Taliban Sets Up Special Unit To Hunt Down Afghans Who Helped U.S. And Allied Forces

We gave them names. Politico: “The US separately has provided the Taliban with a list of Americans and Afghans it wants to evacuate from the country.”

The Taliban has set up a special unit to hunt down Afghans who worked for the U.S. and Western allies, the New York Post reported on Friday. The operation is being led by the members of the Al Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network, a Taliban faction with a history of killing and kidnapping American service members and civilians in the region.

The Taliban has reportedly seized U.S.-built biometric devices and could use them to target Afghans who helped U.S. troops and other agencies. This cache of information comes at a time when the Taliban in Kabul is conducting door-to-door searches looking for former Afghan government officials and security personnel. The Taliban has drawn up “kill lists” to eliminate the “enemies” of the newly-declared Islamic Emirate, UK’s Daily Mirror reported.

There are also reports of U.S. handing out the names of American evacuees to the Taliban, making them potential targets for killings and hostage taking. “U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to grant entry into the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport,” The Politico reported on Thursday. The names were shared because the “Biden administration has been relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport,” the new outlet added. It was an grave lack of judgement as Thursday’s Kabul airport bombing showed.

The NY Post reported on Taliban’s hunt for those to helped the U.S. and Western allies:

The Taliban has mobilized a special unit, called Al Isha, to hunt down Afghans who helped US and allied forces — and it’s using US equipment and data to do it.

Nawazuddin Haqqani, one of the brigade commanders over the Al Isha unit, bragged in an interview with Zenger News that his unit is using US-made hand-held scanners to tap into a massive US-built biometric database and positively identify any person who helped the NATO allies or worked with Indian intelligence. Afghans who try to deny or minimize their role will find themselves contradicted by the detailed computer records that the US left behind in its frenzied withdrawal. (…)

The US separately has provided the Taliban with a list of Americans and Afghans it wants to evacuate from the country, a move one defense official told Politico was “just put[ing] all those Afghans on a kill list.”

The US Military Strikes ISIS Targets in Afghanistan

The U.S. military conducted a retaliatory strike against the Islamic State in Afghanistan in response to the Thursday’s bombings near the Kabul airport that killed at least 169 Afghans and 13 U.S. servicemen. The drone strike eliminated one of the planners of the deady bombing, the spokesman for U.S. Central Command said. “The air strike is reported to have been carried out from outside Afghanistan and was authorised by President Biden,” UK’s Daily Telegraph noted.

The suicide bombing targeting the U.S. evacuation mission was carried out by the Islamic State’s Khorasan chapter (ISIS-K) — Khorasan region being the Quranic reference to present-day Afghanistan.

The CNBC reported the retaliatory U.S. drone strike:

The United States military struck back at the Islamic State on Saturday, bombing an IS member in Afghanistan less than 48 hours after a devastating suicide bombing claimed by the group killed as many as 169 Afghans and 13 American service members at the Kabul airport.

U.S. Central Command said the U.S. conducted a drone strike against an Islamic State member in Nangahar believed to be involved in planning attacks against the U.S. in Kabul. The strike killed one individual, and spokesman Navy Capt. William Urban said they knew of no civilian casualties.

“U.S. military forces conducted an over-the-horizon counterterrorism operation today against an ISIS-K planner. The unmanned airstrike occurred in the Nangahar Province of Afghanistan. Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties,” Urban said in his statement.

Ahead of the ISIS bombing, U.S. and several intelligence agencies had repeatedly warned of an impending terrorist attack on the airport. Hours before the blast, German and British defense ministers repeated those warnings, announcing the halting of the evacuations days before the August 31 deadline in light of the terror threats.

After Afghanistan Debacle, Biden Promises Israel That Iran Will ‘Never’ Get a Nuclear Bomb

With Taliban overthrowing the Afghan government in matter of weeks — something President Joe Biden promised will never happen, he is now assuring Israel that Iranian regime will ‘never’ get a nuclear bomb. The promise was made by the U.S. president to the visiting Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

“Speaking after their one-on-one meeting, US President Joe Biden tells Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he prefers the diplomatic route to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, but if that fails, the US is willing to consider “other options” to ensure Iran “never” gets the bomb,” The Times of Israel reported on Friday.

The Biden administration is currently negotiating with Iran to rejoin the 2015 nuclear deal abandoned by former President Donald Trump. The White House has eased series of sanctions on Tehran, including an international weapons embargo, put in place to stop Iran and its proxy terrorist groups from getting latest weapons and military technology.

Since President Biden began appeasing the Mullah regime in hopes of restoring the Obama-era deal, Tehran has expanded its nuclear weapons program and continues to produce near weapons-grade uranium.

Russian Envoy: Taliban Wants Moscow to Exploit Afghan Mineral Resources

China and Russia are apparently moving in to fill the power vacuum left by the U.S. and Western withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Taliban would welcome Russians to exploit Afghan mineral resources, Russian envoy to Afghanistan said.

