Biden Smirks, Makes Snide Remarks When Asked About Afghanistan as White House Cuts Audio Feed

Biden Smirks, Makes Snide Remarks When Asked About Afghanistan as White House Cuts Audio Feed

Do you know why they’re asking you about Afghanistan at a cybersecurity event, Biden? Because your handlers won’t let you answer any off-the-cuff questions.

Reporters tried to ask President Joe Biden about Afghanistan during his cybersecurity meeting.

NBC News’s Peter Alexander wanted to know what Biden will do if Americans are still in Afghanistan after the August 31 deadline.

Biden smirked.

But then he answered, but the White House cut off the audio feed!

Luckily, Alexander tweeted out the response.

Biden said, “You’ll be the first person I call.”

“White house cuts audio feed” Well I hope they kept filming so they can have lip readers tell us what he said.

We’re taking it. So we deserve it.

Btw: there is a rumor Harris has ‘Havana Syndrome’.

Welcome President Pelosi.

I am in one of my serious, non-pun moments. Yes, I have them.

What will end up happening? Will he stroke-out on camera?

Will he end up blathering such nonsense that they cut to some sort of filler film or video? Or, more likely today, simulate audio-stutter and pixel block freezes like when OTA reception goes bad, and claim “we’ve lost the feed ladies and gentlemen”?

Someone on here commented in another thread a few days back about him being gone in two weeks. One bear’s opinion: things seem on schedule for just that.

The 2 week comment was mine. I stand behind it still.

Solid ground to stand on Leslie. I’m with you there.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Whitewall. | August 25, 2021 at 8:02 pm

As well you should. Give or take a day or so, but, he is looking worse and worse. Addled, losing his temper easily, that sort of thing.

I imagine what goes on when he is out of visible range is pathetic and embarrassing to watch. Love him or hate him, he’s a sick, broken-down old man who never had much going on upstairs in the best of times.

Ben Kent in reply to Whitewall. | August 25, 2021 at 10:19 pm

Progs want Biden to stay in so that they have a hope of passing their $3.5 Trillion “infrastructure” / Amnesty for Illegals – bill. They need the tie-breaker vote from Harris.

Biden’s deteriorating faster than an icecream cone on a hot day. Reminds me of Ruth Ginsburg who famously said she would resign when she could no longer do the job full steam, but of course she had no intention of ever resigning and stayed on until she was totally out of steam. Biden is out of steam. The time has come.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Leslie Eastman. | August 25, 2021 at 7:00 pm

I bet that the handlers would have a lot of grief with Ho Harris.

Maybe, but I strongly doubt it. If Biden* leaves within two weeks that will practically be an admission that he screwed up very badly in Afghanistan (and elsewhere). No way that the Party will even hint that they are anything except infallible!

Instead, like the aging Soviet leaders of yore, he will soon disappear from public view. For weeks (months?) we will see and hear nothing of him except pre-recorded snippets showing him talking about nothing in particular. Until one day the Joseph Goebbels media announces that he croaked or decided to resign.

From your lips (fingers on keyboard) to God’s ears. At this point, Kamala actually looks like an improvement. Besides, she’s endlessly malleable, a trait the deep state just loves in a POTUS, being completely devoid of any grounding principles, beliefs, or morals.

Besides, the Dems would get to crow about having the first female president for 2022/24 and whip up their base to protect her “legacy.” I can see it happening, but I still think they want Biden to hang on for another 18 months so Kamala can run twice (for a total of 10 years).

Honestly, how much worse can she be? What would she do differently? She freaking bragged that she was the last person in the room when Biden made the disastrous call to withdraw our troops in the dead of night and abandon thousands of Americans and billions in weaponry, tech, and air power.

She’s not a doddering old fool, drooling down her chin, like Biden, but she’s also no more dangerous than he is. In fact, she’s arguably less dangerous because even Democrat primary voters rejected her for president. She’ll be easier to denounce than Biden who still (somehow!) has that air of moderation and unity. It’s crazy, but he does. She will not.

Of course they’ll play the race and misogynist cards, but who really cares now? The right is beyond done bowing to that nonsense, and the middle is also fed up with the “sure she ordered poached babies for breakfast, but you only object because she’s black. And a woman! A black woman! Racist misogynist hater!”. Yawn.

