans will die as a result of this. It could be a real blood bath. It might be worse than we can imagine.

Tricking people into thinking it would all get better without Trump is perhaps the greatest stain.

Joe Biden may be an old fool, but what is happening is deliberate.

The photo presents poor optics of an old man abandoned and all alone. Where are the aids, the confidants, and the advisors? The photos depicts this is all his, and his alone. No one wanted to share the moment or the event with him. Look at all the empty seats. A pathetic, isolated old man. No one can or cares to support him.

CommoChief in reply to Brave Sir Robbin. | August 15, 2021 at 10:03 pm

I was struck by the same thought. Maybe the WH goal was to convey an image of strength; our leader facing up resolutely to a crisis. What they actually communicated was a man alone, unable to exert any influence much control over the situation, weak and impotent.

I’d rather that fool not be supported by anyone … rather than have him supported by all the fools that advise him … that should result in a smaller pool of dumb ideas …

“Where are the aids, the confidants, and the advisors?”

He put them all back in chains…!

“The photo presents poor optics of an old man abandoned and all alone.”

My caption would be, “What did I push last time to get the Animaniacs back?”

Biden is terrified that he might get COVID if others are in the room with him.

Yeah. The people who propped him up are now casting him aside.

The only question is who wins the power struggle to replace him?

Kamela is the presumptive lead, but she was also the presumptive nominee too, yet managed to lose before the first vote. Will she hold on to power here?

      The world wonders.

From the comments section of another article.

“ But, shortly after the photo was uploaded, a host of accounts noticed an error among the row of clocks on the wall, namely in the time difference between London and Moscow. The time for London read 16:29 (4:29 p.m.) and 19:29 (7:29 p.m.) for Moscow, giving it a three-hour difference.

“While Moscow is three time zones ahead of London, the U.K. is currently observing British Summer Time, meaning its clocks have gone forward by an hour and will not go back until October.

“Russia has not observed Daylight Saving Time since 2014, which explains why it is only currently ahead of the U.K. by two hours rather than three.

      […]

“Internet sleuths were quick to notice the error and while some believed it was simply that the clocks were wrong, others speculated the photo used had been taken earlier in the year.

The White House has been running 2 different photos from the weekend

One has him in a blue polo shirt

The other one in a suit

He’s practicing for being alone in his room at ‘The Home’, wearing the drool cup and being spoon fed Cream O Wheat.

It’s time for Biden to come back from Camp David and give a Malaise speech.

The Friendly Grizzly | August 15, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Will this be when the handlers tell him to resign?

It is the opportune time and avoids 25thA… BUT… this doesn’t resolve the issue of the puppet masters that continue to run the show. All that is missing from the picture is Joe with an ice cream cone… his dementia aid. With or without Joe, the power that controls this sock puppet cares little for those that suffer… be in anywhere or here. They made that clear at O’s 60th bash. Maybe the Storming of the Prison to free the 1/6’ers is the modern Bastille? Jimmy Carter has been elevated in the pantheon of Dems. No one is below Joe of the Delaware Basement.

This is a dangerous time as the Dems may try some stunt to deflect from this. When you are being run out of town, make it look like you are leading a parade.

WestRock in reply to alaskabob. | August 15, 2021 at 11:32 pm

Let’s hope their next stunt (or manufactured emergency) has nothing to do with the anniversary coming up in three and a half weeks. When you think it can’t get any worse the hits just keep on coming. We are living in the most surreal of times for more than a few generations.

Trump said he should resign. He did that knowing that they cannot be perceived as doing something Trump says they should do.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Petrushka. | August 16, 2021 at 8:38 am

Or, Trump should just be quiet.

Downtick me all you may want, but when he keeps criticizing, he just looks bitter. Post-presidential GOP usually keep quiet and let their successor step on their own toes.

If Trump could just STFU for a few minutes, he would still be president and the Senate would be in the hands of the Republicans. But he can’t.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Stuytown. | August 16, 2021 at 10:44 am

One old human bear’s opinion: he needs to dial things way back if indeed he is running for president again. He keeps this constant stream of bluster, and even his most loyal base will start looking for someone else.

DSHornet in reply to Stuytown. | August 16, 2021 at 12:04 pm

Trump can be a king maker and a guiding light in national politics by not running for office again, which would bring out the crazies and give us Portland riots all over again, and working behind the scenes. It would be better to do only two things: Redirect the GOP and train others who don’t have his baggage.