On Friday, New Delhi-based newspaper The Economic Times reported Taliban’s willingness to work with Russians:

Russian Ambassador to Kabul, Dmitry Zhirnov said that the Taliban is open to Moscow[‘]s participation in the Afghan economy, particularly in developing resource deposits.

The Taliban is open to us taking part in the economy, including deposit exploitation,” he said, TASS News Agency reported.

According to the diplomat, the Taliban is also interested in establishing transport and energy projects with Central Asian states.

“In 2010, a report by US military experts and geologists estimated that Afghanistan … was sitting on nearly $1 trillion (€850 billion) in mineral wealth, thanks to huge iron, copper, lithium, cobalt and rare-earth deposits,” Germany’s DW News reported earlier this month. “A follow-up report by the Afghan government in 2017 estimated that Kabul’s new mineral wealth may be as high as $3 trillion, including fossil fuels,” the broadcaster added.

China is particularly interested in lithium, a rare earth mineral used in batteries for electric vehicles, mobile phones and laptops. Afghanistan could have one of the world’s largest lithium reserves, official U.S. reports say.

Most victors hunt down and destroy those they see as traitors. The Taliban is no different.

Remember: we viewed the Taliban favorably when they were fighting Russians. They are the same people today. Nothing has changed.

I think the Taliban are quite different than any real army
They are monsters on the level with the worst that history has divulged

But, they were our friends when the other side was The Bad Guy.

I don’t know. They look like pretty standard humanity throughout our history.

They’re farily low IQ, But to be fair: they’re in an area of the world where the IQ is fairly low.

I wonder: if Biden, Harris, Austin, Milley and Blinken had DNA tests done, would their DNA orginate from Afghanistan?

If the ones you mentioned lived in Afghanistan they would be below average.

I wouldn’t criticize others. Our leaders are not showing comprehension skills or intelligence! The average adult American comprehension level is 5th grade, 10-11 year old. So what is the average IQ of a 10-11 ? Even if comprehension level is 7-8th grade age 12-14 is this the mental capability we want to lead us? What is the Literacy rate level in America? What is low IQ? it’s about 70. 80+% people IQ is 85-110 so what’s the 50% below /above this? I wouldn’t be so braggadocios of U.S. IQ “Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think.” 85% non individual thinkers they follow, not much above Afghanistan.

The fact is that they have chosen to keep their cultural beliefs, identity and actions in that history. They have rejected western cultural modernity. This isn’t going to change anytime soon.

The first mistake many westerners make is attempting to evaluate them by 21st century western, 1st world standards.

The second mistake is attempting to search for elements of a Jeffersonian democracy in their culture, there are some, then taking that confirmation bias and trying to overlay western modernity on them.

The final mistake is the notion that they give a rat’s ass about the opinions of the effete western idealists. They respect strength period. Attempting to shame them using western values is futile.

Attempting to shame them using western values is futile.

They probably will not take a knee, beg, and whimper good boy, girl, whatever. They will not conflate sex and gender and hold parades for lions, lionesses, and their [unPlanned] cubs playing in gay revelry, or maybe they will. One culture’s religion is another culture’s wicked solution. Some liberal values transcend progressive barriers, including denying women and men’s dignity and agency, and reducing human life to a negotiable asset. That said, all’s fair in lust and abortion, I suppose. Forward!

Only the parasite class didn’t see this coming.

The Democrats treated Trump worse than the Taliban. It’s who they are.

“Biden administration has been relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport,”

simply unbelievable–additionally, understand panic as one of the dangers to be overcome in any conflict but weren’t there any sop measures to safeguard/destroy sensitive (biometric) intelligence data etc to prevent its capture?–forget the taliban for the moment–consider what that info would be worth to the chinese or russians

what a presumptuous ass biden is–israel needs no assurance/guarantee from biden that iran will never have nukes–the israelis will see to that themselves

Not when comprehension level I.Q. level is as low as what our elected Professional Pimps have! Maybe a 10-11 year old comprehension level or 80-100 IQ! Intelligence? NO, old joe operates as a bully without intelligence uses his emotions he’s a rowdy little boy of 10-11 running our lives! 80 million who love him have same 10-11 comprehension level and still learning about their world! Joe’s a little boy, not grown into his BIG BOY PANTS YET! That’s why he has HANDLERS IN THE OFFICE AND JILL AT HOME.

As I said before, Biden* is only a minor villain in this clusterf**k. The truly evil people are the Communists running the DoD and State Department who convinced themselves that the people of Afghanistan would willingly embrace woke intersectionality and reject Islam.

Woke intersectionality is a nihilistic mind-control cult run by frightened bigots. The DoD and State Department forgot that woke intersectionality is ALWAYS imposed through force, and will collapse as soon as that force is withdrawn or is met by a stronger force.

Shortly after the fall of the Taliban some Afghanis wanted to restore the monarchy. This was a horror to the woke US hipsters running the nation-building, who really believed Afghanistan could be transformed into a desert version of San Francisco’s Castro District. The result was a government so unpopular and corrupt that it collapsed BEFORE US forced withdrew.