Heh, sorry for the tangent, just thinking out loud. I don’t see how Biden recovers, especially when the Taliban begins livestreaming the beheading of the Americans that Biden left behind.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | August 25, 2021 at 8:09 pm

“Poached babies”? Oh, dear me… Yes, the thought of doing such a thing is beyond hideous, but in the context of how you used the phrase I still burst out laughing.

Being serious: I think that thinking people all across the spectrum are tired of the race and sex card. Yes, there ARE thinking people to the left; I have two as friends. They are not parrots for talking points.

Heh, I wasn’t sure if they should be fried or boiled. So I went with “poached,” seemed fitting on a couple of levels. It is funny, satire is meant to be, but it’s also alarming, as satire is meant to be.

I do think we are reaching peak antiracist racism due to pushback from parents and orgs like LIF but mostly because it is pure evil. Americans aren’t really crazy about evil, particularly when it means that their children are born evil, just like we aren’t really crazy about national humiliation and leaving Americans to barbarian terrorists who will horrify the world with their wielding of their shiny new Biden booty of arms, equipment, and Americans.

I couldn’t be more sickened by the absolute disgrace of this admin, not just Biden, though he is most responsible as CIC, but the NSA and top military brass, what a gigantic cluster. Dishonorable, shameful, disgraceful.

Well, I for one am glad that’s settled. I suspect that the promised phone call to Mr Alexander will be needed before the 31st. Not that he will actually receive an update on the numbers of Citizens abandoned. Those Citizens remaining in Afghanistan are choosing to stay according to the administration. Debacle.

All 10,000 of them, a ball park number I saw posted earlier today? 50 is a hostage crisis, but what is 10,000 – especially if a few get beheaded to commemorate 9/11?

Men, please take the time to police your own. This is the sort of person who might be tempted to abandon your Brother or Son or Nephew to terrorists.

CommoChief in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | August 25, 2021 at 10:58 pm

      Fuzzy,

I’ve never voted for a d/progressive in my life, much less the Biden/Harris ticket, they ain’t exactly my own. I am certainly more than happy to criticize both of them, their asinine policies, their enablers and those who would excuse the absolute disaster this administration has wrought.

In my original post there is no argument making the case for any equivalence between progressives and ‘men’. None. You made an inference.

That said the man in the article, Joe Biden, didn’t become a toxic, self important, egomaniac overnight. He developed those habits over time, throughout his life. People observed this process. When people in a position to influence the toxic person refuse to do so the problem grows. That’s who we should expect to police us and alert us when we’re off track.

I would suggest that the people with the closest vantage point to see this toxicity develop in Biden’s life were not women but men. His HS friends, his college roommate, his fraternity brothers, his lifelong friends who know him best. They were also, due to proximity and personal influence, in the best position to speak up to him regarding his behavior. They failed.

Let me state this plainly; I have not and do not lump all men together. In this instance you are incorrectly ascribing what isn’t there. I hate that you believe that but I don’t seem able to clarify.

Dial it down a notch, Chief. I simply asked that the Men police their own. What’s wrong with that? I didn’t ask you to fly around the Nation or the world to do. so. Just those in your orbit at work or school or social circle. Check your ego for a moment and reflect on what this says about you, your instincts and attitude.

WestRock in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | August 26, 2021 at 6:21 am

Nature and nurture. You present a solid argument. It may be that as far back as college he didn’t have friends. The kind of people who would associate with narcissistic sociopaths are not likely to be honest or mentor-material. The expressions he used and the names he called detractors during the lead up to the election (and continuing forward) are a window into his narcissism. He appears to be cruel and sadistic as well. There’s a good chance the Men pushed him out of the clubhouse and bolted the door behind him.

I enjoy your analyses and posts (along with countless others). Thanks for sharing them.

CommoChief in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | August 26, 2021 at 9:06 am

          Fuzzy,

We are all impressed that you are able to cut and paste and then replace the word ladies for men while quoting my statements. An original comment might be expected from an editor or at least attribution but nobody is perfect.

Of course, in doing so, you have now granted the legitimacy to those statements which you previously denied.

Glad you came to your senses and dropped the damsel in distress act. Having gotten this out of your system and achieved a form of closure you can hopefully move on.

Seriously though I am glad you decided to return to posting comments.

I should have known when Krugman said it was going well that it was worse than I could imagine.

The Friendly Grizzly | August 25, 2021 at 4:35 pm

That’s a thought. Brain-fry her good. I mean literally, not the ditzy-broad persona she puts on for public consumption.