Some times the best thing to say is little or nothing. If he had kept this in mind during his administration, especially the last year, we wouldn’t be where we are now. Teddy Roosevelt was right about walking softly and carrying a big stick.
          .

Something else to note, the times on the clocks are wrong. The clocks on the wall are showing London three hours behind Moscow. But London is currently only two hours behind Moscow thanks to DST. So either this picture was taken before March 14, 2021 and they’re just using it to imply Biden’s actually doing anything, or for some reason nobody’s noticed that the London time at Camp David has been wrong for literally 5 months. And this administration is so incompetent, I can’t say for certain which one it is.

Voyager in reply to rhvette. | August 16, 2021 at 1:53 am

I’m reading elsewhere that Kamela’s hair is the length it was in March, not August, so looks like this is a stock photo from March.

Still an unsettling message they’re sending out with it, false as it is.

NavyMustang in reply to rhvette. | August 16, 2021 at 9:43 am

Never attribute to a conspiracy what can be shown to be incompetence.

I can see that the time change was overlooked by mistake or the person doing the changing confused London time with GMT.

Too many years in the military and fed govt tells me that is the probable answer.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to rhvette. | August 16, 2021 at 10:49 am

    To: rhvette
    From: Washigton Bureaucracy
    Subject: clock settings

    Dear rhvette:

We thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. As a result, we are opening up a new government position, based out of the National Bureau of Standards. We will be hiring 15,463 personnel to go around to government offices to assure clocks are set property. Additional temporary personnel will be retained in March and November to assist in the DST changeover.

Each position will pay $145,000 per year, plus medical, pension, and government vehicle. As the US Government is an equal opportunity employer, no applications from white males will be considered.

    Yours truly,
    Shaniqua Jackson-Smith

One can only conclude that our republic has always been a charade, and that modern computing power and AI have made it unnecessary to maintain too high a semblance of fidelity to our constitution and values. Only a terrible tragedy along the lines of the phony ones warned of ceaselessly by the left can reverse things.

“I saw that term “stain” used by Mike Allen at Axios”

I prefer “taint.”
It’s not just trendier with the hipsters, but carries distinct and appropriate anatomical implications.

Biden is so bad that now Trump looks like he should be on Mount Rushmore. Just wait until the upcoming winter heating oil shortage.

ConradCA in reply to Oracle. | August 16, 2021 at 7:43 pm

Except that Trump was one of our best Presidents ever. You can tell that by the fact that he drove the progressive fascists insane.

And it looks like he outed some spy folks as well. Go get ’em biden*.
What a horses ass.

From the Caine Mutiny:

I’ve got those Yellow-stain blues,
those silly Yellow-stain blues,

the old Yellow-stain blues.

Seems fitting, although I daresay Captain Queeg was quite a bit saner than Joe.

I never thought I would live to see :
1) The collapse of the Soviet Union, and the fall of the Berlin Wall
2) People who hate the USA with positions of power in the government
3) A president who actually makes Jimmy Carter look competent, and patriotic.

Well, here we are…

Biden’s stain is not to be confused with Clinton’s stain [on that blue dress]. Did Hillary say “what difference does it make” yet?

Eastwood Ravine | August 16, 2021 at 3:24 am

But, hey, no more mean Tweets.,right?

I fully agree it was deliberate, to speed up the pull out ( and the original 9/11 idea would have piled on another Islamic victory on that date) is reason enough to show it.
My thinking is everyone making the decisions are in another room,

They cheated so hard to get this guy and it’s not working out very well. What a Terrible first year.

MaggotAtBroadAndWall | August 16, 2021 at 5:31 am

But at least Biden isn’t orange. So there’s that.

Jimmy Carter: Miss me yet?

It just seems like a normal government screwup to me.

“threatens to stain Biden’s legacy”

I’m sure CNN and the NYT will work hard to make sure that doesn’t happen.

We could blame the American voters for putting these double agents in office, except that the voters didn’t do that.

I just saw footage of a bunch of people clinging to the fuselage of a C-17 leaving Kabul, followed by footage of two of them falling to their deaths from what looks to be about 1500 feet altitude.

Hope Joe and Jen are enjoying their vacation.

Meanwhile, the worthless Blinken tried to blame this on Trump. FAIL.

That full resolution photo on the White House Twitter page you can zoom in pretty well, it outs 2 agents at the CIA and 3 agents at Doha Station. All just to show that President Sundowner can look like he’s in control and not drooling into his tapioca pudding.

The Friendly Grizzly | August 16, 2021 at 10:22 am

Remember, folks: we were all warned that if we voted for Trump, this would happen. And, it did!