Imagine thinking it was a good idea to fly a gay pride flag in Kabul.

I think that was an effort by the Communists running the DoD and State Department to swan majestically for their fellow Communists, and not an attempt to convince the people of Afghanistan of the validity of woke intersectionality.

So many things that happen in government, media and culture are efforts by Communists to please other Communists, and they blandly assume that “persons of color” will willingly swallow what the largely white Communists spoon-feeds them.

“colored person” refers to a low-information attribute (e.g. skin color). “person of color” is a racist/prejudiced designation derived from diversity [dogma] that treats people collectively in blocs.

Speaking from the viewpoint of a “confirmed bachelor “, that was nothing more than virtue signaling.

I don’t own either the gay pride flag or the “bear community “ variant of it. And, WON’T.

        What’s the bear community variant?

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to UserP. | August 28, 2021 at 5:06 pm

First, some background. For want of a better term, my “spirit animal” has been the bear for many decades. Specifically, the grizzly. Self-assured, not looking for trouble, but won’t put up with it either.

Now, about the “bears”. It is a sub-set of “the gay community” (hate that term), and it came into being as a backlash against the self-appointed arbiters of “who is gay”. A variation of being “authentically black”.

“Gays” were expected to be mincing, prancing queens, lispers, or too-well-groomed types. who hung around in really sleazy bars. Swimmer bodies. Those who have pink triangle bumper stickers and behave in flagrant ways in public. then complain about being bashed.

Bear was a pejorative, but was soon coopted by the very men the queens despised.

The pushback came from those who hold blue-collar jobs. Or, have. Or, could. Those who will twirl a wrench on their own pickup or sedan; not take the white VW Cabrio to the dealer to oil a squeaky door hinge. Those who erect steel, thread pipe, wire up things, drive bulldozers and trucks. Steeplejacks. Those who watch(ed) football at the sports bar, barbecued things, went to the gym for fitness, not to parade.

Part of it was: these are men NOT ashamed to have a belly, or a barrel chest. Or being hairy. They had – or grew – beards and other facial hair. Most of all, they behaved like MEN. No mincing, no lisping, no “ohhhh, GURRLLLLL!” type talk with the mincing flip of the wrist. They were like any other man except for when the bedroom door closes.

The builds, the facial hair, the self-assured carriage of themselves… the name “bears” came into being.

As for LI’s resident human grizzly: I was bearish in my ways since before I realized I preferred the company of men. It is who I am, and what I am. You will never find me in a pride parade, or voting based on what I am.

          Gay pride flag:

More about Bears, and an image of the bear flag. Note: until I found this article I knew nothing of the existence of “manatees.

(side note: one thing I always find funny is schools that have “bears”, “bruins”, or grizzlies” or some such as their school mascot, but the bumper stickers show a four-clawed paw. WRONNNGG.!0

Can’t we all be friends?

The Taliban is going to cancel a lot of people.

      n.n in reply to r2468. | August 28, 2021 at 3:01 pm

Yes, the deplorables: Pro-Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, without diversity (i.e. color judgment) for all. That said, the Taliban have promised their Western peers to abort the baby, cannibalize her profitable parts, and sequester her carbon pollutants to mitigate climate change and in alignment with their progressive religion. One step forward, two steps backward.

I’d like to teach the world to sing
    In perfect harmony
    La, la, la, la
To, do, do, do, do, do
    La, la, la

The “Kill List” was a deliberate and traitorous tactic to cripple the US by ensuring that no one in the future will dare to work with them.

Would you? Knowing that th is admin will willingly and openly sacrifice you to the Taliban?

And it’s working. Other Western countries are already planning for a future without American leadership, cuz what choice do they have.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to hopp singg. | August 28, 2021 at 1:57 pm

Good. Now, they can fight their own battles and pay for their own defense.

That is the silver lining here. Of course, it means giving most of the world over to Chinese or Russian hegemony.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Dathurtz. | August 28, 2021 at 5:09 pm

That is something the rest of the world has to deal with. Let the Germans, French, and others not paying their own way start expending their own blood and treasure.

Andy in reply to Dathurtz. | August 28, 2021 at 8:43 pm

That’s not who the Russians are going to lean on first… First it will be the countries who could not mount a fight if they put their entire GDP up to it… and Putin will mow them down like he was harvesting corn.

The US will leave them dangling in the wind while Putin grabs all the oil and mineral rich territory he can.

Ukraine is pretty much fucked at this point.

No one will ever trust America again.

Nor should they.

“As the United States inaugurated Joe Biden as the 46th president, world leaders, citizens and former officials offered congratulations and expressed hope that the new administration will lead to better relations and reverse the policies of his predecessor.”

As soon as Kamala is sworn in you can take the above quotation, cross out Biden, write in Harris and 47th and it will be eagerly accepted for publication in any world news media.

Rhetorical question, what has no place in a modern society in that picture???? Trying to build a nation with these people is much worse than a fool’s errand. Islam is not a religion. It must not be allowed in any civilized country.