Then, Biden goes away, and Nancy the Lush is President.

Nancy is such a lush she might tear up her own speech.

…..and he gets away with it.

Imagine if Trump had created this mess and behaved that way when asked the same question.

Since he would have already been impeached a third time last week Queen Pelosi would be starting a fourth impeachment process today.

Not to mention what the Stage 4 TDS Dem-media propaganda machine and all the Hollywood pinkos would be cranking out.

And imagine all the mostly peaceful Antifa and BLM protests there would be in DC outside the WH. How much of DC would be peacefully burned down by now?

But Comrade Joe gets a pass. Because.

So let me see if I can get this straight – –

Trump was done in by his mean tweets, but Biden can be detached as hell, can read EVERYTHING pre-scripted off a teleprompter, can be snarky and rude, and can be totally non-responsive to legitimate questions in a time of a foreign affairs crisis. And that’s OK?

Lordy, lordy, how far the mainstream media has fallen. And as Biden goes south—and believe me, the descent has just begun—the media will follow him right down the drain.

It’s a helluva comeuppance (comedownance?). It’ll hurt the country for a good while, but long term, I think we’ll be better for it because the media is proving—day by day—just how out of sync they are with the real world of the United States of America.

Just sayin’

“Trump was done in by his mean tweets”

More like really funny tweets, even more fun watching Dem Deplorables go ape shit crazy.

The Biden* junta is now claiming that they will get ALL Americans out on time.

https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/469979/

Except for the ones they don’t get out on time, but the Joseph Goebbels media will claim they deliberately stayed behind.

If only Carter had tried this in 1979! “The 52 people the right-wing media claims were taken captive by the Iranians? They voluntarily stayed behind and refused evacuation. So it’s not a hostage situation.”

Obama wasn’t criticized for his premature evacuation that precipitated a transnational anthropogenic conflict and immigration reform (e.g. refugee crisis), so why am I? Perhaps this special and peculiar treatment is motivated by [rabid] diversity (e.g. racism)? That said, the karmic… comic irony of subscribing to the Pro-Choice selective, opportunistic, politically congruent (“=”) religion is lost on decaffeinated Joe.

Maybe inside that deterring brain of his he knows crap is going to hit the fan in a week.

Comanche Voter | August 25, 2021 at 6:47 pm

Shufflin Senescent Joe doesn’t realize that senile, snide and nasty is not a good look for a politician.

He may as well have responded, “Fuck ’em.”

Who has the power to cut off the President of the United States when he is speaking? Cut him off! Shut him down! Damn, that’s real power. Whoever did that is the one that is running things.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to UserP. | August 25, 2021 at 8:19 pm

Or, it is someone who is there to save him from looking like a bigger fool than he already is.

Pure Biden, snide remarks, impetuous and mean hearted, and trivial being who is a shrine to himself.

Shut up, Fat! You didn’t see the whooping I gave the last guy, that bad dude Corn Pop, for challenging me. What a lying dog-faced pony soldier you are! I’ll wrestle you! Right here and now! And that’s no malarkey.

By the way, know any black kids who want to rub my leg hair? Speaking of hair, got any little girls I can sniff?

I saw a video clip of that. That was some time back, and I think he is worse now.

MoeHowardwasright | August 25, 2021 at 7:43 pm

Biden makes Howard Beal look sane. And maybe he was, because this s@#t show is is looking like an Emmy candidate.

Apparently there is an alternate and higher level, non-elected POTUS who can order his microphone silenced.

Maybe we voters should know who that is – Kamala? Dr. Jill? Nancy Pelosi? Susan Rice? Barack Obama? General Austin? General Milley? an unknown Nurse or Doctor?

Maybe we have a right to be informed which of the systemic un-elected experts are controlling the ‘President’s’ microphone.

RAT BASTARD!

Stop the press, I have the original transcript of JB’s muted reply:
“Evacuations? I don’t care evacuations, I have my diapers changed every six hours!”

This incompetent POS is the biggest stain on the Presidency is history.

Xi-den’s vile former boss, a narcissist-incompetent of pathological ego and rank stupidity, did a lot of damage to the U.S. and to the world, too. Enabling the rise of ISIS and kowtowing to Iran’s genocidal, Islamic despots, and, fraternizing like a star-struck fangirl with Raoul Castro. Xi-den and Obama are two peas in a pod, as far as I’m concerned.
