“The health and safety of members is a top priority for Delta Sigma Phi.”
No one seems to have any specific details for why this happened. There are ambiguous allegations of hazing and such.

Columbia University boots fraternity from Manhattan brownstone
Columbia University had enough of this animal house.
The Ivy League school booted the frat bros from Delta Sigma Phi fraternity out of their university-owned brownstone.
The university would not comment on the group’s ousting, citing privacy issues over judicial sanctioning. The frat’s West 113th Street house will be occupied by transfer students and others.
The governing body for Delta Sigma Phi has suspended the Columbia chapter until Dec. 31, 2022, according to a report in the student newspaper, the Columbia Daily Spectator.
The paper said allegations of hazing and harassment had recently “come to light.”
The national head of Delta Sigma Phi wouldn’t provide any details on the suspension.
“The health and safety of members is a top priority for Delta Sigma Phi. Until the point of our closure, chapter leadership was working to build a stronger culture and meet the high expectations of our national organization and the broader Columbia community,” said Phil Rodriguez, the organization’s executive director.
